IT'S semi-final day at the WTA Finals in Singapore and two former champions go head to head.
Maria Sharapova, the winner in 2004 and current 7-5 favourite for glory with Boylesports, takes on 2011 champ Petra Kvitova who scraped through despite winning just one of her three group matches.
Sharapova won all three of hers and is 2-5 at Ladbrokes for victory and 15-13 at Marathonbet to progress in straight sets against the Czech underdog chalked up at 9-4 by Coral.
The other match sees Garbine Muguruza, making her first appearance at the Finals, look to continue her fine form of five consecutive top-10 wins. She is 8-15 at Boylesports to see off Agnieszka Radwanska, who has lost four in a row to the Spaniard and is 15-8 at Marathonbet to end that losing streak.
At the Swiss Indoors, Rafa Nadal hit back from a set and a break down to oust Marin Cilic yesterday and now tackles Richard Gasquet while the other semi-final sees Roger Federer take on Jack Sock.
There's second-round action from the European Championship darts, featuring Gary Anderson against Simon Whitlock and Stephen Bunting versus Dave Chisnall.

Jordan it means it should be stopped in the first round , round 1 is classed as 0 if that makes sense mate . A stoppage in round 2 would be under 1.5 and so forth

Ronda Rousey will face Holly Holm on the 14th of November. Rousey has fought 6 times in the UFC with 5 of those fights ending in the first round. Her last 4 fights have totaled 1 minute and 5 seconds. Basically there is nobody in the league of this woman who could probably make most men cry. Holly Holm is undefeated 9-0 (only 2 of those in the UFC) but has fought a bunch of nobodies in her time. Prices I’ve looked at.

Morning Guys, Darts Afternoon Session
The game of the session for me is the battle of St Helens between Bunting and Chisnall. These two are both premier league players but need a good run here, in the grand slam and the Worlds, as they could start slipping down the rankings. Bunting won in the Premier league 7-3, while Chizzy got revenge in a 7-1 hammering. In both those games there was 6 maximums in the match. This is now best of 19 legs and I can see at least 15, so if they both hit their stride than O9.5 maximums looks on at 4/6 Skybet.
In the opener I think Rowby-John could see off big John Henderson at 11/10 various who beat Thornton. RJR only averaged a 84 average compared to Henderson’s 96 but they were both dodgy on the doubling. This year as been slow for Rodriguez compared to last year were he played superb in the Grand slam, beating Lewis 5-2 and faced Barney in the World championships. I again suspect we will see at least 15 legs again meaning Rowby-Jones has enough legs to cover his maximum line set at 3.5 at 1/1 Coral. He got two in ten legs beating Kist (who missed D12 for a 9darter). He reeled off 5 legs in a row and if he does that again and finds his rhythm, he could put up at least 4 maximums.
The final match of the session sees world Champion Gary Anderson face Simon Whitlock. Anderson as been struggling recently but a recent tour win as him back in form at the business end of the season and he averaged 96.42 against Dolan who’s slow pace could have troubled Anderson. Whitlock needs a big finish to the season as he is desperate to get back in the Premier league. He did averaged 95.85 against the veteran Caris.
Whitlock is a former European Champion and he went out in 12 darts twice and a 13 darts in his win against Caris. He will need to do that this afternoon with Anderson’s scoring power. If Whitlock plays like he did yesterday than this could be a thriller, Anderson scoring power could be crucial in giving him an extra dart at the double, to win the match. I will take him O5.5 maximums at 1/1 Skybet.

IMO when it gets to the longer formats, 10+ legs, this is when the cream starts rising to the top. Chisnall has overcome opponents in the past from big losing positions including Keegan Brown and today’s opponent Bunting.
Anderson has a very accomplished throwing action and is one of the most prolific maximum scorers on the circuit. Whitlock is also a big 180 hitter but Anderson should edge the contest over the length.

RJR didn’t turn up unfortunately and an average of 73 you would struggle to win down the local pub. The battle of St Helens I thought would be the highlight of the afternoon and so it proved, with the line woefully short has they pounded in 17 maximums. Anderson struggled with his first dart at the T20 bed but still covered his line :)

It is just the one tip for me on tonight’s games and it is the last game of the night between Wade – Klaasen. I tipped Klaasen to beat Barney as he been playing well on tour and Barney was on the slide. James Wade is a tough opponent a steady scorer and prolific on his doubles.
Klaasen is tempting at the odds, he averaged 97.85 and checked out at 46% compared to Wade who averaged 88.66 it was is checkouts at 60% which won him the game. Wade has a superb H2H against Klaasen, so that worries me backing Klaasen. I wouldn’t put anyone off O16.5 legs at 1/1 Betfred, however if Klaasen misses some doubles, Wade will be there to mop up, and that could break Klaasen spirit. The one bet I do like is Klaasen to hit the most 180s at 8/11 Coral.
I tipped Jenkins to hit the most 180s against Wade in the last round and he only hit one maximum. It was still a winning bet until Wade hit his only maximum with his last scoring shot of the match. Klaasen had 4 against Barney his line is set at 4.5, so if he gets 5 I can see this bet landing, 4 maybe enough as I said earlier Wade is a steady ton, 140 hitter.
