I PICKED up my first treble of the month after some near misses. Convincing wins for Shakhtar Donetsk, Ipswich and Coventry landed at 4-1 – but I lost 0.75pts for covering a draw at Ipswich when they led 1-0 or I'd be breaking even.
The both teams to score treble was unlucky with Wolfsburg failing to score at PSV but the two Super Singles were howlin' as Wolves lost at Bristol City without scoring.
It was a particular tough night for goals backers with 10 out of 12 games in the Championship going under 2.5 goals and both scoring in two oout of 12.
Champions League ties pretty much went to plan on Tuesday apart from Atletico Madrid drawing away to Astana and Man City's win at Sevilla surprised some. City notched the only away win and that's worth noting as we tackle Wednesday's ties. Just three games featured both to score and just three went over 2.5 goals. More of the same on Wednesday or not?

We all know what a disaster of a season it’s been for Chelsea on and off the pitch – tonight see’s a must win champions league match, a welcome distraction from what’s been an awful start to the domestic seaaon! The players have come out and publicly backed Mourinho, and like there last home match albeit against poorer oppostionin this competition, im taking them to get back on the goal trail! Plenty of arguments out there for reasons not to back Chelsea tomorrow but given the level support the players have given the manager, I can’t ignore it and feel the bridge will be fully behind them in what is a must win match!

Teams that draw 0-0 should get no points- that’s a novel idea. The trouble is I think they tried this and loads of games finished 1-1 with goals in the last five minutes- a fix.

Liking this treble of Chelsea over 1.5tg,gent v valencia over 2.5 goals, bayern v arsenal over 2.5 goals, 3.86/1@bet365, any thoughts appreciated.
My acca was largely unfruitful with many teams failing to deliver a goal against teams they ought to of got one.
First the negatives:
Blackburn,middlesborough,wolves all failed by one goal.
Positives:
Derby,coventry wins, Huddersfield and Bolton no clean sheet and derby over 9 corners came in too.
Other stuff I’d expected in the Derby game also came right. The race to 5 corners and the overs 3.5 cards was smashed with 8 cards ( including a 2nd yellow for their right back ) – that’s 2 reds in 2 games against Derby from QPR. I also suggested we’d get 8 or more corners – we got 8.
Brighton also dropped points with a draw.
All in all it was a mixed bag from me but the good news was Derby won again, its a particular sweet victory banging another nail in QPR’s coffin. The game was quite even, yes we had more chances but QPR had a real go at us but their chances were severely limited.
Keogh never got on the scoresheet but he did get the assist for Weimann’s goal.
Forsyth rode a tackle early on and on landing, I think he jarred his knee. It looked serious enough to stretcher him off. It was a shame because he looked very lively down that left flank.
Derby switched the focus of attacks down the right and Christie ran down the wing quite a bit more.
Always nice to see Forest lose against a fellow struggler and whilst Rotherham lost again, Preston and Bristol both upped their game and got them valueable wins. This loss to Preston now puts Forest in 19th.
Thorne will be back in the side, no news yet on Forsyth, and Ince might be back.
3 days till D-Day as Derby take on Forest at their ground. This match is always a fiery affair and cards will be plentiful, if the bookies draw the line on cards at 3.5, I shall be on the overs market. They have injury problems, have a shocking level of form and their morale is shot.
From a Rams perspective, I am rubbing my hands. Forest always put in heavy handed tackles, we’ve had many long term injuries from those games and form goes out of the window, its 11x 1v1 battles and I still can’t see Forest beating us, I really can’t. But if they do, and its an IF, Dougie Freedman will save his job – it holds that much weight !! If he loses, he’s gone. Losing managers of this fixture usually lose their job straight after.
Clements form of 8 wins and 2 draws from the last 10 and 1 loss all season, coupled with the best away record in the league must be putting the wind up them. I will be all over the derby win – nothing daft, a straight win, but I will be bolting on an overs on the corners ( possibly as high as 12 or more total ) and if the cards market is pitched at 3.5, I shall drop that in to make a nice treble.

Yesterday’s tip came in. £21.00 paid £30.34. Typical result. 4th plays 5th. 12 corners, 19 shots, 3 bookings = 0-0. So the DoubLe chance paid off with slightly skinnier odds than the home win offered. So for that reason I am going a similar route today on Roma v Bayer Leverkusen.

Apologies I miss red dogs post thought his gripe was with bet365.MR F I’d place a bet on o/0.5fhgs in a game on Sunday it showed up a goal the money was in my account.Went for my dinner came back and picked out another the previous bet still showing in my acc.Once placed my acc showed up minus the bet aswell as the winnings from the previous bet.Then today had Zagreb u/19s to win in an acca only waiting on them all others won or winning then shows on the pitch bit 0-2 but at the bottom where your keeping track of your bet said 1-2 and the stats showed no home goal.Turned out they Olympiakos did score but I wasn’t sure what the right score was.This can lead to much confusion if it was for bigger stakes I’d be through the roof as they fob me off. I’ve taken screen shots of these discrepancies but they never tell me where I can send them.But they have the best markets for my type of bet so stay with them
