MASTER SINGER was off tune and my second selection was a loser.
Well done to all the winners and November is now 8.14pts down.
Sizing Tennessee has three rivals here but looks the standout horse. This season from two runs he has proved a match for Black Corton and would have beaten that horse last time out but for falling at the second last.
Ywo runs ago Sizing Tennessee was beaten 3 1/4 lengths by Black Corton off level weights, last time out Sizing Tennessee was receiving 8lb and was in front and going better than Black Corton who was a tired horse looking at the jump at the last.
It wasn’t a bad jump by Sizing Tennessee, he just got a bit close. Those two runs are really big pieces of form, main rival Sternrubin is higher rated but jumped poorly. Sizing Tennessee looks the horse open to more improvement and is clearly the horse to beat especially when you see what Black Corton did at Cheltenham last Saturday.

Star Tackle is another of my selections that didn’t complete last time as he unseated when going well when expected to run well by connections. He looks a natural chaser from his point to point days and came third beaten a length by Neon Wolf who is sadly missed after being put down. I honestly think if jockey and horse remain intact then they win.
Antony would be my second best bet of the day. He won the Sodexo Gold Cup here at Ascot last year and in that same race here this year he finished a very creditable fifth after the saddle slipped and was eased down. His first time cheekpieces here aren’t a surprise as they should help him jump straighter.
