OWEN SCOTT'S chasing Paul Petrie in the tipster challenge so that's bearing in mind when you consider backing his treble.
McBookie.com man Petrie has won £286.91 to £10 stakes while William Hill's Owen is on £72.25 and needing a big win. Here are Saturday's tips from the duo as we count down to the end of the season.
Owen writes: “I'm running out of time now to catch to Paul Petrie in the challenge but I'm not for giving up with only a couple of weeks left.
“I'm starting with the match of the day in the West Region where a point will give Auchinleck the title but I reckon the title race will still be open until Hurlford's next game as I'm on an away win for Hurlford at 21-10.
“In the West of Scotland Cup semi-final I'm taking another shock as I'm on Arthurlie at 11-4 to get a win as they visit Irvine Meadow.
“To complete my treble I'm heading East and taking Bo'ness at evens as they entertain derby rivals Linlithgow.”

Paul writes: “It is never easy trying to find winners at this time of the year especially with so many games counting for nothing. That means I am sticking to the games which still have something at stake.
“First up I am going for Dufftown to beat Nairn St Ninian in the North at 4-9. Dufftown know only a win will keep their title aspirations alive and will be looking for a quick start. The only downside might be if news filters through Grantown are also winning and their heads go down but that is the risk worth taking.
“Next I am going for Thornton to beat Lochore in the East at 1-3. It is a short price but with so much at stake for the home side I they will step up to the plate. They need to win all their games to win the league and will be furious if this is a game they drop points in.
“Finally, in the West I am going for Irvine Meadow to beat Arthurlie at 4-7 in the cup semi-final. As I have said before it would be fitting if Meadow could win some silverware this season and this game gives them a great opportunity to make the final. They have won both games between the two sides without conceding so hopefully they will make it a hat-trick.”
