THEY say two heads are better than one so let's see if that's correct.

I had a catch-up with Desmond tonight and over a few pints we went through Saturday's card.

Between us we have come up with a Super Single shortlist from the UK matches and Euro 2016 play-offs, a both to score shortlist and I also mention some of the teams he fancies to score 2+.

Remember this list is put together from an initial look at the coupon based on stats and form but not having checked team news. All selections are evens or above. Let us know what you think.

Defiantly like the looks of Falkirk and ayr to score 2+ and Chesterfield and Peterborough yo win

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

bettingman1, Falkirk will probably be too short – I know Desmond likes to pick them both close to evens if possible.

Total agree, the way they have performed in the last few weeks they will defiantly be shorted priced

what do people think of MORCAMBE v Dag & Red ???????

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

Thomas Chambers, I thought it had been postponed.
      Dag & Red international call-ups – honest!

Mr F, according to Futbol24 the Morecambe/Dagenham game was postponed last night (Wednesday) and is set to be played on Saturday. Yes, probably a combination of International call-ups and also Dagenham’s involvement in the JPT against Oxford last night. I know for certain that Coral and bet365 have it priced up for Saturday.

I flagged up the Morecambe/Dag game earlier and at 1/1 or thereabouts mid-table Morecambe look good against the League 2 basement boys. But, as always, team news will have to be investigated.

stagger, just going by what I’ve read – it isn’t listed on live score fixtures or club websites and isn’t in the RFO either.
Remember they have an FA Cup replay to play too and that’s scheduled for Tuesday.
That’s not affected by international call-ups so Daggers couldn’t get it called off but the league game doesn’t seem to be on.

    • stagger 8 years ago

Didn’t know about the replay, Mr F. Seems to me then that the Saturday game may well be off then, specially if it’s not in the RFO or club websites.

      Thanks for info.

Swindon v Scunthrope BTTS is deffo worth a look!

These teams have met 8 times previously and all have been BTTS. 6 of the 8 meetings have seen over 2.5 goals and the last 3 meetings all finished with a 3-1 scoreline!

Wanted to bet on China but all sites have taken live betting on it down? why do the bookies do this? :/

also happened on a chinese cup game yesterday -_-

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

Harry Baines, they take them down because they know they’re going to get hammered.
Also if it’s a one-sided book they have nowhere to go.
Unfortunately they are business not charities.

Thursday tips are up – would love to spend a couple of hours researching the U-21 games but need to crack on with some writing for Saturday.
Have picked out most of my teams but team news and weather will be key factors.
Some Scottish games might go ahead if the rain stops.

Meant to say Nathan Ufton who was well known on the old site especially for his insightful tips on Derby matches has posted something on the forum that’s a great read.
It’s titled “Bank Building from £10 until you run out of luck or courage”.
Exactly why we added the forum – it’s perfect for features like that.
Seems to me people are beginning to find their way about the new site.
Daily tips look like in the main they’re living here and that’s fine.
On the old site chat often got in the way of tips but now they can be easily separated.

As Morecambe v Dagenham (I liked the home win for that one) is definitely off, I quite fancy one in the same league (2) as a main pick.

After taking over from Terry Butcher as Newport manager early in October, John Sheridan’s iffy first three in charge have given way to renewed confidence at the club. They’ve taken seven points from their last 3 games (netting 8 in the process) and are slowly crawling their way clear of the relegation zone.

Accrington have been on my BTTS go-to list for two or three seasons now, and indeed their last 6 home league games have seen both sides scoring.

I can find 20/23 for both teams to score with Coral. 87 pence profit on every pound staked. Not bad really. I think the odds may be a bit thin for the Super Single (or main nap as I like to call it) but I’m on it for sure.

    Accrington v Newport BTTS 20/23
