IT was two out of two for Paul Petrie last week while Owen Scott was seriously let down by his own team.
So McBookie's Paul still leads the way in the season-long challenge on £66.10 while William Hill's Owen is still to get off the mark.
Here's what the duo are on this weekend:
Owen writes: I'm still looking for my first win of the season and already my team Cumnock and Mr Fixit's side Clydebank have both been blackballed from my trebles after costing me the last two weeks.
It's a shame I can't pick either this weekend though as I was going to put both in my treble in the hope I get off the mark. Both sides are at home to North Region oppsoition and both are 1-40 to win. Surely even I could pick winners at those odds!
The Scottish junior Cup takes centre stage so there are loads of short prices but shocks do happen as Kello beat Dundee NE in the last round of the Scottish Cup and Craigmark defeated Clydebank in the West of Scotland Cup last week. Both those sides were available to back at 14-1 with the unlucky losers at 1-20.
I'm starting my treble in the West Region with a tie between two sides in the same division. I reckon St Anthonys (11-10) can make home advantage count and dump Dunipace out of the Cup.
I'm taking a side who have won the Cup in recent seasons but have found themselves struggling in their own region now but I fancy them to get the win here which may kickstart their season – that's Bathgate at 8-13 as they play host to Blantyre Vics.
For my final selection I'm taking in the all Super League tie of Armadale v Fauldhouse and I'm on the away side at 11-10 to progress to the third round.
Owen's treble
St Anthonys
Bathgate
Fauldhouse
Pays £71.24 to a £10 stake at William Hill
Paul writes: I am sticking to the Scottish Cup this weekend although with so many short-priced selections it does limit the options.
First I am going for Rutherglen Glencairn to beat Culter at 4-9 (evens with Hills). Culter are a shadow of themselves from last season and were recently hammered by Bo’ness in the senior cup.
Next I am taking a punt on Kilwinning Rangers at 2-1 to beat Dalkeith. Rangers are flying at the moment so confidence should be high. While it will be a tricky tie if there is to be a shock this looks a good game.
Finally, I am also going for Irvine Vics to beat Montrose at 17-10 (11-4 with Hills). Both teams are struggling in their respective divisions and I don’t think there will be much between the two teams.

Hurlford tomorrow 1/3 with lads
3/5 on the junior trebles although I’m not as adventurous as you guys in the odds department. So far my 3 winners have came in at 5/2 7/4 and 4/1.
Today’s treble i have opted for
Pollok
Glenafton
Beith
Pays just over 5/2 so nothing exciting but it has a chance.
Hendrie89, our guys have been rubbish this season but you’re right about the prices. I’d rather get a few winners at your prices than a run of losers. Clydebank are 1-40 today and so it will be interesting to see if bookies have priced that correctly. On those odds we should be winning by at least five.
Yeah Clydebank should canter that at those prices what do you think of the performances so far this season. I was Airdrie fan till they went out of the game so took a real interest in the juniors after that.
Last week it was a certainty on paper
Talbot. 6-0
Linlithgow. 5-2 but went behind twice and was 22 after 75 mins had me sweating
Pollok. 3-0
Another treble up today 4 from 6 ain’t to be moaned at :)
A good win for the bankies mr f easy as it comes.
Hendrie89, well done. As easy as it could be even though first goal took a while. Fair play to Lossie who never resorted to any dirty stuff and hardly committed a foul the whole game.
