I tipped both to score first at 7-2 and 4-1 respectively but Bayer Leverkusen let down the Super Single while Inverness beat the Top Treble and it was agony as they had last-minute goal ruled out.
Without Inverness double chance I tipped Juventus -1 and Real Madrid -1 as a double and was pleased to see that come up. However, that's two Super Single losses in a row and it would be nice to get back on track tonight.
By coincidence Alty Adam commented that the Super Single could be Diego Costa to score and Chelsea to beat Schalke at 5-4 with William Hill and I'm going with that – as Wednesday's Daily Record column just about mirrors the tip.
Jose Mourinho's side have started the season with four wins and launch their Euro bid at home to the off-form Germans.
I tipped the Blues to be English champions and Costa to land the Golden Boot – and both bets are looking good.
Spain star Costa is beginning to seem cheap at £32 million – it is when you consider the man he replaced cost £50m.
Chelsea have banged in 15 goals with Costa hitting seven and last season strikers Torres, Samuel Eto'o and Demba Ba managed just 19 between them.
Everything's in place for a super season and Mourinho must have a chance of lifting his third Euro crown. The Blues are a best 7-1 with firms such as McBookie.
Schalke have made their worst start to the season for 46 years and I can't see anything but a home win tonight. The Blues are 1-3 with McBookie and I like Chelsea minus one at 10-11 with Paddy Power.
It's difficult to ignore Costa at 7-2 with Paddy Power and bet365 to score first and a less risky bet is Costa to net 20-21 with bet365.
Elsewhere Man City travel to a Bayern Munich side who have started the season slowly after their country's World Cup success. City won 3-2 in the Allianz Arena last season and could notch a point at 10-3 with bet365.
Athletic Bilbao are a nice price at 21-20 with William Hill to beat Shakhtar Donetsk and PSG can win away to an Ajax who have also been struggling.
PSG are a tad on the short side at 3-4 (various) but have the firepower to succeed. Super Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 7-2 at Coral to bag the opener and he's tough to ignore.
Roma can ease to a home win against a CSKA Moscow side who have lost their last four away Champions League ties and who are missing star man Alan Dzageov.
The Italians are back in the big time and made a big statement at the weekend when key players Francesco Totti, Juan Iturbe, Gervinho were rested for the 1-0 win against Empoli as the Champions League was made the main priority. Roma are no bigger than 4-7 at Ladbrokes and it's rising star Mattia Destro who is first-scorer favourite at 9-2 with Paddy Power.
On the domestic front there are three games in England – Blackburn v Derby and Nottm Forest v Fulham in the Championship and Fleetwood v Barnsley in League One.
The Blackburn game should produce plenty of goals and both to score pays a best 7-10 at Ladbrokes. Double with promotion-chasing Forest who should add to Fulham's misery with a win at the City Ground.
Faltering Fulham haven't recovered from last season's relegation and have conceded eight goals in their last two away league games.

All Good things come to an end and that has been the case with my beloved Parnu! I think I posted them 9 or 10 consecutive matches and every match delivered! I’ve stayed away from then recently and in hindsight was the right thing to do as only one of their last 6 matches have seen over 3.5! Be wary of basing any Yes/No bets purely on the Polls because Yes are louder and more grassroots, No’s private/reluctant to say so in case it looks Unpatriotic. Also this isn’t like a general election – pollsters don’t have a large historic databank to compare/correct current data.

I’ve been researching a lot into corners and also the underdogs in games to grab a goal. I’ve been doing a lot of over 6 team corner bets and Team over 0.5 goals and they have been very successful so far.
Tonight I’ve found a few that may interest some. Ajax look decent value to score at home, they’ve failed to score in only 7 of their last 65 home games (I only counted the last 65 games so the stats may be better the further you go back also) and have scored in 7 of their last 8 Champions League home games, the one exception being Madrid although they did score against them the following season. They are very capable of scoring against a PSG team that are obviously full of talent but also don’t mind giving a goal away in away games, especially with the likes of David Luiz swinging boots at things.
Ajax over 0.5 team goals – 1/2 William Hill
There is a number of other bets that I’m thinking of having but along with the Ajax one this is another that stands out to me. Porto over 6 corners at 4/7 seems to good value to me against a BATE team that will most probably be playing on the back foot at Porto. Porto’s home form is very good conceding hardly any but not scoring too many. So if they’re happy to settle for 1 or 2-0 win then I expect to see some corners as they try and break BATE down slowly.

Schalke have not scored in their 4 games against Chelsea, but both teams to score could be worth a bet tonight. Schalke last four games have seen this bet land. Chelsea last two games have been won 4-2 and 6-3 and they also conceded to Burnley making 3 of their 4 games this season seeing both team score. It is odds against across the board and 6/5 Boylesport.
In the goal scorer market It seems everyone is on Diego Costa and rightly so if you can get the 20/21 at Bet365. For me the value lies in finding a Schalke scorer and Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored 12 goals in 18 league games last season, and is off the mark this season. Bayern Munich v Manchester City (Kick off 7.45pm)
There’s not much point going into detail about the strengths and weaknesses of these sides as you will all be very familiar with them. There are doubts about the participation of Arjen Robben but I’m taking this with a pinch of salt – Bayern know that this game is vitally important for them to kick start their season and get a lead over what is likely to be their closest Group opponent and with Ribery definitely out I expect to see Robben playing. Bayern lost Badstuber to injury at the weekend and are already missing a number of other players (mostly on the defensive side of the ball) so I expect them to try to simply outscore Man City tonight which is going to lead to an open high scoring game in my opinion. If you look at Man City in Europe they tend to get dragged into high tempo, high scoring games. All of their Group matches last season had at least 3 goals and with the defensive issues that Bayern have I fully expect City to score tonight.
Last season, City won here 2-3 when Pellegrini famously didn’t realise that another goal would have won them the Group and I’m expecting another high scoring game tonight.

Roma v CSKA Moscow (Kick off 7.45pm)
The other match in the “Group of Death” features a Roma side who did really well last season and have made some shrewd signings to improve their squad for this year. They’ve started this Serie A season in great style with 2 wins from 2 without conceding a goal and they have the efficient look from last season that saw them get so close to Juventus. I fancy them to win Serie A this year with Conte leaving Juventus and to have a good run in the UCL. Their opponents CSKA have a slight fitness advantage having started their domestic season earlier than Roma but quality wise they still are far too inconsistent to pose any kind of threat to the better sides in the competition. They still have a number of players who can produce a moment of magic so I wouldn’t totally rule them out of scoring but they are going to come up against a machine tonight that is going to be far too much for them.
Given the importance for Roma to win home and away against CSKA given their Group opponents I fancy them to push hard tonight and with all of CSKA’s Group games last year having at least 3 goals I’ve had –

Champions League Top Goalscorer
With doubts over the mental and physical fitness of Cristiano Ronaldo and what seems like a different role in the Barcelona side for Lionel Messi there are some decent opportunities to cash in on the top goalscorer market. These 2 head up the market but take out a massive percentage when you consider how easy it is to pick up an injury (they both get more than enough attention from defenders to get hurt) and whilst we obviously wouldn’t want that to happen I like a couple of players to give us a good run. When betting top goalscorers it’s really important to identify players that are capable of scoring 2 or 3 in a game quite easily and in the 2 players below I think we have that.
Robert Lewandowski @ 11/1 with Bet365 and I still wouldn’t put anyone off him at 10/1 with Ladbrokes, William Hill and various smaller firms but at a bigger price, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored 10 goals in 8 UCL games last season and can be expected to be the focus of PSG’s attack once more this season. They are in a Group with Barcelona, APOEL and Ajax and it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world to see them top the group although a reverse forecast with Barcelona is pretty much guaranteed. Clearly, if they finish 2nd they are going to have a harder tie in the next round but I feel they are set up to score (and potentially concede) quite a few this season and Zlatan is going to see this year as one of his last opportunities to win the UCL with PSG.
My second selection, Neymar is far too big a price when you see that Messi is trading around 4/1. Watching a few Barcelona games so far this season he is becoming a focal point of their attack and Messi, whilst out of this world, is looking more and more to create goals for his illustrious partner rather than feel that he has to do it himself. Neymar scored 4 in 10 games last season and Messi scored 8 in 7 games but I don’t think Barcelona saw the best of him as he adjusted to European football and had the pressure of a home World Cup on the horizon. Now he can relax and just play his football we are seeing what he’s truly capable of and 33/1 is way too big a price with the expectation that Barcelona go well in the competition.
Although they are drawn in the same Group I see both of these sides getting to the Quarter Finals as a minimum and in all likelihood at least one in the Semi Final/Final which should give us a good run. For what it’s worth PSG at 16/1 are my idea of a lively outsider to win the competition but with the uncertainty over whether they finish 2nd in the Group and could get a horror last 16 tie I’ve given them a swerve.
Can i be reasonable and ask to please only add 1 ‘BOOM’ line to ur posts … As we are all adults n 6 is a bit over kill!

I’ve been researching a lot into corners and also the underdogs in games to grab a goal. I’ve been doing a lot of over 6 team corner bets and Team over 0.5 goals and they have been very successful so far.
Tonight I’ve found a few that may interest some. Ajax look decent value to score at home, they’ve failed to score in only 7 of their last 65 home games (I only counted the last 65 games so the stats may be better the further you go back also) and have scored in 7 of their last 8 Champions League home games, the one exception being Madrid although they did score against them the following season. They are very capable of scoring against a PSG team that are obviously full of talent but also don’t mind giving a goal away in away games, especially with the likes of David Luiz swinging boots at things.
Ajax over 0.5 team goals – 1/2 William Hill
There is a number of other bets that I’m thinking of having but along with the Ajax one this is another that stands out to me. Porto over 6 corners at 4/7 seems to good value to me against a BATE team that will most probably be playing on the back foot at Porto. Porto’s home form is very good conceding hardly any but not scoring too many. So if they’re happy to settle for 1 or 2-0 win then I expect to see some corners as they try and break BATE down slowly.

Both of Bayamon’ games in the competition have seen over 4.5 goals. Both of these games were away games for Bayamon, but they clearly have a lack of class against their other opponents in the group, losing 6-1 at America’ home ground, and 5-0 against Comunicaiones, who America drew 1-1 with away.

Tom, if soccerway is correct, Bayamon have only played 2 games since the 17th April. America have gone off the boil a bit and may field a weakened team, but for them to be 8/5 for four or more goals and Bayamon’ two games in the competition suggests over 3.5 to be very reasonable.
I looked at the Espana game but didn’t like the fact the last h2h ended 1-1.
If America field the likes of Peralta who scored for Mexico in the World Cup, you’d have to suggest goals.

I just use soccerway Jordan, know about Huachipato from betting on SA teams before the WC so never had to do research for them but always after the break it’s a learning curve from what teams get/concede corners again. Gremio and Lobos buap seem to be the best so far
