IT'S NO wonder Mr Fixit has disappeared for a few days to play golf on the continent – it's the best way to cope with the withdrawal symptons at the end of the football season.

Once more there's a dearth of matches to get excited about today. One to look forward to is England's U21s versus Paraguay's U23s in the Toulon Tournament (Live on BT Sport at 6.45pm) or there's live football from the Swiss Super League in the shape of FC Basel v Grasshoppers Zurich (Live on BT Sport Europe 7.30pm) – quite a choice eh?

So again in Mr Fixit's absence it's over to you guys to pick out some some winning tips for the day. Good luck!

Morning gents, great day yesterday with wins in the AFC Champions League, Sweden and Estonia. Hoping for more of the same in the AFC Champions League this morning, and that’s where I’ll be paying a visit to…

    Seoul v Urawa

Seoul need to score and win without conceding…the first leg saw them lose at the Saitama but had plenty of missed opportunities, so they can’t afford to waste them today in the home leg. Seoul have only failed to score 2 of their 7 AFC Champions League games so far – one of which was away to Urawa in the first leg. Not only that but they’ve notched on average 2.4 goals per game in the tournament so far, so are very capable of scoring. They’ve won 2 and drawn 1 of their 3 home ties in the competition.

Urawa are a decent outfit though, and don’t write them off…They’ve only lost one game so far in the AFC Champions League but have kept it very tight at the back having conceded only 4 goals in 7 games, which is a fantastic achievement. Their defence will have to be on top form today to keep a clean sheet, but I think they’re capable of weathering the storm and will ultimately come out on top.

    Sydney v Shandong Luneng

Similar to Seoul, Shandong need a goal – as it stands, they’re leaving the competition on away goals…the bad news for them is, like Urawa, Sydney don’t concede a lot. In fact, they’ve conceded only 5 times in the whole tournament – which is some going considering the group they were in, which included Evergrande, Pohang Steelers and Urawa. Sydney have the vital away goal and can progress with a draw or better here.

Shandong have had a poor start to their season. Domestically they’re average – currently sitting 11th. They’ve done well in the AFC Champions League so far having lost only once but have only scored twice in their last 4 games. Tardelli missed the weekend clash with Henan Jiaye so may not be 100% fit for today. He’ll probably start, but there will be questions on how much of a performance he can give – which may work to Sydney’s advantage.

    Urawa +1.5 Asian Handicap
    Sydney to qualify

    Double @ 9/10

Also like the look of corners in both matches, but unfortunately B365 don’t have markets for them in the Seoul game. Sydney coach Graham Arnold said in his pre-match conference how dangerous it is to sit back and play for a draw so will ensure his side play attacking football…Shandong will press for the goal they need and I’m sure will bring lots of corners. If Sydney go a goal down they’re likely to press and corners will come.

    Sydney v Shandong

    Over 9.5 Total Asian Corners @ 1/1

    Good luck today fella’s.

Like the look of Vissel Kobe v Nagoya Grampus – over 2.5 goals @ 8/11. Kobe to score 2 or more looks decent as well at 4/5…Grampus conceding a lot so far this season and Kobe scoring a fair few.

          • hampy 2 years ago

Kobe id say is the standout game pal i agree on both those bets. 1.5 kobe goals and 2.5 mgls.
Only other one tempted with is kashima for overs but il choose to see how its going inplay.

      Urawa +1.5 Asian Handicap
      Sydney to qualify

      Double @ 9/10

Sooooo close for Sydney, but they couldn’t hold on with that 89th minute equaliser from Junmin. Zac Anderson sending off didn’t help and Shandong capitalized on the man advantage. Not sure how Tardelli missed that penalty follow up though.

Sydney v Shandong over 9.5 Total Asian Corners @ 1/1

Paying a double visit to Aussie this morning…already tipped Sydney to qualify. Whilst I’m over there I may as well take a look at the Australian Queensland U20’s league, and in particular – the Moreton Bay U20 v Brisbane Strikers U20 match…

The H2H record shows the last 6 games between these two have averaged 5 goals per game. There’s been some high scoring clashes between these two including 5-3, 4-3 and 6-1 wins to the strikers. Games involving Moreton this season have averaged around 5.64 goals and Strikers around 4 goals per game.

Going with a few £ on the 4.0 Goal Line @ 9/10. If only 4 goals are scored, then money back. 5 goals or more makes a profit.

Chasing the tie. And they got 7 in the first leg.

  25. hampy 2 years ago

Ive not got much spare time today so im not going to tip norway or swiss etc as theyl be well covered by others. Im going to dip my toes back into belerus football again.
    Zhodino v belshina
    8th v 11th
Zhodinos home form is won 2 drawn 1 no losses with 5 goals scored 3 against.
Belshinas away form won 1 drawn 1 with 4 for 3 against.
Looking at over the last 5 games played zhodino are top in the form league with 3 wins and 2 draws 7f 2a.
Belshina are 12th with 1 win 3 draws and 1 loss 9 goals for 9 goals against.
Dont let that fool you theyve been scoring against the likes of bate and isloch are are at the top end of the league and scored in all their last 5 games.
Belshinas goals ratio in games is over 1.5mgls 87% and over 2.5mgls 50%. Where as zhodinos is 1.5 mgls 71% and over 2.5mgls 29%.

The last 3 head to heads 2 games saw over 2.5 mgls and the other was a 1-0 belshina win.
Am really expecting both sides to score today and the 2.10 seems reasonable.

    Good luck guys.

Last game of the season for teams in the Austrian Erste Liga and Swiss Super League…most teams have already cemented their places, but there’s still one or two that have something to play for. Both leagues generally have high scoring matches so I’m willing to pop a few quid on all games to see lots of goals. Obviously smallish stake for fun.

    Austrian Erste Liga – 18:30PM

All 6 games to go over 2.5 goals @ 6.27

    Swiss Super League – 19:30PM

All 5 games to go over 2.5 goals @ 5.85

Will also be on Mr Browning’s goal before 10, 20 and 30 mins (if available) for both leagues – especially Switzerland where these bets have paid well in the past two match rounds.

    Good luck all.

  28. manuel 2 years ago

Two teams that have won their respective leagues but I’ve noticed a trend, league winners usually want to finish off the league on a high, especially at home.

    Basel vs Grasshopper.

Grasshoppers – 2 wins in their last 11 games. 6/11 losses in that same period. Home win odds of 2 a bit too high for me. Basel had odds of 4 to win in their last match and were 3-0 up at halftime.

    Polten vs FAC Wien.

St. Polten to wrap up the league at home in style against already relegated FAC Wien. FAC Wien were thrashed 3-0 in the reverse fixture at home 5 weeks ago. (You could also go for HC -2 or Polten to score 2.5+ goals).

PK 35 Vantaa vs Inter Turku

Home team in crisis. Yet to win a single home game in 6, lost 4/6 at home. Yesterday 5 regular players (all spanish) decided they don’t want to play for them anymore.

    Polten HC-1
    Basel win
Inter Turku draw no bet away

    Odds- 5/1

    NB. Llagostera vs Almeria

Almeria 1 away win all season. Llagostera 7th best home team and in need of a win. Can’t understand the odds on this one. Tempted to back the home team as they’ve beaten some solid opposition there.

Have a look for yourselves guys

    Bari v Novara, Bari @ 13/10
    *Prices from Sporting Bet

Firstly today backing SJK in Finland for the home win. After a shocking start to the season they have started to pick up some form with only 1 defeat in the last 5 but still remain second bottom aftter 9 games. All 8 of their points have come after 4 straight defeats to start the season and their only 2 wins have come in their last 2 home games. I think momentum will carry them to a win here as VPS are they visitors and they have lost 3 of their 4 away matches. They did win the other but that was at the bottom side in the league and it was 0:0 late on until PK-35 were reduced to 10 men. Combining that with Bari to beat Novara. The Serie B sides have met twice this season with Bari being held at home and winning away. Bari have been decent at home this season with just 4 league defeats there in 21. Novara finished the season badly on the road taking just 2 point from their last 5 away visits. These are two very tightly matched sides so it will be close but I am hoping home advantage will see Bari edge it.

Best of luck with your bets today

The game is all but up for Salzburg with one matchday to go in Austria Erste. They’re down unless the team above them totally capitulates and loses by ten-nothing and Salzburg triumph at mid-table Kapfenburg. This isn’t likely to happen, we all know that, eh. But what’s to stop Salzburg believing in a 90 minute miracle by having a good pop as they sink out of sight? They’ve potted in their last 4 despite collecting just 2 points from 12 whilst Kapfenburg hasn’t kept a clean sheet in 8 but has scored in all but 7 of those. Kapfenburg is safe and I was going to go Salzburg merely to score at 1/3 but I think the season’s end in front of a home crowd will see Kapfenberg potting after all. The BTTS goes off at 2/5 (from 4/9 literally moments ago).

And that team directly above Salzburg is Klagenfurt who in the last two games has gone mad, netting 7 times (5-2 and 2-2) despite not landing a goal in the previous three outings (0-2, 0-0, 0-5) Will they be fearing a 90 minute miracle in Salzburg’s favour today? They just might wanna make sure of things, you know. Their opponents, midtable Lustenau, has scored in last 14/16 home games. They sit neither here nor there in 5th (of ten) and have scored v Klagenfurt in the 3 H2Hs so far. Klagenfurt to score is 1/2 but again I’m going for the BTTS at 6/10.

    Lustenau v Klagenfurt

    Austria 3rd Division

No team news obviously, so only based on stats.
Coming into this game, Wattens have won 9 matches on the trot, and won 11/12 with the other 1 a draw. They have kept a clean sheet in 10/10, and only conceded 1 goal in the last 12 matches. That is surely some form. 5 wins out of 6 away games with clean sheets in all of those may also impress you… but let’s talk about the home side. Out of thelast 12, Donbirn have 8-1-3 for form, with 8 clean sheets out of those but 11 goals conceded overall in 12 matches. Their form at home is much better, for they are unbeaten in 12 and have won 9 of those, including the last 5 on the trot and 5/6 clean sheets of the last home matches.

It’s 3rd vs. 1st here, and as I am sure Wattens can outscore Donbirn, they are already promoted and may not have much to fight for except the record plus the home team is unbeaten at home all season, hence they might sit back and let the home team do the attacking while they try to hit on the counter. Both teams could potentially score, given the h2h, but most likely in the second half of the game when the fatigue sets in. Odds for under 1.5 goals at HT seems quite good (1.70). Risky shot, but I’ll take it and hopefully I’ll be smiling after 47 minutes.

    Good Luck all :D

    Germany Regionaliga Nord Play-offs

Two top teams play each other here for promotion. Consider the stats:

11 wins on the trot. 11-1-0 for form with 6/12 clean sheets and the last 4 games clean sheets. Had a goal difference of +63 in the league

A bit worse for form, with 5-3-4 in the last 12, failed to keep a clean sheet in all last 6 matches and only 4/12 clean sheets. They are very poor travellers in fact, with 2-4-6 for their away games with only 3 clean sheets in those.

Home team looks much better on paper, and with this being a playoff, the classic tactic would be to keep things very tight at the back and prevent any away goals, but to secure a good chance they must also take a win into the second leg. Potential bets would be unders at HT, or BTTS NO, but I am taking the home team to nick it at odds of 2.01

Again, good luck to anyone who follows.

Putting the mortgage on, in betting terms, has always made me chuckle. I suspect most of us would be happy to put the biggest debt we have up to probably lose.

Anyway, it’s usually used for a bet we are sure about, a banker if you like.

So to get to the point:
    Orlando City play Philly tonight
10 out of 11 of their games have been btts, with only the clueless and bizarre vieira led nyc failing to score
4-6 looks good to me given the above.

Why not pay some of the mortgage off when it comes in?

  55. meadway 2 years ago

    Swiss treble @ 3.05

Basel vs Grasshopper zurich – Over 2.5mgs
    Lugano vs St.gallen – Over 2.5mgs

    Norway Cup six-fold:

Sandefjord vs Sandnes Ulf – Sandefjord win
    Rosenborg vs Nest-Sotra – over 1.5 2nd half goals
    Valerenga vs Vidar – BTTS & over 2.5 MG’s
    Kongsvinger vs Brattvag – BTTS & over 2.5 MG’s
Tromso vs Odd BK – Odd BK win
Stromgodset vs Stabaek – Stromgodset win

    34/1 LOST

Was looking promising but Odd BK drawing 2-2 with Tromso killed it.

      • waddo 2 years ago

@kelly.d – isn’t it the last game in the clausura and it’s a dead rubber for them? I can only presume it’s that or there’s some kind of team issue.

  67. waddo 2 years ago

For anyone that’s looking at tonights Bolivian games – I might be wrong, but looks like it’s the last game of the Clausura and most games are dead rubber so be careful.

tigre to score 2 or more, evens , my 1st bet today.

  70. 2 years ago

    Stagger no worries bud!

  71. HullShaker 2 years ago

Evening lads – bot much time to post so apologies if brief…seen a few posts re Bolivian games so quick heads-up.

Advise to bet on goals NOT outcome.

Final stages of the Clausara and some teams will be fielding almost if not full second teams.

Strongest a prime example – they’ve fluffed the chance to win the title and Ciclon are desperate to stay up needing to beat Strongest and reliant on Petrolero to lose which will force a relegation play-off.

  72. craneguy 2 years ago

    fek it taking…….

    strongest win 11/1 £4.50
    oriente petrolero win 8/1 £4.50
    double 107/1 £1

    both just after KO

Waddo, Bolivia only about half way through season atm from memory not looked tbh but either play each other 4 times or there is a split towards end of season……………

    • waddo 2 years ago

Honest, from what I can see crane the clausura is nearly finished so I’m sure it’s something to do with that.

  73. craneguy 2 years ago

Fancy them to score a couple and confirm UEFA qualification against a Randers side with nothing to play for … they have scored 2+ in their last 5 games. Randers have conceded 2 in their last 3 games.

    Night Owl…Copa Argentina :

Stingy card again but this one’s maybe worth a look – spent the early morning looking in SA and this was the one I kept coming back too although it’s not one to go mad on…

Racing sit a lofty couple of tiers higher than Tiro and should do the business…had a good look at stats this morning and although nothing stood out, my thoughts were that the only value looked to be team goals for the home side.

Over 2.5 tgs for Racing was available at evens earlier but now into 10/11 so I’ll quote that price.
    (2 Points)

    Good luck.

Gonna dip my toe in the Brazilian water tonight with a wee treble

    Figueirense vs Santos – draw @ 3.30
America MG vs Vitoria – Vitoria win @ 3.30

  90. HullShaker 2 years ago

9 full-time corners in Iceland and that’s 2 short of the minimum needed…lost and apologies to anyone on.

The words horses, dead and flogging spring to mind but extra time, tired legs and desperate defending and keeping often enhance a corner market…

    11/10 for 3+ et corners

nice safe betting again as always Jordan WD to you too young man………….

  95. Alves 2 years ago

    Figueirense v Santos 23.30 KO

    Last Figueirense home games have seen 15, 12, 9 & 16 corners

    Santos away games have seen 6, 13, 8 & 18.

The game before these ‘last games’ was a H2H and finished 4-4 on corners.

Over 10.5 asian corners 1.900 MAIN BET

    small stakes on these

    Figueirense RT7 corners
    Over 14 corners 9/2

It’s not in the inplay schedule but I’m guessing it’s due to the late KO. Will wait and see if it comes inplay but can get the other 2 bets on just now.

  96. craneguy 2 years ago
