THERE'S nothing worse than seeing the Super Single beaten with the last kick of the ball – but at least I advised cover when Morton were leading 1-0.
Motherwell equalised at the death then proceeded to lose in extra time – so why did they bother equalising? Instead of a nice 4-1 winner I broke even.
Rangers beat the Top Treble with Inverness and Bayern Munich and I was two goals short on the both to score treble.
I totally avoided the Capital One Cup last night but would have been all over Man City if I'd known they were going to be at full strength at Sunderland. That shows the benefit of seeing line-ups and I'm sure there were some big bets on City.
The only real shock was Hull sinking Swansea while Bournemouth needed penalties to see off Preston. The rest of the big guns are in action tonight – Chelsea at Walsall, Liverpool v Carlisle, Man Utd v Ipswich and the big one is Spurs v Arsenal.
Chelsea and Liverpool need wins for different reasons while I can't see Man Utd slipping with Louis van Gaal's side looking better but of course all three are short.
Spurs v Arsenal should see two strong line-ups with pride at stake and both teams to score could be the play here with five of the last six going that way.
However, for my goals treble I've started with Grasshoppers v Sion over 2.5 goals. A lot has been said about Grasshoppers since I put up the Top of the Pots thread the other day and the stats are incredible.
Nine of their last 10 matches have gone over 3.5 goals but there is one fact that is worrying with three 0-0 draws against Sion in the last four home meetings. Hopefully this can't happen on current form and Sion have netted 10 in five games themselves.
Add both to score at Lorient v Caen and Palermo v Sassuolo. There have been 15 goals in Lorient's last three and 13 on Caen's previous three matches.
Sassuolo have been good for goals recently with their last two finishing 2-2 at Roma and home to Atalanta. Palermo went down 3-2 at Milan last weekend and drew 2-2 at home to Carpi.
I've posted a separate Scottish League Cup preview and it's hard to see past Celtic at home to Raith and Premiership leaders Aberdeen at Hibs. Killie v Hearts is tougher to call but for those who don't know Killie have a keeper in the shape of Mark Ridgers from St Mirren.
On the continent I like the look of a few aways at decent prices – Rennes at Ajaccio, St Etienne at Troyes and Villarreal at Malaga and possibly even Stuttgart at Hannover and Marseille at Toulouse.
Of course it's tougher picking aways but I've decided to take Rennes as the Super Single and do them, St Etienne and Villarreal as a Trixie.
Second-placed Rennes have been the surprise guys with wins including away to Lyon and should beat basement boys Ajaccio who have one point and one goal in their six games.
Ligue 2 champs Troyes have struggled in the top flight picking up just three points from six games. Their last two home matches were a 3-1 defeat to Caen and 6-0 by Marseille. St Etienne have won five of their last six and sit third in the table behind PSG and Rennes.
Villarreal are tempting at a best 9-5 with Ladbrokes at a Malaga side who with no goals and two points from their first four although their home matches against Eibar and Sevilla ended 0-0. A 3-1 victory for Villarreal at Athletic Bilbao at the weekend was their third in a row and they should continue their super start.
Instead of the Top Treble I'm putting up a Daily Double with Aberdeen and Borussia Dortmund, five wins from five, ahead of their visit to Hoffenheim who have lost four of their first five.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are short-priced favourites at Athletic Bilbao and Celta Vigo respectively while others to consider include Lyon at home to Bastia and Inter at home to Verona.

Yeah if I feel more confident I will stake higher. but if you see a high stake it could be because I’m doing a challenge first one I done I got to 420 but lost on the next one for 800 if it won I would have taken the 8. Challenges are not for everyone some won’t put big money on bets but I don’t mind as long as im in profit or im low and need to build back up but if I’m low I wouldn’t go as high as outing 100s on bets I would stop around the 100 and bank it and try another one. It’s just the way I like to bet and not for everyone. I’m not on to get anyone to back every bet I do but if anyone does just remember I loose like everyone else does. Just like this slump im in now but confident I will start winning again. I don’t mind if I withdraw 10 or 100s for me its enjoymement of it like a hobby to be honest

This league can be good for goals, saw a stat on it that said 70% of games in the league go over 1.5mgs. Looked back over games played at the same time over the last few months and whenever there are 6 games like this morning, there always seems to be 1 game that lets the O1.5mgs down. There are a few among us that like the longshot, ala Dutch Juliper and French leagues.

I have been following this page for some time and have been having some great luck of late using a combination of people knowledge on here and my own analysis. I thought it was about time I started posting my tips.
I used to spend a lot of my time trying to pick crazy odds acca bets to make a quick buck however I soon realized that this is the wrong approach to betting. I now focus on no more than 3 events (varied sporting events) and try to pick a single, double or treble bet(s) between the odds of evens and 2/1.
I seem to be on the same wave length as many of the posters on the page as many of us are focusing on the same matches/ events. The three games I am focusing on for this evening is Dortmund match, and two Swedish Allsvenskan matches.

No Luke non at all buddy. Basically on William Hill they have something called “acca insurance” so if you place an accumulator on 6 or more games to win outright and one lets you down, you get your original stake back. If im honest it’s something i very rarely use simply because i stick to singles, doubles and trebles at the most.
I’m afraid it doesn’t work through goal markets, over/under or anything like that mate

Mr F i put an accumulator that included man utd game over 0.5 goals in the first half, everything on my accumulator came through but when i looked back on it the over 0.5 was changed to over 1.5 goal as utd scored whiles i was making my selections. Is there any point complaining to b365 as i didn’t actually pick over 1.5 and it got automatically changed, i mean if i put a bet when they made a mistake with the odds surely they wouldn’t pay out.
