AFTER a terrific Thursday it was an okay Friday with Super Single losing but the Daily Double coming up.
Bordeaux and St Pat's brought up the double but the Super Single was beaten by Partick Thistle. I should have cashed out half-time as after the break the Jags were dismal.
And so we move to Saturday. Results weren’t great last weekend and my only successful acca was the Euro treble.
That was disappointing after two super Saturdays but I hope to get back on track today. Remember the top tips are the main ones and the shop tips should be played for low stakes.
Forfar, after much debate, have been chosen as the Super Single. They've beaten Peterhead and Morton back to back and should make it three wins in a row at a Stirling side who were battered 5-0 at home to Brechin last week.
The Top Treble doesn't need much explanation – Championship fliers Norwich at home to Birmingham, Conference promotion chasers Barnet at home to Altrincham and East Fife to beat Queen's Park after ending Arbroath's 100 per cent run last week. You could add Hearts who should get back on track by beating Cowdenbeath after a 0-0 draw at Dumbarton.
I like the Euro treble and Bayern Munich should beat lowly Hamburg with a bit to spare and I'm adding the Madrid pair. Real travel to promoted Deportivo while Atletico Madrid take on Celta Vigo at home.

Newcastle are pretty dire just now, but Hull are not exactly the English Barcelona are they. Not convinced that Hull will win regardless of Newcastles problems, wouldn’t surprise me at all for the Newcastle players to actually show a bit of pride as even though Pardew is taking all the flack they’re the ones embarrassing themselves with the performances. Personally I’m completely avoiding this match, never confident backing the likes of Hull, West Ham, Crystal Palace etc against anybody as they can be as poor as anyone on their day!

It isn’t just this season, we are picking up straight where we left off the last. I think we’ve managed five wins in the whole of 2014.
At Southampton we didn’t even try to compete. That was the most damming element of that match. The players couldn’t care less.
We are a gift to play against at the minute. We simply cannot score, and our centre back pairing of Williamson and Collocini…Williamson simply isn’t good enough. He’s an average championship defender at best. And so far this season Collo has gotten worse and worse and worse.
I watch Newcastle week in week out. There is no way we’ll win today. In fact, if Pardew stays I can’t see us getting a single point the next four games. We are so bad it’s almost comedy.

Hey Ritchie I like your strategy but be careful as Raaljaca has said bookies have got no morals and may not offer evens to your coral account after 15 mins knowing you could make guaranteed profit.
The best thing would be to place the second bet on a different account that way you should get the best odds possible as it will be an independent bet.
It isn’t written in stone that they will do this though just a heads up to be vigilant.

It’s hard to look past Norwich this weekend, they beat a Brentford side who had not lost at home this season 3-0 in midweek, and more importantly came back from 2-0 down to beat Cardiff 4-2 last Saturday.
Critics who branded Neil Adam’s side too inexperienced are now eating their words as people like Nathan Redmond, Bradley Johnson, Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey making up a side that will be a force to be reckoned with in the Championship this season.
The Blues on the other had have only scored 2 goals in the last 5 games loosing 3 of them, and Lee Clarke will be under more pressure here today.

I will admit, Barnet have cost me a few quid in the last couple of games, and i’m giving Martin Allen’s men one more chance against a newly promoted Altrincham side who got a 4-0 hammering at Kidderminster in midweek.

Does anybody have any idea what is happening with the Joinville game? Some sites are showing its 15mins in but with no stats. Bet 365 don’t have it at all, Ladbrokes have it but say it hasn’t started and I’ve just read somewhere else that the game has been moved to 3am tomorrow UK time.
It’s hard to know exactly what’s going on, anybody with solid facts would be appreciated.

Joinville game has caused a few sites problems as you’ll see above, I do agree with you though, 365 used to be a great site especially for lower leagues and more obscure games, been going downhill for a long time though.

I once watched a documentary on sports gambling and they showed how the live in game betting is run in many lower leagues. They actually have someone on their payroll providing live match updates from a cell phone screaming (home attack, home dangerous attack, corner away, away possession etc) so, many times when a game goes off the board in game it’s usually because they’ve lost communication with their contact in the crowd either cell disconnected or he has to go real bad for a pee. No kidding. That’s the way it’s done. I know to bettors it’s frustrating when a match goes off the board in play I know it aggravates me. As for their cash out I don’t mind it. Gives me a chance to lock in profits if something fluke happens or if a large underdog scores first or if the match isn’t going my way.

Groves should bounce back with a comfortable knockout win tonight. I have NEVER seen his opponent box before, but looking at his record nothing stands outs to me. He as never been stopped, but Groves has KO/TKO 15 of his 19 victories. He had Froch down in their first fight, and I doubt this Frenchman will be able to cope when Groves starts to find his range.
In the total round market I will be on U8.5rds at 8/11 and u7.5rds at 10/11 Ladbrokes. Groves may need a couple of rounds to settle into the fight, however I think Groves will want to put on a performance tonight.

had this issue alot with teams saying not started etc and done bets on other sites, they usually catch on and then refund the bet as a free bet or the stake just back into ur account, it is very annoying especially when we are trying to take advantage of the system.
i know a man that once done the correct goal time via a game that ghad started but stated it hadnt started and then he lost his stake as it was refunded as free bet so he still had to re bet it and picking a rebet is hard especially when he only put it on assuming he wud win as game had already kicked off

I know I said a couple of weeks ago, Chelsea wouldn’t lose at the Etihad. But I’m really unimpressed with our performances like many fans despite the wins. I can’t see us winning but I may be wrong. I know many will want to back Chelsea so double chance may be the shout there.
Also Hazard to score first @ 10/1, he ran riot at the Etihad with his performance last season and has acknowledged he has to step it up in big games if he is to become like Messi and Ronaldo as he so wishes.
