Decent morning with wins on the Korean Womens game (thanks @hampy) and Aussie NPL U20’s game. Not a great deal on today I like but found a few in Sweden this evening I like…
Gefle v AIK
Gefle have had a poor start to their Allsvenskan campaign, with only 1 win from their opening 10 games. Today they play an AIK team who’re in decent form having lost only once in their last 5. Gefle are conceding, and a fair few at the Gavlevallen have gone into the home teams net, having conceded 13 goals in 5 there so far. AIK are scoring but also conceding, especially in their 5 away games so far – having seen 10 goals scored and the same number conceded.
Their last 2 meetings have seen 2-1 and 3-1 wins for AIK – in fact, Gefle have only beaten AIK 4 times in their 22 head to heads. 4 from AIK’s last 6 games have seen a minimum of 3 goals scored, and 4 from Gefle’e last 5 have seen the same. Gefle’s last two home games have seen high scoring wins for the away sides, and I’m hoping for that trend to continue…
IFK Goteborg v Hammarby
Interestingly – all 10 of Hammarby’s Allsvenskan games have seen both team scoring. Although they’ve only won 2 from their opening 10, they do score a fair few and are the leagues joint 7th top goalscorer’s with 18. More than today’s opponents have scored. Goteborg are very leaky and have conceded at least once in their last 8 matches…based on this I’m happy to take Hammarby to score.
Hammarby score around 77% of their goals before 75 minutes so I’m taking them to score before 70:00.
Malmo v Falkenberg.
3rd play last here – with Malmo having won 3 of their 4 meetings and the other ending as a draw. Malmo are in good stead and scoring well…in fact, they’ve scored a minimum of 2 goals in for of their last 5 Allsvenskan matches. Falkenberg are in poor form, having lost their last 4 league matches. In those losses, they’ve also conceded at least 2 goals per game…so I’m happy to take Malmo to score 2 goals or more.
