IT was a mixed day for Jordan yesterday but he's managed to stay just ahead of the game for May.

He says: “Atletico bringing home the biggest bet but if I’d have clocked up the fact Columbus Crew had traded Kei Kamara to the New England Revolution I might have thought twice about them scoring two. The same went for Montreal who also manged to score early but not another with the Revs getting their second late on.

“Today sees the end of a season for a few more teams around Europe but I'm drawn to a few games which still have some meaning. Real Betis host Getafe at home and I’m tempted by Betis to score.

“In 14th if they get 3 points and results go their way around them they could end up in the top half of the table which they will take after coming up from the Segunda last season. Getafe also carry a bit of form into this, undefeated in 4 of their last 5 and have won their last 2 away from home. This comes at a vital time as it's a must win with Vallecano and Gijon both attempting to survive the drop themselves.

“Despite Betis only scoring 15 goals at home, veteran striker Ruben Castro has 8 of them, and 18 of their 32 in La Liga, that’s 56% and that’s a probability I like against a side in desperate need of a win and yielding the second most goals away from home all season, 11 in their last 5, and 25 in 10.

“Add Elfsborg at Orebro who are both seeing goals a plenty in their games this season. Orebro yet to keep a clean sheet at home with Elfsborg scoring in all 4 away games this season and playing on artificial turf which they’ll be fine with.

“Lazio have had Fiorentina's number in the past few games and catch them out of form and already qualified for Europe. Lazio already know their fate so this might not mean too much but with Miroslav Klose playing his last game for Lazio and his career you’d have to think there will be some fight in them.”

Afternoon gents. Treble looks to be down before its got going with a stalemate at Orebro and down to 10 men. Think a few expected goals today but never mind. Going to risk another point on Ruben Castro at 2/1 @ Bwin and hope for the best. I do think Betis to score before 59:00 is a decent market with 365 but don’t want to chase losses as I’m taking this in the MLS tonight another possibly if it appears at 365.

@jordan I agree. Few could have predicted that scoreline. I had it down as a 2-2 match. Hopefully Castro does the business

Excellent decision to put extra on Castro. Top class as always. Thank you.

Cheers gents. The more in depth research paid off. Shame about Elfsborg as everything else panned out.
