A QUIET Monday became a magic Monday as the two doubles I posted were winners.

Hours of research paid off as I settled on Sundsvall and Rio Ave as the Daily Double at 6-4 and I also put up and overs/unders double that came up thanks to the matches at Greuther Furth v St Pauli and Brest v Nancy.

Tuesday night is even more of a minefield with the Johnstone Paint Trophy matches as well as games in Wales and Ireland.

I'm reluctant to bet on JP Trophy games and will only do so with firm team news. Fans of any sides involved can post any info here and thoughts on the Welsh and Irish fixtures are also welcome.

I've had a chance to look at team news for most of the JP games and virtually every side is “ringing the changes” even though six starters from their last game or six from their next are meant to be involved.

I can't stress enough this is a night for low or no stakes but having been asked for tips several times today here goes. My Super Single as I go for six in a row is Shrewsbury to win or draw at Preston.

Shrewsbury have started League Two Well and are a big price at 9-2 with William Hill to beat a side who seem to be taking this one lightly and have several players on international duty. At that price you can get over evens on Shrewsbury to win or draw and I'm risking it.

I've also picked out some both teams to score selections based on stats and form.

Super Single

Shrewsbury double chance (7.45pm)
(5-4, William Hill)

Both teams to score double

Crewe v Rochdale (7.30pm)

Peterborough v Orient (7.45pm)

Pays 5-2 at bet365

Good work with the Doubles Mr F!

Mondays are often billed as quiet days but it couldn’t be further from the truth! U21 / Reserve matches from Denmark, Holland, Belguim and the Czech Republic along with a dozen or so matches from the top 2 leagues from some of the Euopean leagues!

Winners to be had for those who are prepared to do their homework! :)

    • cooldude 10 years ago

      :)

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, there’s probably never a quiet day really but when the games are more obscure it takes so much time to do the research.

After having a look, today is a difficult looking card, cup games are usually to be avoided as they can yield some unlikely results. 3 bets that I’ve picked out and will be on are:

    Wattenscheid 09/Borrussia M’Gladbach II Over 2.5 4/5

Cheltenham Town Over 1.5 team goals 6/5

    Accrington/Carlisle Over 2.5 21/20

    Good luck whatever you’re on

  3. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Cooldude, will need to check but i think it was 21 or 22 from 30 on the first one and 20 from 30 on the second! Will confirm tomorrow as I have them
    Both saved!

  4. cooldude 10 years ago

Greg how did last years attempt at over 2.5 goals per game for 30 days go??

  5. Jack 10 years ago

Never really lost money betting. But this site has taught me an awful lot, from level stakes to today for example. Usually I’d be like I’m bored, let’s bet. But I played it cool, saw there wasn’t much on, had 1 bet of my own and a couple off here and somehow I made money.

So thank you to you all :D

  6. Jamal 10 years ago

Hey everyone my fourfold over 1.5 came in! Let’s try and make some more money!!

Crewe vs Rochdale over 1.5 goals
Oldham vs Bradford over 1.5 goals
Accrington Stanley vs Carlisle over 1.5 goals
Scunthorpe vs chesterfield over 1.5 goals
Yeovil vs Portsmouth over 1.5 goals

    £4.32 returns £16.93

I prefer betting on over 1.5 goals even though the odds are bad, when I pick out a fivefold on teams to win there always that 1 team what let’s you down. Good luck to all tomorrow!

Surely COVENTRY are the super single tomorrow unbeaten in their last five matches and the club is buzzing with news they will be playing back at the richo, good time to be a sky blue fan!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Darren, no surelys unless they say they’re playing a full team – and not many will go full strength while some will have lost players for the internationals.

I had a few quid on QPR to be the last team to sign somebody on deadline day. I’m quite surprised they have paid out. Guessing its the Kranjcar deal which was announced about 11.03 and maybe was finalised a few mins before hand. Just guessed that it would be Falcao or Welbeck seeing as they are still waiting.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

craigyboy, extensions won’t count – it will be last deal done for 11pm so well done.

Mr f, are you gonna share this story about the guy who was offered 35k to cash out in the Celtic game but let it run???

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

cooldude, I have – it’s been added to the ColossusBets week one winners.

    • bigmick 10 years ago

mr f was that story in the record?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

bigmick, I’ll mention it in Saturday’s Record but you’ve seen it now. I’d hope everyone on this site would have taken the £37k unless of course it was some huge syndicate.

With the Minday games, it’s just a
Case of avoiding the 10-15% of matches that don’t go over!

Aberdeen host Inverness at Peterhead in the development league tomorrow! Been on the dons on their opening two games and they haven’t disappointed, winning 4-1 and 3-1, same again tomorrow!

    • AL 10 years ago

I’d not noticed the young Dons were playing up here today Greg, they played the last “home” game at Brechin, so thanks for the heads up.

I’ll probably head up to the game, if I do I’ll post some info on how the games going so you can hopefully take advantage of some in play value!

    • AL 10 years ago

Won’t be going to the game now, just got a check in for tomorrow morning so got a few things I still need to do before I go. Good luck with the series Greg, won’t be able to access the site again out there so will see how you got on in 2 weeks!

Anyone who thinks Arsenal were capable of winning the league this year, they’re a joke. They may play ‘nice’ football but they lack ambition. Signing Welbeck shows it. Good player but he will never fire you to the title.
Not signing Fabregas because you already have those kinds of players is understand but it’s what Chelsea and (if you want me to talk about a club I dislike) Real Madrid do. They keep building and it’s why they are successful. 42.5 million of Ozil is ridiculous. Great playmaker but he’s not fluid enough for modern football (e.g he doesn’t contribute enough, my issue with Mata)
Say what you want about big clubs spending money, but I’ve read (and it wouldn’t surprise me) on net spend, United, Arsenal and Liverpool are the top 3. With Chelsea being 19th out of 20 and even City spending less than those 3.
Piers Morgan (unfortunately) got it right when he said, no league title for 2 years is unthinkable to Mourinho but Wenger will happily accept no league title for 10 years, for doing things that he ‘believes’ are right.

    • simon 10 years ago

i wouldn’t say arsenal are a joke, but i think wenger lost his touch/ambition years ago. arsenal could probably buy just about any player with their income.

    • Jack 10 years ago

No, Arsenal aren’t a joke, but anybody claiming they can win the title this season or last is crazy to think it.
Their issue most years is lack of defensive mid fielder and depth in the team. They were fantastic last year until mentality and the Walcott/Ramsey injury came into it.
They could buy most players but they don’t, they opt for players like Welbeck (who I rate) but that’s my point.
They remind me of Newcastle, who I like as a club for several reasons, they could move forward but they aim too low and have too many other priorities over progression and supporters happiness.

    • simon 10 years ago

jack, as a long time newcastle supporter i can sum up our woes in two words. mike ashley.

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Simon have to give credit to Wenger though as he never fails to qualify for champions league football, and that’s despite only having a mediocre team. Wenger is his own worst enemy as he generally believes in grassroots football, hence he rarely resorts to transfer. Wellbeck imo is a shocker though

    • Jack 10 years ago

Dudes, my point is. The board are happy to keep him, as long as he gets CL. He has beliefs which is fine…but they’re the 3rd biggest net spenders this window I believe. As opposed to ‘killers of football’ Chelsea who are 19th. Welbeck is decent but hardly a title winner. United have had a bad Window to me, but at least Di Maria, Falcao and Shaw are signs of intent.
United used to be my most hated team, but at least their fans have reason to be the way they are at times having dominated for many years.
Some Arsenal fans seem to think the league is won because they sign Ozil or Sanchez

    • simon 10 years ago

agree cooldude, wenger does well with what he has but i don’t really understand why such a rich club doesn’t really compete at the elite level. from the outside looking in, it seems a bit odd the way he operates.

  14. Darren 10 years ago

    Both teams to score DOUBLE-

    Peterborough v Leyton O
    Scunthorpe v Chesterfield

    Pays 2/1

  15. stephen 10 years ago

as long as arsenal get champions league every year it seems arsene and board and most fans are happy, if they brought in a new manager i guarantee they would be winning titles and champions league as i believe they have the strongest foundation of any team in premiership. ps. not an arsenal fan

    • Jack 10 years ago

Feel like I’m gonna have too may conversations here, but I disagree Stephen. The board only care about staying in profit it seems. So why would they hire that kind of manager who can win titles with great players?
No manager wins a title without buying nowadays, especially in the PL.
Seems to me like United with Moyes (ideology/similarities over ambition) but now they’ve gone for LvG who has a lot more.
Arsenal best hope Klopp begs for the job, matches most of what they want, and is class, but they’ll be many more attractive opportunities.

    • 1plus2 10 years ago

Well that was a bit bizarre in the banfield game waiting for over 10 corners last play of the game ref gave a free kick in a promising place waited 5 or 6 secs then blew the whistle and didn’t let banfield take the free kick and the chance of my corner bet coming in :-(

  16. Jack 10 years ago

Skybet, and some others are an absolute con with their transfer betting.
I understand it’s a little stupid to bet so quickly but people see someone at 1/3 to join United and get on it.
Odds are only so good cos if they don’t move you lose your money e.g Hummels.
Clever of them, but very very harsh.

  17. Matt 10 years ago

Was thinking a Fleetwood Town and T.N.S double, prices were 3/4 and 4/7 earlier with Bet365, 1.75/1 for the double. But how now changed to 4/6 and 4/11 and 1.23/1

I think Fleetwood and Morecambe will take this game seriously as their rivals, and Fleetwood should win if that’s the case, especially with the home advantage.

T.N.S are the Celtic (not of this season)/Salzburg of Welsh football!

  18. cooldude 10 years ago

what is football coming to?? Falcao is apparently gonna earn 260k a week, so sick. You can be sure Rooney will come along and threaten to leave if he’s not highest paid.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

cooldude, that’s Falcao’s wage just now – United paying it instead of Monaco. Costing them more than £20m for a season’s loan. Right, I’m off.

  19. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Small stake on Tigre RT5 5/6 with main bet on over 8 corners 4/6

  20. Rileysdad73 10 years ago

Might jump on peterbourgh and Preston tommorw for a nice little double …..

  21. craigyboy 10 years ago

To be fair I respect Wenger for the way he goes about his business. He has always brought players at reasonable prices to improve them as players. Whilst I don’t think Welbeck is that great a player you can guarantee he will net against United at some point this season.
Van Gaal has shown real signs of weakness this transfer window. The Di Maria deal is a joke. The guy will never be strong enough for the Premiership and at £60m he is well overpriced. Panic buy!
Likewise this Falcao deal. £6m for a year long loan is a crazy amount of money. Add to the fact this guy hasn’t kicked a ball for over 6 months has to be worrying particularly when you consider that United are paying his £300k a week wages. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him get injured.
For Wenger to limit his spending and get Champions League football every year is incredible. If the right players become available at right prices Wenger will go for them. Unfortunately there are 6-8 teams who have more money than sense in Europe and will pay over the odds for players. Wenger sticks to his guns and gets the all important top four finish every year.

    • Jack 10 years ago

In my opinion you’re right and you’re wrong. Again, all this Wenger doesn’t spend it rubbish. I’d pay 60 million for Di Maria over Ozil for 42.5 anyday. Ozil is one dimensional. He can assist (yet 3 games this season and 0 assists) blame the strikers for his lack of assists but again down to Arsenal as a club.
I do agree United panic buy. I don’t understand the lack of out and out CB but at least these are big name players with signs for intent unlike Welbeck.
Wenger is a class manager, but all this Arsenal don’t spend…2nd biggest net spenders in the league, so there’s no excuse this time? United like Arsenal have the money to spend, difference is United are using it.
Also this Arsenal go about football the right way? Nobody will care in 20 years. 20 years ago the ‘right’ way to play was big, physical players, and Arsenal don’t have that. In 20 years people will look at trophies won and not the runners-up style. You have to move with the times and as much as I love him that will be Guardiola’s biggest obstacle.

  22. Elliott 10 years ago

    09:30 kick off in Indonesia

Back the away side to win – Persebaya Surabaya @ 2.8

Or even go DNB @ 2.1 or DC @ 1.55 for something safer.

The away side are top of the league and are regularly winning every game since I started backing them 4 weeks ago. They rarely concede and although this is a tough away game for them against the third place team, I anticipate a narrow away victory. Form suggests it’s worth a go!

    Good luck.

    • Elliott 10 years ago

Price has dropped massively over night from 2.8 to 2.2.

  23. craigyboy 10 years ago

I can see why Arsenal fans are getting inpatient at Wenger especially when you consider the ticket prices to watch Arsenal are a lot more than any other team in the Premiership. The problem is if Arsenal spend big and it goes wrong they will be in meltdown and would be in real danger of ‘doing a Leeds’. Liverpool and Man U hold the monopoly just by the names of their clubs and their history. They will always have a huge following in Asia and commercially they could probably cover any costs scuppered for failing to make Europe this way. Add those two teams to City and Chelsea and they are all owned by very wealthy businessmen. These owners could bail them out should it go wrong. As a result there is less risk to those teams if they wanted to throw money at it. I don’t see that same security protection in relation to Arsenal.
If I’m being honest I can’t stand the top clubs but Arsenal are the most vulnerable and if it ever should go wrong you could imagine the Leeds crisis and multiplying it by ten for them. Football is a competitive business these days and unfortunately for some clubs they will never be the best in the Premiership whilst there is so much money in the game.
For me as a Wolves fan I have accepted we will never win the Premiership because we cant afford to compete or gamble hundreds of millions of pounds on players on £300k a week. In the same light of day maybe Arsenal should be happy at where they are. Look how quickly Portsmouth deteriorated. There is a logic to Arsenal’s spending and that can only be a good thing for the long term of the club.

    • Jack 10 years ago

I can understand this, but just thinks it’s funny that Arsenal especially, can say that everyone else spends so much money. I think it’s all friendly football banter/talk, but Arsenal are also owned by wealthy businessmen, I believe on of the shareholders with over 10% has more cash than Abramovich. It’s not about that, they had 120 million plus they saved up. 42 million on Ozil is poor business. He’s not getting assists (regardless if it’s his fault) and if he’s not getting assists what’s he doing? He can’t tackle, he doesn’t track and his shooting is abysmal for a number 10. Again, we’re saying Arsenal don’t spend. 95 million on Chambers, Ozil and Sanchez alone. 2nd biggest net spenders this transfer window. More than Chelsea and City by a mile and more than Liverpool also so no excuse this season.
I’d rather see Liverpool, Spurs or even United (who I used to despise) take the two spots after Chelsea and City. Bored of Arsenal just finishing 4th or maybe 3rd every year and doing nothing/showing no intent in the CL. At least Spurs gave it a real go a few years back.

    • Jack 10 years ago

Also I must say I feel a little sorry for Wenger, very good manager, despite the league being easier in 2004 you don’t go unbeaten without being world class.
His transfer tactics still correspond to a time gone by and his board don’t allow him much.
Crazy how much stick managers like AVB get, when they only get half a say if that on players brought in.

  24. Eagle1 10 years ago

Jack, before the transfer deadline the 3 most valuable current squads were:

    1. Man utd over £400 million
    2. Man city £344.19 million
    3. Chelsea 341.8 million

Liverpool is probably 4th as Arsenal is reported to have the lowest value of the elite squads at £209.5 million

    • Jack 10 years ago

You’re missing my point. Your counter is a total squad worth, which isn’t what I’m saying. And if it is your point. Well look who’s top and look at where they finished/are now. It’s not everything
I’m talking about net spend in this window, the Arsenal team that finished 4th last year allegedly spent more than the 3 teams above them (you’ll have to check) so there’s no excuse.
Point is, Arsenal signing Welbeck shows lack of intent. If they could have/did sign Falcao it would have sent out signals. Or Cavani or someone like that. Board are content with 4th, and so is Wenger. Not saying he’s not a class manager other than that. But the argument of everyone else spends is gone when you spend 95 million plus on 3 players, in the space of 6 months, and are one of the biggest net (major word) spenders in the league ahead of your rivals.

    • Jack 10 years ago

Sorry in the year not 6 months. Wenger is class. But original point was Ozil at 42.5 million is overpriced in today’s market. Not fluid enough. Compare him to Fabregas at 30 million who they turned down at the end of the season. Say Fabregas has Costa who will finish but, that’s Arsenal’s fault for only signing Welbeck.
3 games in and Fabregas has 4 assists to Ozil’s none.
Sanchez and Chambers were fantastic business but for me Welbeck and no defensive midfielder means no chance of the title.
Arsenal play exciting football yet scored less goals than Liverpool, City and ‘boring’ Chelsea last season. Their net spend so I’ve read is more than the 3 teams ahead of them from last season so surely they should easily compete with them. We shall see.
Exciting season ahead and that’s me done on this topic :) thanks for everyone’s thoughts
Goodnight and good luck to you all : D

Also this Arsenal go about football the right way? Nobody will care in 20 years. 20 years ago the ‘right’ way to play was big, physical players, and Arsenal don’t have that. In 20 years people will look at trophies won and not the runners-up style. You have to move with the times…

Don’t get this jack? Surely 20 years ago arsenal were a big physical side, keown, bould, winterburn, Adams etc. They are now a nice passing footballing side. So surely they have moved with the times. And also, regarding the money spent by arsenal, surely they have taken in much more than the rest of the big spenders in player sales, so the 95m on those 3 could easily be netted off with the likes of nasri, clichy and sagna? Remember they just built a huge stadium in London too, I really like the way arsenal are run in comparison to man city/Chelsea who could easily die if the bigcat owners walked away?

Anyway let’s get back to the tipping :-) one love

  28. GoodGuy 10 years ago

Morning fellas, just a bit of info on the welsh footie, Llandudno v Rhyl
@ Llandudno, Rhyl are favourites for the match and probably deserve that tag but Llandudno is buzzing right now, my prospective father in law is treasurer there and I’ve done a little work for the club and been around the ground over the summer, they have just had a new 3G pitch laid and a good influx of players have progressed from the academy , along with some good signings from league football like a centre half from Bury the Llandudno lads are playing done great stuff, they won 8-0 away on Saturday (father in law was drunk after) and played some of the best football they have done for a while, palso previously a very good 1-0 away win at flint town , and also an avalanche of goals pre season , Rhyl whilst probably the better side historically were hammered 6-0 away at TNS, Llandudno are 3.65 and over 2-1 on fixed odds, certainly withy a few quid

    • Dan 10 years ago

      @Mike The Spark.

Sounds like some interesting inside info there Mike. What time does the game kick off?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Mike, spent many great years as a kid on holiday in Llandudno at a friend’s caravan – need to revisit the place one day. Will watch out for the tip.

Paul I see your story about the 37k cashout and thats just crazy. What about the foreigner with no right too vote who has placed accumulate bets of £800,000 on a no vote in the referendum too collect £973,333. The bets were placed in a London branch of William Hill, now thats crazy lol

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Mr H, both are crazy but I assume the guy with the £800k on no can afford to lose it. Don’t know the situation with the £37k punter but he may have been part of a big syndicate. If not he blew it big time. For me that would be an offer you couldn’t refuse.

  33. kris 10 years ago

good morning guys. thank you mr F. for the games yesterday.
    here’s a story that i just listen:
a friend of mine last year, after losing a lot of money, he risked 1000p to 2 teams to score (1 bet) and he lost. next day he played the same and he won 1400p. profit 400p. he continue to play the same system for every single day until today (2 teams to score) his profit of the year was more than 110.000 p. he lost only 8 times….

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

kris, that’s well done – the problem there is if lost the first couple then he’d be chasing. If you can’t get ahead early it’s a great way to do it.

    • Kris 10 years ago

i absolutely agree with you mr F. i posted because here i noticed that alot of people are betting on over and btts games so and i, but risking 1000p to win 300p or 400p its sounds crazy, but if you count this like a daily profit, its sounds amazing…
i will risk one day on this but not now…

    • cooldude 10 years ago

The women BeNe league is worth a look today, all games last week went over 2.5 with 5 of 6 over 3.5, only 1 week played so far howvever but think bookies have odds slightly high for these matches on the overs, again worth a look

  38. Chef N 10 years ago

Elliot, Persebaya Surabaya opponents in the Indonesian match are unbeaten at home in 21 games winning 18 !! although Persebaya have only lost 3 away matches in last 24, this is a close one to call

  39. Mark Mc 10 years ago

There are no sure things in football, but Videoton at home to FC Ajka is probably the nearest you will find.

At the moment, there are no handicap markets showing up, but when they do get on -1, -2 even -3.

Videoton are in Hungary’s top league. Played 6, won 6. Ajka meanwhile are in the league below, having played 3, winning 1.

I know this is league cup so players may be rested, but even a second string Videoton team should ease to victory here.

Tips. Videoton -1, Videoton -2, Videoton ht/ft, Videoton win both halves.

    Good luck

La Equidad vs Atletico Nacional. Colombia Primera. K.O 2:00AM

BTTS @ EVS. Been shortening through the night.

Last four Equidad games in all comps have seen btts.

3/5 of Nacionals games in all comps have seen btts. Nationals last 6 away games has seen btts.

Half stakes. BTTS & over 2.5 @ 8/5 **LOST** Final score 4-0. Sorry lads. Jumped on Nacional goals in play to save it but I realize that doesn’t help anyone who followed.

Old favourites Videoton at home to lower league Ajka.

Videoton have started the season with 6 straight wins and scoring 19 goals they also won 7-0 away in there last cup match. Not much value at the moment… over 2.5 @3/10 and HT/FT @4/7.

      It is.

I went £5 on away to return £10.50

Then bottled it as home side looked likely to score so bet £5 home to return £17

I can’t have a draw. Happy to get my money back and at most win 50p! Even happier if home side win to make £7 profit!

HAve no fear boys. The BeNe league is here. Looks like WillHill have decided to leave them off todays page as every game from the first fixtures saw btts & over 2.5. Well get some more info where I think they’ll be goals. First game doesn’t start till 5:30PM so plenty of time to study.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Dudes its the top Women’s teams in the Netherlands and Belgium. The likes of Ajax, Standard Liege and Twente. Its early days so I may just sit back and watch what happens because fixtures are tough to call. The better teams are playing each other are ladies after all. Games to keep an eye on tho.

Another game in the calcutta premier division today. mohammedan vs southern sanity. A home win is by far the likliest out come, however this is reflected in bookies odds @11-20. A small stake on home win + BTTS could be worthy of a quid or two @16-5. But this game is far from a banker.

Still looking at tonight’s series bet, will post later!

Aberdeen youth v Dunfermline youth KO 6pm

They have revamped the SPL u20 league in name and have also changed the rules around the number of senior players that can play! Last season it was three, however they have have increased this to 5 which makes it worth looking at team news! Twitter is a good place to find this! Aberdeen have started the season in superbly,
Winning 4-0 against Hibs and 3-1 away at Motherwell! If expect the dons to fight it out with Rnagers and Celtic for the title! ICT have had a poor start losing both games 4-1 and 2-0 against weaker opposition than Aberdeen! I expect Anerdeen to win this comfortablely and will be keen to see what price we are getting for Aberdeen over 2.5 team goals if it comes inplay! In the meantime going to go for match goals!

Back over 1.5 First half goals
    3.5 match goals

Next its a trip too India and the Calcutta Premier League….

    Mohammedan SC v Southern Samity

Mohammedan SC have played 28 matches in 2014 and these games have yielded 63 goals, they have scored 35 and conceded 28 which is an average of 2.25gls per match. In those 28 games BTTS has come in 16 times,O2.5gls has came in 11 times and O3.5gls has come in 4 times. 17 of their 28 games have went under 2.5gls. They have a record of W13 D8 L7 from the 28 games. This season they have played 7 league games and their record is W5 D1 L1 F11 A5

Southern Samity have played 20 matches in 2014 and these games have yielded 66 goals, they have scored 32 and conceded 34 which is an average of 3.3gls per game. In those 20 games BTTS has come in 9 times,O2.5gls has came in 11 times and O3.5gls has come in 8 times. 9 of their 20 games have went under 2.5gls. They have a record of W9 D5 L6 from the 20 games. This season they have played 5 league games and their record is as follows W2 D1 L2 F4 A9

    H2H record as follows…

Mohameddan have won 3 and drawn 1 of the 4 listed meeting between these clubs with all 4 games yielding a miserly 5 goals. Previous meeting results are as follows 1-0,1-0,1-0,1-1.

Mohameddan were relegated from the top flight last season and appear too be cruising in this league so far and I fully expect them too make a quick return too the top flight. I can see them chalking up another victory agin today in a low scoring affair. So im leaning towards the following bets….

    Mohameddan WIN – 4/7
    Under 2.5gls – 7/10
    Correct Score Mohameddan 1-0 – 5/1 or 2-0 – 6/1

International Friendly at 11AM between Vietnam and Vietnam U23,as its an in house friendly between teams from the same nation it could have a competitive edge with both sides trying to get one up on the other and earn bragging rights at their respective clubs….both sides have goals in matches in their recent history so could be worth keeping an eye on inplay…O2.5gls currently 4/9 and goal line over 3.0,3.5 is 1.900

Vietnam have had 6 of the last 7 O2.5gls and 4 of those went O3.5gls ….6-0,3-1,0-0,5-0,3-0,3-1,2-1

Vietnam U23 have had 4 of the last 5 O2.5gls and 3 of these went O4.5gls….2-1,5-0,1-0,7-0,4-1

Paul quality tipping yesterday from a threadbare card. My missus is a deputy manager in Hills and I hear Steven Thompson placed £100 on himself too be the next St Mirren manager yesterday……Any thoughts? And does he have his coaching badges as of yet?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Mr H, firstly he’s not allowed to place bets so IF he did he better be careful. I’m sure he has his coaching badges and must feel he’s in the frame IF he placed the bet. St Mirren fans I know want Tommy Craig out now and one of them convinced me to take Dundee Utd as the Super Single on Saturday as he guaranteed me Saints wouldn’t score. You’d imagine Craig will get at least two more games and a chance to sort it out in the international break. After that Thommo could be caretaker assisted by Goodwin and Teale and then he’d need to prove himself.

Cooldude the Daily Express is reporting that Falcao will earn £350,000 a week! If that is true I think it’s ridiculous that Utd are willing to pay that kind of wage for a player they’re only going to have for a year. All their money seems to he going on attacking players when their biggest problem is defence. Blind is a left back and they’ve already spent £27m on Shaw in that position.

    • cooldude 10 years ago

AJ hughes, dunno how many times Ive come on here before about Man Utd. The transfers are all wrong imo. Falcoa has not even played a game in months due to injury. Its not worth getting into.

    Crewe v Rochdale (7.30pm)

Over 2.5 goals @ 5/6 (Paddy Power, Betfair)

Not contributed on this site for a wee while now but I’m back yet again. I’ve had a look at tonight’s Football League Trophy games and I do advise small stakes but my tips are here for you to pick from at your own choice anyway. I’ll post this plus my others again later but here they are for now…

Crewe have had a horrendous start to the season and have lost all 5 games so far and conceded 13 goals. The team they play tonight beat them 5-2 at home in one of their opening games. Rochdale’s 5 last league games have seen over 2.5 goals and Crewe’s last 3 games at home have seen the same. I can see a few goals in this one tonight at a decent price.

  73. maxclover 10 years ago

    Burton Albion

I think they will use blind as a centre mid more often.

  75. Chip 10 years ago

    Preston v Shrewsbury (7.30pm)

Preston to win and BTTS @ 13/5 (bet365, BetVictor, Betway)

The price looks great for this bet and I’m not just taking a guess, I do have stats to back it up. Preston are great at home and have only lost 2 games at home since the start of last season but try have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 7 games at home in the league. Shrewsbury have scored in all 5 of their recent away games in the league I can see them scoring tonight but Preston should see them out.

  76. Chip 10 years ago

    Stevenage v Gillingham (7.30pm)

    Over 2.5 goals @ 6/4 (Ladbrokes)

Last season Gillingham seen 74% of their games going over 2.5 goals as well as their first 2 away games so far this season which seen 6 and 5 goals. Stevenage have only had 1 game out of 5 which hasn’t went over 2.5 goals so I think odds against looks great for this game.

    Good luck.

    ***** Final score 2-4 Persebaya Surabaya ******

    Persebaya Surabaya @ 2.8 WiN
    DNB @ 2.1 WIN
    DC @ 1.55 WIN

    Overs Series – Bet 2

    Preston v Shrewsbury KO 7.45pm

It’s been a terrific start of the season for The shrews, unbeaten in their opening 7 matches and have knocked Blackpool and Lecicester out of the league cup! They have have scored in all 7 matches and I see no reason why they won’t score again tonight! I’d expect Preston to make changes and it should lead to an open game! It’s hard to read into Head to head at Deepdale
As they have only met 4 times in the last 20 years but all 4 saw both teams score and over 2.5 goals!

Back over 2.5 match goals 17/20

There are 15 games in total tonight in the trophy cup and you’re getting decent over 2.5 prices compared to what you’ usually get! Worth a small treble or 4 fold!

Liam Cooper has been sold to Leeds, Ian evatt suspended and Sam Hird is out for up to 10 weeks. Charlie raglan made his debut Saturday and jack broadhead who has about 5 appearances are our only recognised centre backs. I’m general we do score though so id look at the btts

    Peterborough vs Leyton Orient
    Yeovil vs Portsmouth

    £5 trixie bet returns £115

There’s some others that look good but these stood out to me.

  103. Mxc 10 years ago

Worth mentioning with Trixie bets, as the odds are over evens, if 2 come in i’ve got my money back plus some change.

  104. Luke 10 years ago

One game only in Sweden today and Syrianska look decent value. Although only 6 points separate them from their opponents GAIS, Syrianska have won 6 of their 10 home games this season, including all of the last 5.

By comparison, GAIS have won only once away, losing 7. Would suggest a small wager on the home win at 17/10.

  107. Mxc 10 years ago

I’ve gone on the gamble that Portsmouth will go for it, wanting to get a victory over a team a league higher than them, and Yeovil should grab one too. I could be very wrong though, only time will tell.

  108. hasheyb 10 years ago

Im an arsenal fan and not overly confident well get top 4 but we will still score alto of goals and ladbrokes have wellbeck priced up at 8/11 to score over 7.5 prem goals this season. to me the line is far too low. with our midfield he will get plenty of chances and will be main striker till at least Christmas.
Nap of the season and biggest bet of the season for me.

    WYCOMBE WANDERERS/COVENTRY CITY JPT TROPHY

Coventry are starting to gel as a team. Not losing but not winning either.

Last week saw them finally pen a deal to return to the RICOH arena and as a Coventry fan, the atmosphere is buzzing for Friday’s televised game against Gillingham.

The players will be keen to prove a point tonight to justify their place in Friday’s line up at a home game where the atmosphere will almost indefinitely be electric. They’ve been playing in-front of home crowds of 200, and on Friday will potentially be playing in-front of over 25,000.

Coventry should be too much for the Wycombe outfit this evening.

Back a Coventry win @ 6/4 or even Coventry to qualify @ 8/11.

      Russian Division 2 Urals-Volga

      FC Spartak Yoshkar-Ola vs. Kamaz over 2.5 goals @ 4/5 bet365

FC Spartak Yoshkar have conceded 14 times in 6 games and the last 2 these have played went overs also the last 16 games in the league FC Spartak Yoshkar have scored in 11 of them.

Kamaz have started well in the league and sit top and my only concern is they have only scored 7 in 6 games so far in the league BUT i am taking into consideration the poor run FC Spartak Yoshkar are on and they sit rock bottom with 14 goals conceded in 6 games.

So @ 4/5 worth a small punt and as always only bet what you can afford g/l if playing :-)

Does anyone know what should happen with the bet for team topgoalscorer bets if a player has moved on now ? I have loic remy in an acca its still showing up on the betting slip to run ? Shold this be voided where do i stand here ?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

jb, if he’s played then technically it’s a loser. However, ask the bookie if they’re willing to void the bet as it’s unfair in the circumstances or even to offer you a refund as a free bet. Who is the bookie?

  137. Belfast Red 10 years ago

Back cliftonville to beat linfield at home tonight in irish league 23/20

  138. Mxc 10 years ago

JB – i’m not sure but I’d imagine if he’s played then it counts, same as a goalscorer bet, even if they play for 1 min, go of injured, your bet is valid. Could be wrong though – i’m just going on the basis the bookies will do anything to keep your money.

  139. clarkatroid 10 years ago

I’m new to this site , just like to say hello guys , it’s seems like a very good betting reference point. friendly as well

niceties out of the way, I’m an avid fleetwood fan, I’ve watched every home game for 7 years , and would advise against a bet on fleetwood tonight . the value is undoubtedly with morcambe at 7/2

statistically it looks like a home win, but fleetwood are a better away team, they can look very shaky at highbury at times. Brilliant start to league 1 but would suggest they are overachieving atm as this is essentially the same team that got promoted through the playoffs last year.

morcambe beat us last time we met last season, they are flying high also in league 2, and most importantly it seems graham alexander will field largely a second 11 . I’ll wait for confirmation of the team sheets before a small punt on morcambe at 7/2

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

clarkatroid, great to get fans of different teams involved. Thanks for the info on a night for low stakes or even no stakes.

  140. Alex 10 years ago

Craigyboy- you have got it all wrong with Arsenal, they are the best run club in England that are none reliant on a sugar daddy. They have almost paid off their stadium and after years of not spending they are able to throw whatever they like at transfers. They have a sustainable business model, city and Chelsea do not. If Roman or the Sikh call it a day then those teams have had their day unless a similar character takes over. Arsenal have achieved champions league football year after year and will do so again this year.

    • craigyboy 10 years ago

Alex I was kind of saying they were very well run. What I was saying is that IF they were to spend big like City, United, Chelsea and Liverpool they don’t have a sugar daddy to support them if it all went wrong. This could in turn potentially damage them far worse than what happened to Leeds. Whilst Arsenal would probably be okay financially for a couple of seasons missing out of the Champs League, there would be pressure from fans to spend to get back in. Which could in turn spiral out of control. Its all ifs and buts and as I mentioned what Arsenal are doing is fantastic IMO. They spend within their means and if a player isn’t available at the right price they wont go chasing the deal and will look elsewhere.

    Howdy Folks

I have been looking at Syrianska for today and I am being put off by two things.

They have drifted to 2/1 on 365 and seem to be drifting across the board.

My research has uncovered some worrying signs. Firstly on the Syrianska website the preview contains a lot of cryptic, meandering, head-scratching comments that didn’t fill me with confidence and according to svenskafans.com they are missing 3 players that ‘are a big loss’ to suspension.

  160. saddler78 10 years ago

I noticed somebody mentioned earlier the game between Syrianska and Gais in Sweden. Syrianska are now 19/10 for the win which looks a great bet when you look at their home form. Gais are also below them in the table.
I know this is too good to be true so i am obviously missing something??

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Saddler rarely bet on one team to beat another these days unless its Mr f double. btts is the way forward and a bit more predictable.

    • saddler78 10 years ago

Mainly stick to goals myself now Cooldude thanks to the great advice/tips on here. Like to risk a small bet on teams to win though if i think there is a bit of value to be had. Think i might avoid this one though….then kick myslef when it comes in!

    Just starting

    SCHALDING-HEINING VS. BUCHBACH
    Under 2.5 goals
    1/1

I don’t want to say hate but both teams are certainly not friends ;) will be plenty of fouls, cards and moments to slow down the game which should end up in few goals. Get on it!

    • cooldude 10 years ago

      fiddler, just the man :)

  162. Craig Alves 10 years ago

I’d rather be in Sweden at 85/40 than on Austria at 11/8 Cooldude, usually the home team wins 2-1 between them recently but 5/4 at PP for DNB also looks decent.

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Craig, not sure if you have seen the Austrian squad but its quite a force, although I dont know the team tonight so they could just as easily get beat

  163. Neil G 10 years ago

  168. Nemlejh 10 years ago

First post hehe. First of all thanks for the good tips i got here last couple of days.

Seen some discussion about the Syrianska-GAIS game in Sweden tonight. Syrianska is missing 3 good players and also under investigation about there last 0-4 loss.
GAIS has a rising form last 3 games where they only conceded 1 goal in total and managed to get 7 points.

A Swedish betting site has GAIS dnb as today’s best bet. Personally I stay away from this but thought you might like the info.

  170. leecunliffe 10 years ago

Think we all agree tough to call tonights games so am forgetting W/D/W market and going for a low stake over 2.5g acca on the following games

Crewe V Rochdale – both out Carling Cup so represents a chance of cup, last time met they shared 7 goals

Crawley V Cambridge – Crawley struggled in league of late but playing a team in lower league so could get back to winning ways, that being said Cambridge have been averaging 2 goals a game themselves so could be a few in this one

Peterborough V Leyton O – if this was a league game it would be one id put in my bankers as both really attacking teams home team avge 2 goals per game, Orient have got 4 away from home already this season

Stevenage V Gillingham – Gills have been dire on road conceding average of 2 goals per game but should win this but porb not without conceding, they score 1.8, concede 2goals on average so could easy be 4-2 away win

Notts co v Mansfield Notts Co again have been scoring as many as they concede and I expect a repeat of the pre season match between the 2 that finished 3-1 to home side

I will be doing trebles, 4 fold and one acca for low stakes and my stats and studies are based on this season without knowing who will be resting who but its a bit of interest and hopefully the form stacks up

Is there a particular 3 or 4 games you fancy for over 2.5 Greg. I always do well perming your overs

  194. Bewolf 10 years ago

greg any news about aberdeen game? tnks

  195. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Yesevil would say the below matches are worth a look for over 2.5

    Accrington v Carlisle
    Crewe v Rochdale
    Barnsley v York
    Yeovil v Portsmouth

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Been looking at Crewe/Rochdale over 3.5 all day, Greg! Might just settle for the over 2.5 double with your series tip. For H2H and recent results your O1.5FH/O3.5MG markets look good tho.

  196. Ben 10 years ago

Agree with chris guy, i am a barnsley fan lucky me, but can certainly see hourihane scoring and anytime 5/1 is a good price

  197. SefK 10 years ago

Aberdeen 1-1 so Gregs 1.5FHG in

  198. SefK 10 years ago

if you was able to get on it that is.. i didnt cos it wasnt available

    Syrianska leading by 1 – 0

  201. Greg Browning 10 years ago

    Aberdeen 1-1 ICT half time!

over 1.5 fhg would have been a winner at around 5/6! I should email them asking to be paid out, haha!!

    Bet365 costing us money

  202. Jordan 10 years ago

    Orebro U21’s having a party! 8-1 75 played.

  203. Mr H 10 years ago

Greg any links too the live scores for aberdeen game

  204. Yesevil 10 years ago

Cheers Greg, I’d picked out the Accrington game in the early hours of this morning. I’ll perm any 3 and all 4, usually get some good profit from your overs

  205. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Bet365, brought ever game inplay bar the Aberdeen one! Swines!!

Good luck with the double Jordan!

Mr H, Aberdeens official twitter page will update whenever there had been a goal scored! Remind me of the old ceefax days, haha!

Hopefully same again tonight Yesevil :)

  206. Centrecircle 10 years ago

What a pity greg, and everyone else, i couldn’t get aberdeen youth on paddy power, bet365 or william hill i watched them all religiously :( They had the cheek to have the others though!

  211. neil Galt 10 years ago

Thanks for videoton tip earlirer .. where can i find the aberdeen development league scores lol

  212. Mr. Orange 10 years ago

Because the game is mentioned a lot today, the PNE v Shrewbury lin-ups:

Preston: Stuckmann, Laird, Woods, Buchanan, Welsh, King, Huntington, Hayhurst, Hugill, Brownhill, Browne

Shrewsbury: Leutwiler, Ellis, Caton, Clark, Grandison, Demetriou, Woods, Akpro-Akpro, Griffith, Gayle, Knight-Percival

Not familiar with the players, but looking at the line-ups from the weekend they have made some changes.

  213. Mr H 10 years ago

Swines indeed gregg, I have them in a treble with videoton -2 & syrianski and with it not being in play icant cash out :( twats

  214. Jordan 10 years ago

Think I may have to put Orebro U21 in the favourites on Flash Scores. 5-0 FH, 10-1 FT. Over 2.5 SH goals were 5/2. So weary of betting in play and yet I can’t pick a winner if I tip it at the mo.

  215. spoony 10 years ago

    Hibs u20 under 1.5 fhg 10mins in 4/7

  224. Mike The Spark 10 years ago

For those that did dabble it’s 1-1 in Llandudno despite Livescore and flash score saying. 0-0 it was 1-0 but Rhyl equalised !

  225. donny1266 10 years ago

Syrianska game definitely fixed. 2-0 up then an deliberate penalty and an own goal make it 2-2 right at the end

  226. Shortee 10 years ago

    syrianska game was a disgrace

  227. Monsieur Maurice 10 years ago

Any thoughts on the second half of Crewe – Rochdale? Over 2.5 coming up you think?

  228. Mark Mc 10 years ago

Tips. Videoton -1, Videoton -2, Videoton ht/ft, Videoton win both halves.

    All tips won!!

  229. cooldude 10 years ago

My bets are looking good but bookies page is failing to load Fu**ing nightmare

  230. Wato 10 years ago

Good work with the Videton game Mark

  231. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Cheltenham lead Oxford 1-0 but are level on corners with 5 a piece. Over 15.5 asian corners 1.850 seems decent enough as games usually pick up in the 2nd half.

  232. fiddler 10 years ago

Peterborough playing 10 men, surely 2 corners isn’t too much to ask

  247. Chip 10 years ago

    —————-

    ** WON :) **

  248. Singh 10 years ago

I didn’t get a chance to cover as I was out. I’m £200 down now on your first two tips this month Raal :(

    Tomorrow is a new day.

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Singh. you were advised to use level stakes.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Singh if I put a bet up I expect it to win but covering is part and parcel of making sure you profit from any advice. What I will say is from Mon to Thurs bet half your normal stake on anything I put up and do full stake from Fri to Sun as the majority of the Premier League matches around the world are played then. If you are betting to £100 as a level stake then no problem if that is your normal bet but if you are betting large simply to follow my tips then that has to stop as I could go 10 days without a winner then hit 20 in a row but you would be skint after the first ten.

  249. alec 10 years ago

rajalca hope a few late goals in glentoran game for those who backed it trying to get used to backing both teams to score u have got some success with those bets thanks

  250. RobRoy 10 years ago

    Thanks bigmick

  251. Kris 10 years ago

    3 games on 19:30 4+ goals. sad

  252. Yesevil 10 years ago

After having a look, today is a difficult looking card, cup games are usually to be avoided as they can yield some unlikely results. 3 bets that I’ve picked out and will be on are:

    Wattenscheid 09/Borrussia M’Gladbach II Over 2.5 4/5 :)

Cheltenham Town Over 1.5 team goals 6/5 :)

    Accrington/Carlisle Over 2.5 21/20 :)

    Good luck whatever you’re on
    –—————————————-
A full house for me today, after 3 from 4 yesterday it’s been a great couple of days

  253. raaljaca 10 years ago

    Northern Irish Premiership 19.45
    Glentoran v Portadown
    Both to score/Over 2.5 match goals 7/10

** LOST ** H/T 1-1 AND UNDER 2.5 WAS EASILY COVERABLE FOR PROFIT BUT BET LOSES **

    ————–

    ** LOST **

Managed to get the match result but unfortunately Shrewsbury didn’t manage to find the net tonight.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Chip, just back in. At least you got the result. Tonight is why I play JP Trophy for minimum stakes – in the next round I’ll try to leave them well alone.

  255. Singh 10 years ago

Cool dude, I am using level stakes.

    ** LOST **

  257. cooldude 10 years ago

All Im saying is be careful

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

100% correct dudes mate but if Mr Singh bets £100 a time normally then we are fine as he will win it back.

  258. Kris 10 years ago

    nice yesevil

  259. mr mac 10 years ago

Hi guys sorry for the naive question but I am new to the site, just wondering what ‘level stakes’ means??
P.s. loving the chat, banter, insighr and tips thus far…mac…

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

mr mac, it means don’t lump on. For example if you bet £10 on the Super Single, always bet £10 on it. Don’t up it because you think it’s got a better chance. An alternative to level stakes is a betting bank. My personal rule is never to bet more than 10 per cent of my bank on one day.

  260. RobRoy 10 years ago

Any ideas for tomorrow Raal? Do u bet on internationals?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

RobRoy, the Peruvian game is up for a BTTS and seeing as you are such a splendid chap I will repost it for you ;) Keep The Faith

      Peru Primera Division 22.00
      Leon v UTC Cajamarca
      Both to score 10/11 (Betvictor)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

And RobRoy I will bet on flies racing up a wall if I see one of them on crutches ;)

  261. cooldude 10 years ago

mr f remind me never to bet on JP trophy again :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

dudes, my stakes were so minutely small that even though the bets lost I still won.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

cooldude, I feel the same way but no real damage done. Two tiny bets and put up late after a few hours of reading every manager say they’d make changes. It’s a minefield really.

    • bigmick 10 years ago

cooldude you were advised level stakes.

    • cooldude 10 years ago

50k down the drain Big Mick :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

No damage there dudes as long as that is a level stake :) #boooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    • bigmick 10 years ago

coo;dude you must be running about with harpeets cheque book.lol

    • cooldude 10 years ago

Speaking of Harpreet, apparently he had his drink spiked at his sisters wedding!! Raal, where you at that wedding???
      :) :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

No dudes although in receipt of an invite, marvellous gesture from all at Team Harpreet, I had to unfortunately turn it down as I was very busy on Saturday relieving several bookmakers of a not to shabby amount of money courtesy of the Heart of Midlothian yet again. 4 league games, 4 wins, 4 incredible bookie bashing matches ;)

    • cooldude 10 years ago

      BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM :)
Why cant we all have Raal footy knowledge ??!!

    • swany 10 years ago

dude remember never to bet on the jp trophy again

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Evening swany, all well a touch further up the East coast?

  262. Mxc 10 years ago

    I’ve gone for these tonight

    Over 2.5 & BTTS in

    Crewe vs Rochdale
    Peterborough vs Leyton Orient
    Yeovil vs Portsmouth

    £5 trixie bet returns £115

There’s some others that look good but these stood out to me.

    ——

    LOST

Crewe failed to score letting me down in the first game, but the other 2 came in meaning I made around £2 profit. Won’t spend it all at once ;)

  263. Jack 10 years ago

Bad night so far. But luckily damage has been limited.

Southend to qualify at 10/11 looks good? Gone extra time but they’ve been all over Wimbledon who are down to 10 men?

    • Jack 10 years ago

Oh no its penalties. My bad!

  264. RobRoy 10 years ago

Thanks alot Raal, ill be on it like a car bonnet!

  265. Craig Alves 10 years ago

    Peterborough corners fell 1 short of over 5.5 TC & 2 from RT7 :(

also Cheltenham Oxford corners inplay loses :(

Only thing I got up tonight was a treble of overs at Peterborough, Wimbledon and Preston win. Overs at Wycombe let down for 4/4

  266. Singh 10 years ago

Raal, thanks for the advice. £100 stakes is a normal bet for me so don’t worry I’m not staking heavy or too large. What gave me the confidence is that like you said, you have only had 1 losing month since September 2013.

Knowing my luck, I hope I don’t jinx you for September 2014 lol. I’ll continue to follow you as I’m sure the balance sheet will look different in a weeks time. Thank you for everything you do on here.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Pleasure Mr Singh and this will be a winning month so don’t worry.

  267. Nathan 10 years ago

Why are btts always overpriced loseing so much money it’s unbelievable u got Stevenage playing against 10 men for 30 mins and can’t score one goal it keep falling in the to this trap

  272. Yesevil 10 years ago

Greg – cheers pal, I permed 3 from 4 and as always made profit. I don’t think I’ve failed to make profit yet from perming your overs tips on cup games and at weekends.
Between yours, Raal’s and my own tips the past 2 days have been tremendous for me :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Yesevil, unless you withdraw that scandalous accusation that my tips have made you money in the last 2 days my lawyers will be in touch ;)

  273. kris 10 years ago

    goodnight guys

  274. GeorgeK 10 years ago

Any tips on belgrano v huracan guys?
@greg one for corners maybe ?
Away dide definately better team, and odds against for race to 5 seems tempting but youre the man!?

  275. Jack 10 years ago

Somehow added an extra letter to my name so moderation and made a timing mistake.

    22:15- Sportivo Belgrano v  Huracan

Been doing my reading here- Huracan are at 11/8 and shortening.
Belgrano are above them early on in the league table, but come off the back of the loss, and have played a game more.
They are also apparently missing their two first choice goalkeepers and a very good defender (Talamonti)

    • nathan ufton 10 years ago

i got them at 15/8 just before they scored. thanx. odds are now just 2/5 and they seem good value for it

    • nathan ufton 10 years ago

      cashed out @ £39.81 on 46 minutes.
      pot back up to £50.

    • Jack 10 years ago

Well done Nathan, I should have suggested that really, as I did something similar. Also had them to score first, happy days :)

  276. Barney 10 years ago

    Bigmick…what do level stakes mean?

    • Jack 10 years ago

Come on pal, it’s literally 10 comments up, people should read the thread. But taken from Mr F ” it means don’t lump on. For example if you bet £10 on the Super Single, always bet £10 on it. Don’t up it because you think it’s got a better chance. An alternative to level stakes is a betting bank. My personal rule is never to bet more than 10 per cent of my bank on one day”

  277. Mxc 10 years ago

    Brazil Serie B

    ————-

    Atletico GO vs Boa

    Go for BTTS in play

Atletico have failed to score in 2 from 9 at home this season. They have scored in all their games at home since May (Except for a 0-2 defeat to Ceara, who are top of the league)

Boa have scored in their last 5 away games, and their last 9 games in total. The last 2 H2H’s also went BTTS.

I would also look at first half goals in play, Atletico score 60% of their goals in the first half, their average for first goal scored at home is 21 mins. Boa score 40% of their goals in the first half too, but statistically score earlier away from home (average time is 32 mins)

  278. nathan ufton 10 years ago

I picked out my single banker yesterday for todays match.
TNS – the new saints, pre-match price 4/11, after a few withdrawals and a couple of failed bets, my pot dropped to £18.
I log onto bet365 @ 19.56 having lost track of time, tried getting on @ 4/7 then my tinterweb connection died, got back on, saw the price @ 4/6, i thought – ” i’ll have some of that ” – bet365 lost the feed so all bets suspended ( I was screaming at my laptop at this point ). Finally got a price from them 31 minutes into the game @ 8/11. Dropped my £18 on it. ten minutes later 1-0 boooom. 2-0 shortly after halftime, mini-wobble on 88′ when they conceded one, but hey, thats how it works out sometimes.
I’m now with £31 in my pot. Thank god for unstable internet connections.

  279. deanotron 10 years ago

What happens when a game is stopped like the llodudn game, do I get my money back?

  280. Gamblor 10 years ago

Does anyone bet with ColossusBets? I don’t understand their jackpots. You can’t win £50k off picking 4 correct scores, surely?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Gamblor, it’s a pool bet so £50,000 is split between all winners and how much you get will then depend on the unit stake. If you are the only person to pick all 4 correct and put on the full £2 stake you will win £50,000. If you’re the only winner and bet £1 you will win £25,000.

  281. Roberto Stirrotto 10 years ago

Cheers Raal, took your Peruvian btts earlier. When realised it wasn’t until tomorrow, bet only btts on your tip tonight. Not great odds, but still a winner.

Opened a new account wae Paddy Power yesterday just to bet your btts tips going forward.

Keep up the good work mate.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Roberto, glad you won mate although my actual advised tip lost. I know some guys are happier with the btts itself and I would say that it is well worth following as I only put up btts and overs as an option when the btts is very short priced.

  282. Barney 10 years ago

    Thx Jack…that makes sense now.

  283. Yesevil 10 years ago

Raal, you misinterpret, when I said Raal’s tips I meant your advice to study as much as possible and don’t do any more than trebles. I would never be so bold as to claim that your tips made me money ;)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

That is a perfectly acceptable explanation Yesevil and no further legal action will be taken mate ;)

  284. Shaun tanner 10 years ago

    Team goals series. Bet 1.

    Atletico GO v Boa 11.30pm

Atletico GO over 1.5 team goals 5/4.

    • Jordan 10 years ago

Locked this in before Shaun! Like the look of Parana over 1.5 too.

  285. Barney 10 years ago

I hope i dont irritate anyone…but could someone please explain how to cover a bet?

    • ginger 10 years ago

      Barney

      Throw a blanket over it!
      LOL

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Ginger your advice is acceptable for full cover.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Place your bookies slip on the floor and throw a towel over it…..

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Barney, you can do full cover, part cover or even cash in – depends what you’re on and who with. An easy example is if you were waiting on Team A for an accumulator Back Team B not to lose as long as the stake needed to do so still left you with a substantial win.

  286. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Thought Huracan was a 10.30 KO, no corners yet but just went small stakes huracan rt5 15/8 & smaller stakes on RT7

Raal can u give me some advice pls staked 25 on glentoran game 02.5 at 4/6. Ht 1-1 cash out 32 under 2.5 was 7/2 I didn’t think it was worth backing that for £7.50 as expected another goal and such a small profit . Would you let the bet ride or took the poultry 7.50 guaranteed return?

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Jef, you staked 25 to win 41.67 so with under 2.5 available at 7/2 at half time I would have staked approx £7 on that to see a return of either £31.50, almost break even, or £41.67 a profit of over £9.

So after all is said and done, wil thee be any late night tips tonight?

  289. Wato 10 years ago

Mxc that’s exactly the reason I fancied the btts to score in that game so I’m on that too but didn’t have time to put up the detail so hopefully this is comes up for us if your on it too and anyone for a late night interest or an opportunity to hit the refresh balance button in the morning lol :)

Football betting has a lot to do with probability theory. Since a couple of weeks I changed my approach to it from going with feeling and general thoughts to careful calculation (or estimation) of chances based on stats, odds and all the other info available (like the tips on this site) in order to find value bets, and that seems to work out better.

Two thoughts for tomorrow’s Belgian second division:

-bookies give Eupen an approximate chance of 40% to win to nil (odd 2.48). Overround is around 10%. Based on the available data, I’d say it is slightly higher, say 50% (odd 2.00). Why? Eupen has won to nil in their last four home games, and H2H points in the same direction. Aalst however has scored 5 in their two away games of the season they are on a good run), but three of those against a terrible Dessel side. Hence the bookies 2.48, which still seems generous. That makes it a value bet (1.24) that’s worth a small stake.

-bookies give WOLUWE-ZAVENTEM 51% chance to score +1.5. Overround is around 8%. WOLUWE has scored 6 out of 4 however (2 of them over 1.5 team goals). Dessel has lost every game so far, and in three of those they took at least 1.5 goals. No important injuries, so 51% seems too low, around 60% might be better. Value around 1.5, worth a bigger stake.

Especially the second bet (>= 60%) seems interesting on the long run (provided my estimations proof to be correct, and that’s the point of it of course), since that would mean I end up with winning 60 bets out of every 100 bets (that are moreover interestingly priced by the bookies). It’s obvious that statistics works better when there is more data available, but the last couple of weeks have been a fruitful test run of the system anyhow.

Hope this makes any sense, as it is stating the obvious really. All best.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Maurice, it’s not an exact science but looking at stats and form can’t do anything but help. My unders/overs double on Monday was taken purely on stats and of course won.

    • Monsieur Maurice 10 years ago

It sure isn’t, but that’s the point of statistics of course. All I want to say really is that when the season draws to the end, each possible event will have occurred a certain number of times. The sooner you’re able manage to make out what this number approximately is going to be, you can use it in order to determine the value of bet. But there are so many variables out there that it is still necessary to have that little extra good tipsters have (and I don’t).

    Portuguesa v Joinville 00.30

    BTTS 4/5

  292. nathan ufton 10 years ago

just read someones post about Huracan, have to say the thought had crossed my mind as they’ve come good for me once or twice in the past. I saw their price yo-yoing in-play after a few mins, thought, sod it. dropped a £20 on it. 14 minutes in 1-0 up, with cashout @ £36.60, i’m tempted tbh, but we’re now on 31 minutes and judging by the in-game graphics, huracan seem to be on a mission to win, i’ll stick with it till hlftime, hopefully theyre still winning by then.

  293. MonLosBlancos 10 years ago

The bet placed for £800,000 that Scotland votes NO is the nearest to a sure thing as you can get almost as certain as Raal’s Joshua boxing tips.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

MonLosBlancos, it’s looking like a no vote but there has been a shift towards yes and of couse loads undecided. No leader Alistair Darling guest editing the Daily Record on Thursday and Alex Salmond doing the same on Friday so that will be interesting.

I think I’ll have a dabble on your Atletico Go goals Shaun

    • Alan 10 years ago

I also like the look of BTTS. I was looking earlier and it was 10/11, now down to 8/11. So I’m going BTTS + over 2.5 match goals @ 5/4 with William Hill.

Knowing the JP Trophy can be a minefield I went with a speculative £2 acca tonight

    Cheltenham
    Crawley
    Coventry
    Preston
    Notts Cty
Fleetwood – shortest odds let me down !

    £2 would have returned £130

Need to reduce the teams and up the stakes a little me thinks? Advice?

    Back a Coventry win @ 6/4 *****WIN*****
or even Coventry to qualify @ 8/11. *****WIN*****

  297. GeorgeK 10 years ago

    Right, on this hurcan game…
Pre match i had £35, did belgrano not to keep clean sheet for £25 and £10 on huracan goal both halves.
First one csme in so i put all returns on over 1.5 huracan goals. I can now cash both bets in for £53 at half time, or wait it out and one more huracan goal means £130 return…
    Advice!?

    • nathan ufton 10 years ago

i cashed out my £20 on huracan for £39. it seems sportivo are presseing for an equaliser. a second goal, i think its not gonna happen, it just looks like that kind of game. i may be wrong.

  298. Craig Alves 10 years ago

£6.13 from 3/4 on the trebles off SJ free fiver bet so deciding to go with a single a day as their not the best for games and markets. Deciding to go Viktoria Zizkov v Slavia Praha in the Czech cup and over 2.5 gls at 4/5. Zizkov top the 2nd division and after 3 home games this season they won 2-1 drew 1-1 & won 3-0 last game. Slavia sit 2nd in the top league and their 3 away games have 2-1 in all 3, 1 win 2 defeats. Both games went overs last rounds and last H2H was 3-2 in a friendly in January to SP at home.

  299. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Huracan RT3 5/1 & RT5 16/1 definitely worth small stakes, £2 on RT3 & £1 on RT5 as double/triple corners could easily happen even though they are 1 up at HT, Belgrano lead 1-0 on corners

  300. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Yesevil, well done with your bets sir! :)

Mr F if you duplicate again, you will have to go the naughty step. I don’t make the rules.

  302. BusinessmanNL 10 years ago

Atletico Go’s topscorer and 2nd goalscorer (J. Vicosa & A. Luis) are both out for the game. Didn’t have time to post it earlier, sorry. Still I believe in Shaun’s ability, let the goals come in!

  303. GeorgeK 10 years ago

£300 on atletico go over 1.5 … come on shaun!

  304. Jordan 10 years ago

I’d hold out from anybody going in play on the Parana game. Pitch is wetter than a submarine’s number plate!

  305. GeorgeK 10 years ago

**not a randomly big show off staker by the way! I do a lot of £10 to £1000 challenges and am currently sitting on £300 so heres hoping!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

GeorgeK, put up the bets – they’re always good to follow. Hoping to do one on the site soon where we’ll give the first person involved to reach the target £1k cash.

  306. madmanRAB 10 years ago

Bad night but low stakes means no harm done! I’ve learned a lesson.. never back same team in two bets.. Preston! Trying a different approach as it was no night to pick winners
7 Team Over 1.5 match goals LOSE
    Crewe vs Rochdale 0-3 YES
    Accrington vs Carlisle 1-3 YES
    Barnsley vs York 2-0 YES
Notts County vs Mansfield 2-0 YES
Peterborough vs Leyton Orient 2-3 YES
    Preston vs Shrewsbury 1-0 NO
    Scunthorpe vs Chesterfield 2-0 YES

Unlucky raal with your btts and O2.5 in N.I, no goals at all in second half :( Look forward to peru tmoro

  307. GeorgeK 10 years ago

Id definately follow that mrf! Im relatively successfull at them, i average at least once a month with a daily deposit of £10, unless im in a challenge and obviously won’t deposit so not too bad.
This atletico go bet seems to be turning sour and csn cash in for £86, probably let it run it course so may be up tomorrow for the nee challenge!

  308. Andy M 10 years ago

On your over 1.5 Atletico goals Shaun so hoping they wake up this second half haha

  309. Craig Alves 10 years ago

Paul doing 1st person to get it will have people just coming on doing 4 draws and hoping to get lucky and win a grand out of it will it no

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Craig, you’re assuming there won’t be rules or restrictions. That’s not how the challenge works anyway. Just wait and see.

    Team goals series. Bet 1.

    Atletico GO v Boa 11.30pm

Atletico GO over 1.5 team goals 5/4.

    LOST!!!

Sorry everyone just got on my computer, not a great start to the series, seems me and Brazil don’t get along.

I will try my best to pull it back though, as always. Apologies again.

  311. Shaun tanner 10 years ago

I’m going for a late goal in the Parana game for some interest- over 0.5 mg 2/1- 0-0 last 10.

  312. Ash 10 years ago

Thanks for the winner Shaun. Got on that!

    Hope you are well mate.

    4/5 WINNER!!!

Should of started a BTTS series instead. :)

  314. Shaun tanner 10 years ago

Hi Ash, no worries mate. I’m good thanks, hope all is well with you.

Coventry fan right? Bet you were sad to see Wilson leave, nice to see him starting off well at Bournemouth though.

Where do you think Coventry will end up this season? :)

Atletico Tucaman match- over 0.5 mg 11/10 -small bet for interest

A wise man told me never to but on goals in Primera B games but I’m only looking for 1 goal in the last 20 and there’s been quite a few shots at 0-0.

Sorry guys but I’ve got to register again. EE keeps blocking me from gambling sites (content block/age restriction fault) so I have to reset my network settings. EE, the UK’s biggest, fastest (claims to be) and most un/reliable network. If anyone is reading this, stay well clear of these clowns. Constant problems.
