I THOUGHT it was a tough card on Saturday and that's how it proved.

What I didn't expect was Hull to lose at home to Sunderland and they beat me for my Top Treble and homes fivefold – although the stake is returned for one wrong.

It was two out of three on both goals trebles but Desmond had a better day with two out of three winners. His 2+ double came up at 7-4 thanks to Raith and Portsmouth as did his both to score double at 5-4.

Plymouth were my Super Single but were held at Grimsby when just one more goal would have given them the League Two title at the expense of fierce rivals Portsmouth.

On Sunday there are plenty of big games to look and I've posted a separate preview on Partick Thistle v Rangers and Hearts v Aberdeen.

In the Premier League it's Liverpool v Southampton and Arsenal v Man United. Liverpool have already lost three times to the Saints this season while the Gunners are priced up around evens with United expected to field a weakened team ahead of their Europa League semi-final second leg against Celta Vigo.

And there is of course a full final Championship card with Brighton or Newcastle to be crowned champions, Blackburn, Birmingham or Nottm Forest to be relegated and play-off order to be resolved. We also have the second leg of the League One play-offs.

On the Continent there are big games in Italy, Spain, Germany and France and elsewhere.

Aberdeen were posted as my Super Single last night with reasoning in the preview.

For an early Top Treble I'm looking at three Championship games. Backed by a full house Forest should get the win they need to be safe unless they're hit by nerves. Take fast-finishing Norwich to end with a flourish at home to QPR and backed Brentford to score 2+ against Blackburn. The Bees will probably win as they're on a great run but of course Rovers' need is greater.

I've taken Partick not to lose with Nice at least to draw at Marseille in the late French game.

There is also a both to score treble and a homes fivefold which returns the stake for one wrong.

Remember to check out Welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

And if you're having your first bet with 888sport you'll get treble the odds.

Will be on man united double chance at 20/23
I don’t believe mourinhos mind games and think his team will be close to full strength. Unbeaten in 25 premier games and I don’t see that changing tomorrow.
Also taking united to win at 3/1 against an average arsenal side with nothing to play for.

    • maccathered 7 years ago

I don’t think the bookies would be offering 16/5 mate if mourihno was only playing mind games, your taking 3/1 for Man utd to beat an average side yet man utd are only average thats why they are fighting for their lives to make champions league as are Arsenal.I would be careful for me its a game i would leave well alone.

    • sean ireland 7 years ago

That average team are on 1 hell of an unbeaten streak plus look like they will have 2 trophies come the seasons end,bet you wish liverpool would have an average team like that hey @maccathered

    • sean ireland 7 years ago

Add the community shield they won at the start of the season and theyve done a very average treble, whens the last time that very average Liverpool did that lol

    • Mr Fixit 7 years ago

I’ve added your tips to a comment – Scunthorpe causing problems as usual.

    • maccathered 7 years ago

Very average imo you might win the europa league but you haven’t played anyone of note to get there, also your streak of not losing consists mainly of draws which all in all isn’t that impressive if it were that good you would in the top four.If your counting the charity shield your desperate.

    • sean ireland 7 years ago

Ahhhh macca,Liverpool fc always puts me in mind of an argos tea set,11 mugs and no cups!!! ;)

    • Mr Fixit 7 years ago

You’re better to wait for teams if you don’t believe Mourinho.
Also Arsenal are nine points behind City and Liverpool with 2 games in hand so they have everything to play for.

    Just kicking off
    DC United vs Montreal
4 out last 5 for both teams seen over 2.5 goals.
    DC conceded last 7
    Montreal conceded last 12
Both teams don’t do win to nil (13 and 16 respectively) so hoping for goals again, cue the 0-0 or 1-1
    over 2.5 match goals 8/11
over 3.5 match goals (small stakes) 1.75/1

  3. HullShaker 7 years ago

Heading over to Colombia for a late Night Owl and prices just look way too big here – I may be completely wrong but I just wonder if the bookies have priced this one right…

DEPORTIVO CALI VS. AMÉRICA DE CALI (23.30 KO):

These two have met 3 times already in 2017 with match-goals totalling 3, 6 and 3 – prior to that we have seen 3 more games featuring goals from both sides which gives a positive BTTS record with 5 of the last 6 getting the green light.

With both teams in great form and neither being shy in front of goal, I can’t ignore the prices for the following markets:

    Three selections to consider:

    BTTS…11/10
    ????

    OVER 2.5 MGS…8/5
    ??

    And for any braver souls…

    BTTS BOTH HALVES…22/1
    ?

    Good luck ?

    • obi wan cannoli 7 years ago

lol, the man’s quality is unquestionable! I’ll stay off as Patriotas are usually featured in low scoring games. I almost jumped on just because Hull said it though… almost!

Sorry gents – managed to click on link for the postponed game and read stats from there…can’t even blame drink ?

Philadelphia v New York Red Bulls:
This one kicks off shortly and should be an interesting contest. Philly enter this one in real poor form sitting at the foot of the MLS table. Red Bulls had a poor showing last time out, but a number of key players were rested, including attacking duo Kljestan and BWP. I fancy the attacking pair to run amok today against a really poor Philly defense.

If I get time in a few hours, I’ll write up the A-League grand final too.

    Tips:
    Bradley Wright-Phillips (atgs) @ 1.95 (2PT)
    Over 1 first half goal @ 1.70 (3PT)
    Red Bulls – over 1.5 team goals @ 2.10 (2PT)

    • obi wan cannoli 7 years ago

Apologies looking at odds wrong. BWP odds are actually 2.10 for ATGS.

Tried to post a tip yesterday for the Celtic game but unfortunately for followers it would not allow me to post. It was Boyata to score a header anytime at 20/1 which he did. Anyway forbtomoerow I have a couple of decent bets.

    Partick Thistle vs Rangers

Clint Hill First Goalscorer @ 33/1

    Clint Hill Anytime @ 14/1

    (Above prices with 888sport)

    Arsenal vs Man Utd

Wayne Rooney to score a header anytime @ 20/1

Wayne Rooney to score anytime from outside the box @ 20/1

Good luck if you decide to get on

One from Holland with two teams fighting at either end of the table where relegation contenders NEC host AZ who are looking to get a higher Europa League seed. NEC have been on a poor run and have lost twelve of their last fifteen league games, with two games to play they need every point and hope other results go their way to avoid the drop. AZ’s last 10 Eredivisie have seen both score with 8 seeing over 2.5. I expect that to continue with two sides who see goals regularly and the need for a win from both sides should add to the broth.

    Dutch Eredivisie – 1:30PM

    NEC Nijmegen/AZ Alkmaar BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals @ 17/20 @ Coral – 2 points

Hi all long time follower of the site just don’t get round to posting my tips much will try to much more often. Tip for today is Brentford to gain more corners then Blackburn. I know Blackburn have to push for a win so will be on the attack from kickoff but i feel this will allow Brentford a lot of space on the break plus they will want to put on a show considering its the last game of the season. At home they average the 3rd highest amount of corners per game which compared to Blackburn’s away average is higher therefore i see this as a decent bet.

    Brentford scr evens (Skybet)

2nd bet is Sydney FC to beat Melbourne Victory and under 4.5 goals in the A-League grand final. A few reasons behind this tip. To start with Sydney FC won the regular season not only top but with the most points and highest goal difference in A-League history. Sydney have also beaten Victory in the last 3 meetings and to show the gap in class between the two teams even further Victory finished 17 points behind Sydney come end of the season.

Good luck all with the tips and thanks to everyone who contributes to the site it’s appreciated.

    AUSTRALIAN A LEAGUE GRAND FINAL

they say the team always rises to the top and it certainly has in this case where the best 2 teams in the “regular” season meet in the grand final. Sydney were by far away the best side throughout the year and I expect them to win this but I don’t fancy the prices for a straight win. I do however like the odds for a few other things- cards and goals. Despite being the best 2 sides these 2 were no strangers to a card or 4 in their matches, especially Sydney. There’s been 21 cards in the last 4 h2h between these 2, and it’s not unusual to see lots of yellows and reds in big blue derbys. As has been said already, Sydney have won the last 3 triumphing by a single goal each time and I fancy something similar again, probably 2-1

    Suggested bets
    Over 5 Asian cards 9/10 bet 365
    2-3 match goals 1/1 bet 365

  15. maxxxx 7 years ago

Morning all it is your main man Max here, with my Sunday’s best for you. I had a lovely day at Leicester yesterday and the NAP landing was even sweeter.

In the big race at Newmarket I did put up a E/W selection which landed when it finished 2nd to the well fancied Churchill. Well done John.

I was offered a ticket to the Forest game, but I am going to Anfield to watch my beloved reds take a huge step to Champions league football. I wish Forest all the best and I think they will win. There is no Nap today instead I am diving up my pot on several tips, starting with Forest I believe will win at 8/13 Various.

Liverpool have seen our last 5 home games go O2.5g and I think this will happen again 4/6 Various. I don’t have the advantage of seeing the teams but I suspect Lallana may start and he looks great value at 23/10 Hills. In the Forest game I like Assombalonga at 23/20 Various.

I am leaving the Arsenal – Man Utd game alone, a home win or draw will suit me fine, if I did have a bet it would be on Rooney anytime as his record against Arsenal is amazing and looks likely to start, the price is too big not to have a dabble ;-)

    Max’s Tips

    Forest to WIN (10PTS)
    Assombalonga to score 23/20 (2PTS)
    Liverpool – Soton O2.5mg 4/6 (4PTS)
    Lallana to score 23/10 (2PTS)

    To Score

    Brentford
    Bristol C
    Brighton
    5/6 Boyles (2PTS)

Don’t expect the gung ho approach from Liverpool in this game i fully expect them to be patient as they were in the watford game.Matches between these two tend to be tight affairs as have the last three encounters which have only seen two goals in three meetings again 1 nil will do.

I think anyone wanting to cash in on the championship matches today needs a lot of info regards team news to sway it in our favour.
If Brighton want the title ( they’re away from home and have already seemingly have taken their seat and are already en-route to their summer holidays ). Newcastle could snatch it from them in this last game.
With the top 6 all tied up ( unless Leeds make up a 13? goal difference ), Reading/Hudderfield/Sheff Wed and Fulham MUST be resting players since they have an eye on the playoffs. The only exception today would be the Sheff Wed/Fulham match. – This could be a dry run for a potential match off of what is to come over the next fortnight with both teams surely wanting a psychological edge by winning this match to take into that potential re-match. – btts would still be my choice on that match.

The exciting stuff is at the bottom of the table. I’m inclined to think Birmingham and Forest will grab a solitary point each and Blackburn will get beaten – shame, I’d love to see Forest relegated but we’d then miss the Derby/Forest matches for at least one season, and also with the step-dad supporting Birmingham, it’s as funny as you can imagine it with the entire family giving him cr*p week in week out. Even funnier now my 3 and 5 year old nephews have joined in the fun.

    I shall be having a very tiny £1 on a 4 way I fancy:

Derby and Brentford wins and Birmingham and Forest draw. The 4 way pays about 67/1.

    best of luck folks.

It’s a tough day for sure – I’ll have tips up in a few minutes.

  25. HullShaker 7 years ago

    SUNTHORPE VS. MILWALL:

I was tempted by the draw in the 1st leg but opted for both to score like a fool – with the game set to be tighter than a camels a*se once again, I’ll be backing the 90 minute stalemate:

    DRAW…23/10
    ??

    ****************************

    HALIFAX VS. SALFORD:

As above but with a higher likelyhood of goals – I got the BTTS spot on the 1st leg and without repeating the reasoning, both are far too offensive-minded to sit back for 90 minutes!

    BTTS..5/6
    ????

    DRAW…13/5
    ?

    ****************************

    DRAW DOUBLE…10.88/1
    ?

Best of luck with all bets!

    good evening guys

Federation cup india : The top eight teams from the 2016-17 I-League have qualified for this, one of India’s oldest Cup tournaments. The teams have been divided in two groups namely ‘Group A’ and ‘Group B’.

East bengal vs churchill brothers :
The 2012 Federation Cup winners East bengal will opt for a 4-2-3-1 shape which will see Mehtab Hossain and Rowllin Borges play the roles of holding midfielders whereas the lethal Willis Plaza will be the lone striker. As for Churchill Brothers, they have just one injury concern in Anthony Wolfe. The Trinidadian is carrying a niggle and his inclusion remains doubtful. The 55 year-old former Pune FC coach is likely to go ahead with a full strength squad which means Keenan Almeida, Adil Khan, Rowilson Rodrigues and Seriton Fernandes will form the back four. Brandon Fernandes and Chesterpoul Lyngdoh will continue to operate on the wings in what could be a 4-4-1-1 formation chosen by the 55-year-old coach.
Bet to Consider – East bengal to win

Aizawl fc vs chennai city fc
The newly-crowned league champions are back in action as they hope to start their Federation Cup campaign with a win over cup debutants Chennai City.Khalid Jamil’s men, following a tumultous week that saw them win a historic I-League title and get involved in a controversy over the future roadmap of Indian football, will be desperate to get back on the field and focus on the game once again. They had reached the final of this tournament last year where they lost 5-0 to Mohun Bagan. This time around, Aizawl are a much more confident outfit who will not fear any team that pops up in their path.
Aizawl are expected to line-up in their customary 4-4-2 with Rane playing a free role behind Bayi. Chennai City will be in a 4-4-1-1 with their youthful stars expected to be given a run out. Alfred Jaryan and Mahmoud Al Amna will be the key players for Aizawl who should be aware of Chennai City’s young duo of Nandhakumar and Soosai Raj, who have been playing really well of late.
Bet to consider – Aizawl fc to win

Brentford should win but Blackburn have to go for it so should be goals.
Norwich been on fire recently, especially at home.

Burton have confirmed they’re playing to win this last game to try to leave them on 55 points. They’re playing a team that really has nothing to play for.

    Derby team news:

    unchanged

    Carson
    Baird/Keogh/Pearce/Olsson
    Butterfield/Johnson/Bryson
    Ince/Nugent/Russell

Rotherham are also unchanged, but I do feel this is a game that Derby should win, even though a bad result for either side has no real bearing on the close of the season. Rotherham players are essentially playing for their futures and whilst most of Derby players are already on long contracts, with the chairman swinging the axe on Wednesday by sacking the CEO Sam Rush ( I think over financial mismanagement ), I don’t think anybody with a squad place is safe from the transfer market.

I’m still sticking with Derby and Brentford to win and Birmingham/Forest to draw for a 67/1 £1 acca with bet365. For those who want to add a bit of extra, I would consider adding Burton for the win.

    Good luck folks.

    lugano vs basel
    basel & btts – 5/2

5th lugano in fine form with 5 straight wins host leaders and champions basel who are 21pts clear at the top of the table.
basel always prefered offensive play so conceding is not a major problem for them.
they haven’t lost in their last 7 trips to lugano winning 5 and drawing another two. 6 of these h2h’s have seen both scored…
last 14 h2h games between the teams have seen basel winning in 12 and both have scored in 11…
lugano have not scored just once in last 8 home games.

Can anyone else get there head around this?
At the start of the season I placed a bet on Leeds +21 points to win the Championship which they would of done,
but now Bet365 are saying that all the teams get a handicap so the bet is a Looser.

Maybe I just misunderstood the market but it defiantly wasn’t clear so carful if anyone sees this market again when the new season comes around.

    • Mr Fixit 7 years ago

Everyone team is off a mark in that market so Newcastle would be scratch and every other side given points.
You’ve just understood it I’m afraid.

    • geo 7 years ago

You don’t make sense Mr Fixit. Surely this bet should have won because if you had 21 to their tally they beat everyone else.

    • primetime 7 years ago

Add* – Seems like you are off form today Geo.

    • Mr Fixit 7 years ago

You need know about the handicap market. As I said every team gets points on Newcastle so you have to look at every team’s handicap.
For example Brighton would have finished above Newcastle – and maybe Fulham.
What was Brentford’s handicap? It’s a whole table that has to be done – it’s not Newcastle v Leeds.

    • cockerspaniel 7 years ago

    good evening guys

Bet to Consider – East bengal to win ****************LOST********************

Bet to consider – Aizawl fc to win ******* WON************************

Another great post from yourself @oz777…funny how you choose to comment only after an unsuccessful bet isn’t it?

Clocked you a mile off and only had to read into your post history to see what you were up to…again.

Why don’t you do everyone a favour and either f*ck off or try putting a few tips up – and I don’t mean your mythical hindsight ones either.

      Good luck.

    • oz777 7 years ago

Sorry mate, but you really ARE confusing me with someone else.
I love your tips and have won quite a few bob with them.
I’m sure @mr-fixit will confirm that I’m a fellow Bankies fan
Although, I don’t attend as many games as he does.

    • Mr Fixit 7 years ago

Being a Bankies fan puts you on a pedestal. Doesn’t give you the right to criticise HullShaker though.

    • oz777 7 years ago

Sorry Guys, you’ve misread my post.
When I said, ‘Couldn’t hit a barn door with a tractor’, it was in NO way a dig at HullShaker’s tip.
I was commenting on the both teams failing to score.
Apologies to HS if he thought it was a dig at him. Definitely NOT
The best thing I love about HullShaker’s tips is that he very rarely has two losing bets on the bounce.
I know I can confidently double up on his next bet, if one loses.
So if you misread my comment HS, I can assure you it was in NO way a dig.
And, just so others know how good your tips are, since 25th April I am £315 in profit on YOUR tips alone.
I’m still confused as to who it is I’m supposed to be though???
I’m just plain old Oz fae Clydebank.

Iquique have been a surprise package this last year but I wonder if their Copa Libertadores’ travels and schedule might come back to bite them on the a*se tonight.

All 7 of Iquique’s most recent games have seen both teams netting and with 80% of the last 10 H2H’s seeing the same, I can’t help leaning towards that result despite Antofagasta’s lack of goals in recent games.

Wish I had done that…..he almost scored aswel just before he subbbed. Nothing worse than a player getting injured early in a game

    • wasclueless 7 years ago

Done it a few times on games abroad – tonight he was subbed a good 2mins before they realised!!

Second of the Chilean picks kicks off at 21.15 and looks A-OK for goal-backers…

    HUACHIPATO VS. UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA:

Starting with H2H’s and I know some folk understandably don’t read into them but ,for me (where recent), they often carry a fair bit of weighting in many of the South American leagues – particularly Chile!

Out of the last 7, both teams have scored in 5 with match goals totalling 3-4-1-8-3-8-3-1-4-3 across the most recent 10 stretching back over the last 4 years.

Whilst Huachipato’s last few games look fairly low scoring, a good proprtion were against the ‘better’ sides and show they can certainly hold their own – in the 12 games so far this campaign, I count 36 match goals which equates to a healthy 3 per game.

I know a team that can piss all over that particular bonfire though…Universidad Catolica: 4-4-3-7-7-2-0-3-3-1-5-4-2-5 match goals in successive games and potentially my favourite ‘pet’ Chilean side for goals.

Three selections to consider in a game that I reckon won’t disappoint for goals:

    BTTS & OVER 2.5 MGS…4/6
    ?????

    BTTS 1ST HALF…12/5
    ??

    BTTS BOTH HALVES…7/1
    ?

    Good luck!

AC Milan vs Roma – card before 25:00 (lost)

    Treble 5.18/1 Bet365 LOST

Luck wasn’t on my side today – the NB was looking in great shape with the two previous selections having won and Genk scoring in the first half but a red card in the second hampered their ability to get the crucial goal. Also on the later bet Manolas should’ve been booked for a high challenge but the ref kept his card in his pocket :( Onwards well done all winners

Had good result on Malaga -1’@ Evs and Ramirez anytime@4/5. Could of been better though- backed over 40 booking points in-play. Was 5 yellows and I thought my bet was in, until they scrubbed Guidetti’s yellow (in the small print that they’ve got to be on the pitch for the card to count) unbelievable!!!

    • HullShaker 7 years ago

Evening grayer – to be honest, it’s an early night for me so will be leaving it with the Chilean game – can’t seem to call the Argentine matches at the minute so probably not the best to advise! Good luck though.
