I LANDED one one winner on Friday so a 0.5pt profit on the day and October is now 12.06pts down.

Well done all winners and let's go for a successful Saturday.

Newbury 2:15

Frontiersman may be a bit hit and miss but he is the class horse of the race. Saying hit and miss may be a bit hard as he does run his races well for a horse blind in one eye. That's probably why he hangs a bit but he is still the class of the race. The Group 1 Coronation Cup at Royal Ascot is the standout piece of form, last time out he handled the ground well and the doubters did start believing he could handle softer conditions.

Cheltenham 4:20

Alcala really is impressing every time he runs. Last time out he was so impressive when running against 1-3 favourite Finian's Oscar, we will never know if Alcala would have won if he hadn't slipped on the bend but I thought he would have. Connections think he would have won but either way it was still a very eye-catching run, he jumped brilliantly and travelled really well. At home he looks good and going down does seem to have upset him and he should be really hard to beat here. Out of all the Nicholls horses I got to see Alcala did catch my eye.

Your point staking tells you why your 118 points down , at those prices surely ew singles doubles and a treble be more advisable ??? Altho I do understand that one winner just about puts you level

      • billy boy 12 months ago

Must be about a quid per point otherwise it’s a mental way to punt trying to hit a big price to break level more losers then that’s near impossible to get in front.
