Tavernier_Rangers

I'VE followed three Saturday Super Single winners with two losers so it's time to bring back the shortlist and see if we can work together to get it back on track.

Friday and Saturday Super Singles have already been posted after I decided to take early prices on Hearts and Rangers – and already the markets have been affected.

At least 5pts will go on two Rangers bets which leaves me 5pts to play with – and I'll be looking to put up another 1pt Super Single, 1pt or 2pt Top Treble, 1pt homes and 1pt both teams to score treble.

I don't advise risking to lose more than 10pts on one day but could make an exception only if the Friday bets on Hearts come up.

So here is the Saturday shortlist. This is put together with my first look at the weekend coupon, taking into account form and stats but not team news. All picks are evens or above.

Anyone who has reason not to like one of these teams or bets should let us know why.

ABERDEEN not to lose v Celtic

    Walsall win & btts 100/30 b 365
    Good super single
doncaster to get a goal with change of manager
    Boost

If I’m to put all these shortlist on an Acca what will be the total odds

  3. jazza bairn 9 years ago

    Really fancy 2 mr f…
Morton I think will finish quite high up this season. They should beat Dumbarton who looked a bit short when I watched them few weeks back.
Also dunfermline minus 1 is dare I say it a stick on certainty

  4. WasClueless 9 years ago

Walsall a good shout -I know you tipped them last week from what I read they were very unlucky and it was “one of those days” … Doncaster have only scored 3 all season. How about > 2.5 TGS Ajax at 5/2 against a seemingly poor Twente side??

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

WasClueless, haven’t looked at Euro games yet.

  5. stagger 9 years ago

MrF, unless my eyes deceive me, Wycombe are at home to Plymouth on Saturday?

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

stagger, it should be Wigan – sound so similar.

    • james 9 years ago

mr. f…, what is ur saterday’s list of super 7 2pt bets

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

james, not sure what you’re asking re super 7 2pts?

  6. stagger 9 years ago

Oh I see now. It’s Port Vale v WIGAN, I think he means?

  7. Gaffer 9 years ago

    watford v SWANSEA 31/20 ?

Think they’ll be too strong for watford especially on the counter.

  8. WasClueless 9 years ago

Im Blaze – I make the SS Shortlist Acca 820/1 on 365 … I will risk £1 on it !!

  9. tiptopterry 9 years ago

    Charlton to BT rotherham19/20

  10. tiptopterry 9 years ago

Out of your picks Mr f I like Walsall to BT Donny esp after there shick defeat on Saturday and with Mr dickov being sacked

  11. yup 9 years ago

Aberdeen not to lose v celtic
Half time draw full time celtic
    for me
No value in celtic just to win
    Dunfermline looks good.
    Hibs -1. At 1/1
They are due a good win .

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

yup, Hibs could be a shout but Alloa had a decent win last week.

  12. WasClueless 9 years ago

MrF .. so many games to look at!! Picked the Ajax one based on info in the RFO … I have watched parts of the last couple of their games and they are scoring fairly freely … El Ghazi as an ATGS will be one of my bets … Twente are conceding a lot! They conceded 4 to ADO who Ajax scored 4 against!!

  13. Redofheaven 9 years ago

Word of caution on Forest. They lost Antonio but made good signings in Nelson Olivera, Ryan Mendes and Johnny Williams.

  14. Jim B 9 years ago

I think Aberdeen at 3/1 for the win is very big. Celtic will never be more beatable. Without Van Dijk they are weak at the back. Scott Brown and Charlie Mulgrew have had tough weeks with Scotland and Aberdeen have had two weeks to prepare. But not to lose is a good safe option.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Jim B, I think Aberdeen have a chance but remember last season they lost all four to Celtic including one against 10 men in injury time at Pittodrie.
I’d keep the draw on side. Aberdeen have had players away too although not as many as Celtic.
As far as van Dijk is concerned he was good but not great and it will be interesting to see how he fares at Southampton.
Blackett and Simunovic look two decent defensive signings.

Lincoln city 11/10 at home to boreham wood bet365

MrF-1 I like and think u should have a look at is Oldham vs Peterborough over 2.5goals. This pays 21/20@bet365 and as happened in 9 out of the last 10 h2h the other finishing 1-1.

  17. Alex walker 9 years ago

Rangers now only 2-1 minus 3 bet365. -4 is 4-1. Started at 13-2 yesterday. There must be loads of cash on them at the moment.

Mr F, I do agree. But Aberdeen are much better side this year. Only losing one goal this season albeit to lesser opposition. Celtic must be laughing getting 11.5m for him. He was better than SPFL but no where near that. Their new signings are good but will take a while to bed in. Due ti be a cracker anyway!

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Jim B, Aberdeen need to have the belief. They also started last season well until they played Celtic.

  19. Sean Ireland 9 years ago

I like the odds on a Charlton win at home to a very poor Rotherham @ Evens Skybet may be better elsewhere haven,t checked.Im a little surprised they havent your list anyway ill explain my reasoning, Charlton have only lost once so far from last 7 all comps and have won both home lg games beating the high flying Hull and Qpr {their only defeats} and have conceded just once at home, scoring twice in each of those wins.
Rotherham sit bottom won 0 drwe 1 lost 4 conceding a lg high 13 times. Evens looks a gift from the bookie in this one Mr F and expect them to at least make your homes list ;)

  20. kriscy 9 years ago

how about kane to score and tottenham to win+over2.5?

  21. Jim 9 years ago

We are a better team than last season. First goal is so important for us. We have to put a little doubt in Celtics minds.

Forest Green -1 for an ss surely. I bet on them every week.

  22. tiptopterry 9 years ago

Sean Ireland totally agree I was expecting Charlton to be 8/13

  23. Tim 9 years ago

Upping my stakes a lot this weekend but will only be going on

Rangers and BTTS @ 3.25 and
    Rangers to Nil @ 1.7

11% profit going all out to take advantage of the potential profit

  24. MiniDuff 9 years ago

Dunfermline Over 2.5 Team Goals (29/20) is the bet I’d be most confident in. Have only failed to cover this in one game this season, away to the meanest defence in the league so far. Ayr have conceded twice in their last 3 games and Dunfermline have the best attack by far.

  28. Alva Glen 9 years ago

Everton/Chelsea and Man.U/Liverpool any thing can happen in these games but think Merseyside teams are the value bets.

Mr f I’ve noticed William Hill shop coupon prices differ in price with online prices quite a lot I like the look ov rangers to score 3+ this week @5/6 think its a great price and a lot betta than online prices anywhere else I appriciate prices can shorten after coupons r printed if a teams being backed but I’ve been checkin this particular coupon out for a few weeks n u can get sum value by puttin ur bets on in shop the other week man city were 1/5 to score 2+ against Watford but 2/5 in shop big difference! Rangers are best price 1/5 online anywhere to score 2+ tommorow but 2/7 in store big difference if ur puttin big amounts on! Just an observation good luck with ur super singles for sat mr f

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Wattie, almost always online prices are better but there will be exceptions.
