IT'S pretty quiet on Tuesday but we do have Hull v Derby in the Championship play-offs and the rearranged Man United v Bournemouth Premier League encounter.
Hull are 3-0 up from the away leg so don't need to do anything fancy but they were do dominant at Derby you'd think they'll add to their league.
Deciding what to do on the Man United game will depend on what side Louis van Gaal fields ahead of Saturday's FA Cup Final. United can't take fourth but can finish fifth ahead of Southampton while Bournemouth will move up two place with a victory and earn extra TV income.
Bournemouth have been trimmed slightly but are still available at 15-4 with bet365 with United a best 5-6 at BetBright. Eddie Howe's side are 8-15 to score and 5-2 with Coral to net 2+ which could happen if they are fully focused and United not.
In the League of Ireland there could be goals at St Patrick's v Finn Harps. St Pat's drew 3-3 with Longford last week while Harps were hammered 7-0 at home to Dundalk.

Yesterday Greg's over 2.5 goals double landed quickly in Switzerland but I didn't have any joy with my goals treble as all the action seemed to be in Switzerland and Holland but not Norway.

I was in a Ladbrokes shop this morning and the manager said to me, “Have you seen the offer we're doing today?”

Turns out they have draws at Man United and Hull boosted to 18-1 (max £25). That compares to 13-1 online and a market-best 14-1. I can't call either game so at 18-1 I was tempted and I'm advising a 0.5pt double.

For the Super Single I'm going with goals at St Pat's. They've not been in great form but have netted three in three of their last four and should manage at least against a Harps outfit whose last two matches have totalled 11 goals.

Over 2.5 match goals pays just under evens and I thought about over 2.5 St Pat's goals at 15-8 with Ladbrokes as they've won their last five at home to Harps with the last one being 6-1 in 2014. Before that it was 5-1 in 2008.

If you're doing challenges try to use the dedicated thread which was set up just for those sort of things.

    BTTS Double for Tuesday.
Derby v Hull (bit of reasoning on the Challenge thread)
    Man Utd v B’Mouth

It was going at 9/4 earlier with Coral when placed but the Derby/Hull price has shortened already to 20/23 from 1/1. Now paying about whatever comes between 2/1 and 9/4.

    Good luck, all.

@mr-fixit Hull/Derby over 3.5 cards with bet365… super single candidate, theres been a bag full in all the playoff semi’s so far.

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

Agreed Nathan, put this up yesterday and main bet for this evening…

With nothing to lose, Derby will have to go for it and I don’t see City playing cautiously so it could well be set up for goals…over 2.5 at 23/20 isn’t bad.

Like the looks of a smaller stake/higher odds combo of Over 2.5 mgs + Over 3.5 card points…paying 3.83/1
      (2 Points)

    • big mac 8 years ago

Totally agree with that hullshaker, Derby have to go for it and hull are in top form at the right time I can see goals for sure but I also see hull being too good for Derby and winning the game in liking hull to win and over 2.5 goals @ 12.5 I think I will be putting that up as my super single today

Id wait for a lineup and if its decent maybe give it 15mins at least to see just how much we want to beat bourenmouth tonight.
Winning the fa cup at weekend will put us in the group stages of europa anyway and think that will be our primary focus with it only being days away. Will put my pennies worth in later

    • hampy 8 years ago

One bet i do like the look of is bournemouth 3.5 team corners at 1.83 so il be on that.
Im hoping Rashford plays as think the call up to england even though hes expected to be dropped may spur him on to hunt for a goal. All ifs and buts until see lineup though.

    *Repost from last night*

    Bournemouth over 3.5 team corners

    5/6 (Bet365)

I’m with Alves when it comes to this game, but I am being a little more conservative (not that I don’t 5 is very achievable).

Surely Man Utd are not interested in this game, and Bournemouth can capitalize and end the season on a high. They have achieved 4 corners in 15/18 away matches, and I expect them to do it tomorrow as well.

Hampy – glad you are on this too, mate – fills me with even more confidence in the bet. Regardless of United’s line up, this has a great chance.

    • hampy 8 years ago

Had been looking at other options to goals as they certainly arnt guaranteed when were concerned other than scoring nore goals in 2nd half.
The bournemouth corners stood out fron what ive seen of bournemouths corner stats like you say bud. Good luck. Only game im betting on today unless see any inplays

  28. gowzzer 8 years ago

What does everyone use for their stats? Is there one website that’s the best?

Morning chaps, hope you all made some profit yesterday, there were some great tips on here – and echoing Mr Big Mac from earlier – thank you to @GregBrowning, @HullShaker, @HarryBaines and @hampy +more for yesterday’s winners. Hopefully more of the same today.

This morning sees my flying over to Malaysia for a trip to the Premier League…there’s 3 x early kick offs @ 9:45am today:

    ATM v Malacca

2nd place plays bottom place. Past 6 meetings between these two have seen 3 goals minimum. 5 from Malacca’s last 6 games have seen 3 goals or more, whilst ATM’s last 7 Premier League games have had the same outcome. This is the game I’m most confident of seeing goals in.

    DRB-Hicom v PKNS

5th plays 6th here – with PKNS’ last 13 games going over the 2.5 goals mark. 6 from DRB’s 10 Premier League games have gone over too. My only worry is the H2H doesn’t boast great for overs.

    UiTM v NS Matrix

H2H not great for goal seekers, however NS Matrix have been in the mix with the goals this season with their past 7 games seeing 3 goals or more. UiTM’s games so far have been a little more sombre for goals but at home they’ve scored 7 and conceded the same amount in 5 games. They come up against a Matrix side who have scored 9 from 4 away.

    ATM v Malacca
    DRB-Hicom v PKNS

    Over 2.5 Goals Double @ 2.08

    ATM v Malacca
    DRB-Hicom v PKNS
    UiTM v NS Matrix

Over 2.5 Goals Treble @ 3.01 (Small Stake) – may go for a trixie instead as not as confident on all 3 coming in.

Also, plainly for interest, putting a £2 6-fold on all Malaysian Premier League games to go over 2.5 goals @ 9.91. Don’t hold much hope, but generally a high scoring league.

    Good luck today gentlemen ?

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

    • waddo 8 years ago

      *WIN*

      ATM v Malacca
      DRB-Hicom v PKNS

      Over 2.5 Goals Double @ 2.08

*LOST* but went for trixie so got most of stake back

      ATM v Malacca
      DRB-Hicom v PKNS
      UiTM v NS Matrix

Over 2.5 Goals Treble @ 3.01 (Small Stake) – may go for a trixie instead as not as confident on all 3 coming in.

*My lack of confidence in the UiTM v Matrix game was justified, at least it was a small stake and the double more than covered the loss plus the trixie brought majority of stake back.

  30. waddo 8 years ago

Quite fancy a visit to Vietnam as well, seeing as I’m over that way…

    9:00AM – Binh Phuoc v Ho Chi Minh (Over 2.5 Goals @ 5/4)

Played each other twice with both seeing 3 and 4 goals. 5 from Binh Phuoc’s 6 x V2 league games have gone over 2.5 goals. Ho Chi Minh have scored 8 from 3 away and Binh have scored 7 from 3 at home but have conceded 6. Worth a small stake at those odds.

    • waddo 8 years ago

The game has completely disappeared – managed to get on the bet and the game was on futbol24 earlier but no longer there now

    • gopher 8 years ago

Waddo looks like the trip to Vietnam was worth it this morning.

Futbol24 now showing a 3-1 win for Ho Chi Minh City this morning.

Can you let us know when your doing the teams to score in 10 and 20 minutes, and the breakdown again. ?
Most leagues nearly finished now right enough.
Is it Bet365 you use for it ?
Always worth a punt with low stakes.

    • stubhoy 8 years ago

Was a cracker @oozie made a right few bob from it

    • oozie 8 years ago

      Sure was @stubhoy
I could only manage to put on goals from 0-10 and then 10-20 on Bet 365 in-play.
Did you manage to put on from 0-20 and 0-30 also, if so where do you find that option mate ?

I just want to make sure I’m not missing out.

    • stubhoy 8 years ago

@oozie I just fired it all on goal before 30 mins in each game 5 fold returned at over 16/1 mate ?

  32. waddo 8 years ago

Morning Sir Hampy – if you’re around. Wanted your point of view on the Tokyo v Shanghai SIPG game if you could spare a few minutes please…

Quite fancy SIPG to score 2 goals (or more) @ 6/4. Seems generous odds considering SIPG have scored 2 goals or more in 5 of their 7 AFC Champions League games so far. The last game was a bit of an exception because it was dead rubber for them. My only worry is Gyan won’t be playing and their captain is a doubt…but as far as I’m aware Elkeson and Wu Lei have travelled.

    • hampy 8 years ago

Have my doubts on that mate but possible. Tokyo not shipping many goals though dont score many also where as sipg been abit flat in last 3 or 4 games. Think will be an unders. Id be more confident on jeonbuk scoring 2 there in great form scoring and victory havnt played for a couplenof weeks.
Another option is jeonbuk to score a goal doubled with sipg to score a goal payin around 1.80

    • waddo 8 years ago

Ok mate, thanks for your insight on that one. ?

    • hampy 8 years ago

      No probs mate.

    • hampy 8 years ago

Sorry if sipg get another bud just looked like an unders. I wasnon the jeonbuk and sipg to score was only 1.77 odds but will take it

    • waddo 8 years ago

Absolutely nothing to apologise for mate – I was genuinely on the fence with Gyan missing this one and to be honest I’m not too fussed now as I put SIPG to score during the HT interval at 10/11 so got a nice few £ for that. Well done on grabbing the score double pal ?

    • waddo 8 years ago

Ended 2-1 anyway bud, so good call on that one, saved me a few £ – cheers.

    • hampy 8 years ago

No probs bud. Dont usually see many goals at this advanced stage.

    ___________________________

Olympiakos have won the cup more times than anyone else in Greece and are the current holders but they have a tough ask on their hands today in the final. The opponents are AEK and this is effectively a home game for them as the final is at the Olympic stadium in Athens. AEK have already beaten Olympiakos there this year but a red card did have a say in that. I think Olympiakos are the stronger side and could edge it. In the battle for the race to the top flight in Czech Republic Hradec look set for a return but its tight with Karvina and Znojmo just 3 points behind and in the fight for the two promotion places. I am backing Znojmo today as they are solid at home but also hosting a side who have lost 10 of their 12 away games. I was going to stick to a double today as not a lot catches the eye but have decided to add Al Ahly. They are top of the table with 10 wins from 13 at home and should beat today’s visitors but EL Entag El Harby have drawn half their away games so may be tough to break down.

Best of luck with your bets today

  36. Alves 8 years ago

    Onehunga 7/5 wins ?

  37. geoff50 8 years ago

Going to get started early today and go for BTTS in the AFC Champions League game between Melbourne Victory and Jeonbuk Motors.

It has landed in 5/6 Melbourne games in the AFC this year and 4/6 for Jeonbuk.

Jeonbuk are certainly good for goals scoring 2 or more in their 3 away games. The two games for them that weren’t BTTS were comfortable wins against lesser opposition.

    Available at around evens.

    • waddo 8 years ago

Good call on this geoff – Jeonbuk scored in all but one of their AFC games this campaign, I reckon this will come in. It’s already 1-0 to the Victory, I missed the btts market at decent odds so may jump on the Jeonbuk to score before 70mins market @ 8/11

    • waddo 8 years ago

Easy as that 1-1 after 13 mins! Excellent shout geoff – wish I had got on in time but snatched the Jeonbuk goal before 70 ?

    • geoff50 8 years ago

That didn’t take long to land!

Sorry I should have posted this earlier but hope a few got on. I’m expecting more goals in this one but probably won’t place a bet at the prices.

    • geoff50 8 years ago

Another bet I like in the AFC is Shanghai to win away at Tokyo. 6/4 is good value but as it is two legs I’m going to play it safe and take the 4/5 draw no bet.

Game kicks off in 20 mins so hopefully a few more can get on this one!

    • waddo 8 years ago

My only concern on that one geoff is that they’re missing Gyan and their captain Sun Xiang – they still have the firepower of Elkeson and Wu Lei but as mentioned by hampy earlier – Tokyo have been keeping it tight of late with only 1 goal conceded in 4 games. Good luck to you fella.

    • geoff50 8 years ago

Good points I just can’t even see Tokyo scoring so DNB seems fairly safe.

Unders may be another way in for people preferring goal bets. I don’t like betting on goals not to happen though it just doesn’t feel right. Price is pretty short anyway.

    • waddo 8 years ago

Yep DNB for safety would be a good call. Hope it comes in for you pal. I’ll watch in play and see how SIPG get on, might put a few £ on them to score if still 0-0 come HT.

    • waddo 8 years ago

Good old Wu Lei got me another nice little earner with SIPG grabbing a goal @ 10/11. Hope they score again for you geoff.

    • tigerman1 8 years ago

Took Most goals to be scored in the 2nd half on this one. bit of a risk, but I’ll take my chances and cross my fingers :D

      Good Luck

    • geoff50 8 years ago

Might be a good shout tigerman although would be a bit of a surprise for this one to go over 2.5 goals.

Stats were favouring Tokyo in the first half but thankfully Shanghai putting on a better show this half.

Man Utd vs Bournemouth – Team peformances Man Utd over 75 6/5 **NAP**

Team peformances Bournemouth 20-30 4/1 **NB**

Going with something a bit different today, here is the key:

Win the match = 25 pts

Draw the match = 10 pts

Each goal scored = 15 pts

Each corner gained and taken = 3 pts

    Keep a clean sheet = 10 pts

Score before the 20th minute = 10 pts extra (maximum 10 points per team)

Each yellow or red card received = 5 pts and 15 pts deducted respectively (maximum 20 points per player)

The starting line up for Man Utd is important considering the upcoming cup final, however my view on this is that LVG will want to sign off at Old Trafford this season on a high, especially after the club had to shell out £3m of free tickets to tonight’s match for supporters. Also I think he will know that a poor peformance tonight could force the hierarchy’s hand irrespective of what occurs on Saturday. Man Utd’s home form has been fairly decent in the past couple of months; 4/5 of their previous matches there have been wins with clean sheets and they have been awarded a fair amount of corners against opponents (14 against Villa, 10 against palace, 9 against Watford). The only threat to the team performance score could be yellow cards but it’s good news that Fellani is serving a ban. Taking this all into account there should be enough action to see the total peformance score go over 75 points.

Bournemouth could be expected to be awarded anywhere between 4-6 corners based on previous away games and there is the possibility that they’ll also score tonight. I dont think they will get the win but if they are issued a card or more with the above scenario it would see there team peformance score finish in the 20-30 pts range.

Risky one but warriors are poor so far this season

    • waddo 8 years ago

Unlucky bud – was just looking at various markets on this…like you, I reckon Tampines will nab this one. I can see Tampines score around 70% of their goals in 2nd half so might have a little stab at Tampines Over 1.5 team goals at 6/4 or Tampines to win and Btts (No) @ 6/5.

    14:00PM – Malaysian Premier League

Staying in Malaysia after this morning’s double and fancy another double from the same league…

    Kuala Lumpur v Sime Darby

Top v 2nd bottom…Kuala Lumpur in great home form having won all 4 on their turf whilst scoring 11 in those games. Sime Darby are the complete opposite having one only once in their opening 10. Away from home they’re poor having conceded 10 goals in 4 games. H2H shows they’ve only met twice but both ended as high scoring results with 5-0 and 5-1 wins to Sime Darby. It appears their fortunes have reversed and I’d expect Kuala Lumpur to record their first victory today against Sime.

Kuala Lumpur’s last 5 games have seen a minimum of 3 goals each whilst Sime Darby have been involved with several high scoring games so far.

    Kuantan v Johor II

Teams have met twice with both ending up as a Johor win…one ended 5-2 and the other 1-0 so not much to go on with the H2H. Look into the games recently played though and you’ll see Kuantan’s last 5 have seen at least 3 goals involved. They’ve scored 10 in 4 home games this campaign whilst also conceding 5 there. I’m not as confident on this one, so will only be laying down small stakes…

Over 2.5 Goals Double @ 2.16 (Small Stake)

    • waddo 8 years ago

Looks like Sime Darby had a man sent off during HT – currently 0-0, hopefully Kuala Lumpur pull their finger out 2nd half – fancy them to score 2 now with a man advantage @ 4/5 in play. 2nd half just kicking off…

    14:00PM – Danish Reserve League

Paying a visit to Denmark this afternoon having traveled around a bit today already. Clocking up those air miles! :)

    Hobro Reserves v Viborg Reserves

4 from their 7 meetings have seen 3 goals scored each, but recent games is of interest for both sides. 8 from Hobro’s last 10 games have seen 3 goals or more flying in the net and 6 from Viborg’s last 7 have had the same outcome.

    Velje Reserves v Sonderjyske Reserves

6 from the last 7 meets between these two have seen at least 3 goals notched. Sonderjyske’s last 5 games have seen the 3 goals scored at least and Velje 3 from the last 5.

    Over 2.5 goals double @ 2.35

*Again, small stake for me as the Danish reserve games can be a bit hit and miss and is more for interest as there’s not a lot on.

Another winning NAP yesterday and sometime when there isn’t much value to be had its best doubling up two 1/2 shots – My early goal tip in the switzerland games paid 2/1, ( 16/1 if you took 30 mins and 9/2 for 40 mins) just 4 mins shy of landing a 90/1 goal before 20 mins 5 fold! Will be concentrating more on this over the is summer and certainly into next season!

There little doing today so no Nap

Thoughts on Derby to have the most corners in the game tonight?

Hull (6.41) and Derby (6.11) are 1st and 2nd respectively in the championship for having the most corners. Derby will have to attack and if we look at yesterday’s game, Brighton averages 6.04 corners at home whilst Wednesday concendes 5.43 away. Brighton got nearly double (11) of what they average whilst only conceding 1.

Tonight’s game is similar in the sense that Derby has to attack, and although playing away, Derby still average 5.65 corners. Only thing is, Hull avaerage 7.13 corners at home and concedes only 3.17. But then I still think Derby will get more than what Hull will normally concede and Hull will get less than what they normally get due to the game being the 2nd leg of a Hull win already.

Derby win corner match is currently 13/10.

  55. HullShaker 8 years ago

    Afternoon gents,

Early doors in the Icelandic top-flight but one team have impressed me more than the others…Stjarnan.

Unbeaten in their opening 3 with 9 points, they’ve been the most consistent side in the Urvalsdeild so far. They didn’t have the best of campaings last season but did end with a flourish, notching 4 back to back league wins (7/7 then).

    KR v STJARNAN (21.00 KO):

Bookies invariably get it right but I’m going to oppose them with his one.

KR have 1 win and 2 draws to date: a narrow win at FH who themselves have’t had their best start, a 0-0 with Vikingur who, again have had a dour start and perhaps most telling, a 2-2 draw with Throttur….who had their pants pulled down by Stjarnan last week in a 6-0 rout.

    Two selections:

    STJARNAN…OVER 1.5 TGS…6/4
    (4 Points)

    BTTS & STJARNAN WIN…21/5
    (1 point)

    Good luck with all bets.

  57. GregBrowning 8 years ago

Oozie, it’s called “Time of first goal”

It’s right at the bottom of the Inplay makets ( you can favourite it though so it appears as the very fist market)

    First goal Before 10 mins
    First goal before 20 mins

    And so on

It’s not between ones it’s literally as it says on the tin, the first goal to be scores before 10, 20. 30 or 40 mins, Obvioulsly the longer you choose the shorter the price

I might do some singles on the Man U and Derby game tonight 10 20 and 30

Well, after a very profitable day so far with two doubles in Malaysia, a Danish double and a couple of singles all coming in I’m off to the land of the midnight sun next…

4PM sees 3 games kicking off in the Swedish U21 League.

    Assyriska U21 v Bromma U21
    Degerfors U21 v Syrianska U21
    Atvidaberg U21 v AFC U21

All 6 teams have been in the mix with goals this campaign so far – whether that be scored or conceded. Pre-match odds not available currently on these games with B365 but odds will appear shortly in play. I fancy all 3 games seeing 3 goals or more – so if available I’m going with an over 2.5 goals treble.

    • waddo 8 years ago

B365 setting the goals markets rather high but worth watching these in-play…goals a plenty to be had in this league.

    • big mac 8 years ago

Hot streak waddo I think I’ll join you in sweden

    • waddo 8 years ago

Markets currently not great for goals @big mac pre-match. They’ve just come up on the inplay list and the goal markets are set rather high. Definitely worth watching in play though and if relatively low scoring half way through first half you’ll get better odds.

Purely for interest for now I’m sticking £2 on all 3 games to see 2 goals in the first half @ 5.27.

      Good luck dude.

    • waddo 8 years ago

Close, but not quite enough – with 4 of the 6 required goals coming in. Nevermind, only £2 lost. Sorry big mac.

Still worth watching these inplay 2nd half – I’m sure a couple more goals will be bagged. Keep an eye on Atvidaberg U21…AFC have had a man sent off but are winning 1-0 at HT. I just stuck a few £ on the Atvidaberg double chance @ 11/4.

  63. waddo 8 years ago

Not going to be able to post after 5pm for a while so posting a few potentials for this afternoon/evening in advance – none of these are tips, just highlighting some games I may have a look at if I have time…

5PM (Estonia) Sillamae Kalev v Paide

Kalev scored 10 and conceded 10 in their opening 6 home matches. Paide have scored 9 and conceded 8 in their 6 aways. Has the potential to go overs, odds are currently 4/6 which are slightly too small for me pre-match.

In the other 5PM Estonian games I can see Kalju and Levadia notching two goals or more each – markets not available on this pre-match with B365, so they will be ones to watch in play.

Also like the look of Bournemouth over 3.5 corners @ around 5/6 and cards in the Hull v Derby game – potentially going with over 3.0 asian total cards @ 1.85.

    Good luck tonight gentlemen.

    • waddo 8 years ago

Oh and Frej U21 are playing Dalkurd U21 in the Swedish U21 league at 5pm – again, I can see plenty of goals potentially, so another to watch in play.

    Derby team news:

    Big changes:

    4-3-3.

Hendrick in for Johnson, and Weimann in for Ince.

    Carson
    Christie/Keogh/Shackell/Olsen
    Hendrick
    Hughes/Bryson
    Russell/Martin/Weimann

Camara is back on the bench, along with Ince and Johnson. Nick Blackman ( former Reading star striker – who’s barely had a sniff since we brought him has been left at home ).

As we all know, Derby collapsed after a dominant first 25 minutes and that 1st goal knocked the side – sideways. Its easy for us to sit back as fans and berate the manager on his team selection and tactics but with Thorne’s double leg break on the last day of the season and no John Eustace to fill in is a diabolical managerial decision to release him.
We’ve all played football manager but the fans are all saying the same: The holding midfielder role needs to be filled with someone with the discipline to stay back. Its a problem we’ve had all season, the momentum of an attack and everyone bombs forward, they then counter us and boom, we’re 1 nil down. Its happened so many times this season.
I think Hendrick who is more defensive minded than Hughes ( who filled in that holding role ) is a MUCH better fit. Why did/do we play our best attacking/creative midfielder 10 yards in front of our back 4???? The problem with Hendrick is he does like to arrive late in the box – similar to Bryson, BUT he’s gotta stay back in our own half.
That first 25 mins at the weekend, we just needed maybe 1% more and so much could of clicked into place and from a fans perspective, it makes you think ” if we don’t capitalise from this early momentum, a goal against the run of play would hit us like a train “. It did.

A 2 goal deficit has never been overturned in a playoff semi and we have 3 to get. But you know what, an early goal for the rams and we could see Hull collapse in the way that Derby did. Just 1 early goal could un-nerve them, a 2nd Derby goal and that momentum could be carried right through till the final whistle.

This match is a tough one and I’d hate to back any result. But it does remind me of a game a long way back under Nigel Clough against Forest in the cup. We went 2 nil down in 15-20 mins, as soon as Derby got their first, you just knew Derby would turn the game on its head, they did, we beat them 3-2 at their ground.
Hull I think have still been beaten once at their ground, by Derby. So we DO know how to play against them, it just bewilders me how we managed to lose, not just lose but to have our ar*e handed to us on a plate. ffs, we’ve put 6 past them without reply in the league. This CAN be a winnable game for Derby, but we’ve ALL got to be at our absolute best to get anywhere near that 3 goal ” Mount Everest “.. Ironically, the best game we’ve played this season was at home to Hull – which is why the loss at the weekend was so damaging.

    Hull are unchanged.
An observation I did make in this last match and the 4 nil just 5 weeks earlier. Derby chased down every ball, every 2nd ball, it created huge pressure and lots of Hull mistakes. Ignoring the first 25 mins, Hull did the exact same to Derby, chased down every ball, and it caused mistakes. Lots of them. Trust me, this is ripe for cards !!!!

For the sake of making cash on this though, I’m avoiding the win/draw/loss/goals market altogether. CARDS !!!! i’ll take 5/4 on offer with bet365 for over 3.5 cards in this match all day long. Its romped home in all the playoff semi’s this year and this looks like its ripe for the taking.

Best of luck folks on your bets.

    • michaelc 8 years ago

“A 2 goal deficit has never been overturned in a playoff semi” I refer you to 1996. Bradford 0 Blackpool 2. League Division 2 playoff semi. 3 days later the Bantams went to Bloomfield Road and won 3-0. It is all we have been talking about this week since Sunday’s result v Millwall! Wonder Why……. Have faith Mr Ufton. An early Derby goal makes it possible. 2 goals and I reckon you’ll be favourites!

    • michaelc 8 years ago

and of course I’ve just realised you are 3 down, not 2. But still, a 3-0 win takes it to extra time! If you can do it, then so can we on Fri so despite my physical proximity to Hull, I’ll be cheering on Derby this evening and hoping you provide some inspiration to the Bradford boys!

I’m just following the media on the deficit thingy. I know Yeovil did the biz against Forest on the reverse leg but don’t know what the scorelines were. It gave rise to Derby fans saying ” they should of had Heather Mills managing Forest, at least she’d of not took the 2nd leg for grantes “. Still makes me chuckle. Anyway. I’ve £54.04 on the overs 3.5 cards. ( my profit from my treble last night ). But put an over-optimistic £10 on over 3.5 cards 5/4 /over 12 corners 15/8 and Derby to qualify 25/1. Its about £1600. BUT, an early Derby goal could set up a terrific nail-biter. IF it comes in, i’ll post a screenshot of it somehow.

Guys (…and lasses), any thoughts on goals & overs in the man U vs. Bournemouth game? EPL been banana skin lately…

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

just a point for Man U see’s them in the Europa cup. A Man U double result looks safe.

  73. andrzejstarba 8 years ago

Not been having much luck in the last week of the European leagues. Have been trying different bets when sometimes the obvious ones are right in front of you.
That is why I have gone for a stake on a double of DT’s over 3.5 bournemouth corners and nathan’s cards in Derby match but gone for Over 3 asian cards – double pays 3.39.
Hopefully this comes in and can thank you guys.
    Good luck to all tonight

2 cards in first 30 mins and Derby dictating all play…… anything can happen.

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

Cracking pace to the game Nathan.

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

Its all down to Hughes being in the advanced midfield role, he’s having a stormer. Hull’s back must be right up against the wall. Price to qualify down from 25/1 to 11/4 …
Cards should come in, corners count need to rise a bit quicker and a couple of goals. Even a win in extra time would do it, but we need a good flurry of corners.

I’ll post up a screenshot of my betslip if I figure out how to

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

Don’t worry about figuring out the screenshot Nathan…NASA have reported they can see the skidmarks on your undies from space already ?

Good luck for the second 45 pal.

  82. mahommie29 8 years ago

Steve Bruce set up a highly defensive team tonight despite leaving pride park with 3 priceless goals. A goal for hull should seal the tie and half-time couldn’t come sooner as he’d surely reorganise in search of that one goal .

  83. stagger 8 years ago

Seriously tempting fate with all these blasted Booms – can’t say I blame you though, Good luck mate. Rather see Derby up than Hull.

2 singles and 1 double from me today

Neuchatel xamax vs Lausanne sport – Both teams to score and over 2.5mgs @ 1.95 *WIN*

Agf aarhus vs Aalborg – Both teams to score and over 2.5mgs @ 2.00 *LOST*

1 out of 3, not bad but no good either. Didn’t think it would of been Aalborg letting me down though. Better luck next time eh….

  92. warktheline 8 years ago

That’s what I enjoy about this club, I had no interest whatsoever with today’s card, but checked in, run through the posts, and had myself a wee dabble on Guru Browning’s goals, and Nathan’s card tips….. Cheers guys! Waiting on you Sir Jordan ?

5 cards, sadly lacking in corners and momentum with Derby has dropped off.

  99. nathanufton 8 years ago

Valliant effort from Derby, it was just a yard too far.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nathanufton, yeah a good effort. Thought it was on at one stage.
Hopefully you’ll be back next year.
Hull or Owls – what’s your money on?

    • nathanufton 8 years ago

@mr-fixit Owls… More consistent and more resolute – and they pushed aside Brighton. Hull had a bad day today, they can play better, we know that ( last Saturday ), but for 70 odd mins today, we cut them apart. I think it will be a very different final and I can see it AGAIN being a cards overs kinda match. Sheff Wed will out-muscle them, Hull will bite back. and the ref’s cards will again be sponsored by ” Clinton’s Cards “.

    • Mr Fixit 8 years ago

nathanufton, I find it tough to call – just wonder if Steve Bruce will get Hull over the line.
You’re right about cards. Bound to be a few.

    • HullShaker 8 years ago

Unlucky Nathan – been great to follow a bit of true club passion through your posts – excellent game of football as well.

Cards in but a goal short on my bet.

    Completely misjudged that one

  102. bullseye 8 years ago

Man Utd vs Bournemouth – Team peformances Man Utd over 75 6/5 **NAP** WON 87 pts

Team peformances Bournemouth 20-30 4/1 **NB** LOST 18 pts

Win the match = 25 pts

Draw the match = 10 pts

Each goal scored = 15 pts

Each corner gained and taken = 3 pts

    Keep a clean sheet = 10 pts

Score before the 20th minute = 10 pts extra (maximum 10 points per team)

Each yellow or red card received = 5 pts and 15 pts deducted respectively (maximum 20 points per player)

A real lack of Bournemouth corners hurt the NB as if just one more had been awarded it would’ve brought in the win. Hoefully this market is available for Euro 2016 and Copa America because it’s great fun and theres some big prices available.

2nd leg last 32 cup match in brazil

    Singles
    Ceará SC v Joinville EC

Both Teams To Score Yes @ 11/10

    Small stake on
    Draw @ 23/10

Joinvilles last 3 aways have been 1-1 and they are unbeaten in 8 away from home.
Ceará have drawn 3 from 4 at home with the other a defeat.
    1st leg was 0-1 Ceará.

Not enough knowledge to be honest but looking at stats, I’m not sure why joinville are 9/2
Reckon btts is a good price though.
    Bed time.?
