IT was basically a break-even day although I was confident of doing better.
My Super Single was a Dutch Double and it landed thanks to Ajax and a late recovery from Feyenoord. I won 3.6pts but gave away 0.5pts in cover.
St Etienne beat the 2pts Top Treble by only drawing at home to Dijon and while I could have covered I didn't expect the mustard men to take the lead. And no Middlesbrough and Metz goals beat the 1pt both to score treble.
On Monday we have a big game in the Premier League as Liverpool entertain Man United and I've posted a separate preview which gives reasoning for my Super Singles.
In La Liga it's Eibar v Osasuna and in Serie A Palermo entertain Torino and there's not much else on ahead of Champions League games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dundalk seem to have had a second wind in the League of Ireland with good wins against closest rivals Cork and then Shamrock Rovers. The games are coming thick and fast for the champions and they play their sixth in 15 days at Longford.
Stephen Kenny may rest some players ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie at home to Zenit St Petersburg but they should beat almost relegated Longford who are 55 points behind the leaders.
Dundalk have won on their last six trips to Longford but as they are so short at 1-5 wait to back them on the handicaps if they field a strong side. Kenny will definitely be without injured captain Stephen O’Donnell and Sean Gannon.
Cork must win at St Patrick's to keep their challenge alive and again they're short at a best 1-2 with Coral.
I've decided to go with a treble of Cork, Dundalk to score 2+ and Eibar.

Interesting game and a tricky one to call as Greg has already mentioned.
Liverpool have something pretty special going on with Klopp and I have to say, he’s a breath of fresh air – I haven’t seen players respond to a manager and a manager so obviously enthused by his players in years.
The scenes after Liverpool beat Chelsea said it all and although there are weaknesses in Liverpool’s game, Klopp has them pressing so high, it is difficult for teams to cope with.
It’s not going to be an easy game but I can see Liverpool scoring a couple – what Utd do in return I’m not sure and the manager’s strategies and teactions during the game will be as interesting as the football itself.

Actually, I think all have a decent chance – looking at it logically: if you have over 5.5 bookings you invariably see a red card, if you see a red card, its often a penalty and if you see a penalty its usually a goal so halfway to your BTTS.

used to have a wee cairn terrier mr f walked it to the thorn bar in joansin and back every nite for 12 year or so took about 3 hours even though pubs only 500 yards away, wee soul died an vet telt her indoors its heart packed in doon tae under exercise an that was that got telt nae mare dugs……………..
