I CALLED the QPR-Wigan correctly (“best bet is under 2.5 goals”) but unfortunately got it wrong with my Super Single York who lost to Fleetwood.
It's fairly quite on Tuesday but I've had a good look at the Falkirk v Hamilton play-off and World Cup warm-up start with Germany v Poland in Hamburg.
Oor man in Napoli will hopefully give us a steer on the Serie B card while in Ligue 2 Caen face Nimes aiming to bounce back from a shock defeat to Tours at the weekend and seal second spot with a seventh win in eight games.
Anyone backing Germany should be aware they will be without all of their Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund stars as well as Arsenal trio Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski.
Andre Schurrle and Miroslav Klose are also out but with several Brazil spots up for grabs there will be plenty to play for and players such as Max Mayer, Lars Bender and Julian Draxler will get a chance to shine.
Germany have lost one in 18 (4-3 to USA) and this squad is similar to that one. However, with more toplay for than Poland – who will also be missing their Dortmund stars – the home side should win and are a a best 1-3 at Betfred.
I was impressed by Falkirk’s comeback from two down to beat Queen of the South in the Championship play-offs at the weekend.
Gary Holt’s men are 7-2 outsiders with McBookie to win the play-off final behind Hamilton 11-4 and favourites Hibs 4-6.
Tonight’s semi-final first leg with Hamilton will be tense and hard-fought affair. Accies have the advantage after a 10-day break and I take them at 8-11 at bet365 to qualify.
Last time out they mauled Morton 10-2 and I expect them to be on target at the Falkirk Stadium. Both to score looks a shout at 7-10 with McBookie.
Mickael Antoine-Curier claimed four goals against Ton and is 5-1 at William Hill to hit the opener tonight and Accies could be boosted by the return of Jason Scotland.
For Falkirk their top scorer Rory Loy was again on target in the 3-1 semi-final success against QoS and is 4-1 at William Hill to break the deadlock.
To win tonight the Bairns are 29-20 with McBookie and Accies 19-10 but a score draw at 10-3 with bet365 could be the call.
Orient face Peterborough in the second leg of their Championship semi-final with the sides locked at 1-1. There’s little between the teams and another draw at 23-10 with Paddy Power is a possibility.

Palermo have never been 2/1 this entire season.They have barely been 11/8 this season and mostly evens to 4/7.
Obviously the best team in the league by a long shot, and wrapped up the title over a week ago.
At the weekend they played Latina, and they should have won that game, had some very good chances – They were 6/5 that day as everyone assumed they would take the foot of the gas. They didnt. From what I know Iachini wanted to smash every record he can from winning the league to the end.

I posted stats about Al Jaziras away games in the AFC before their last one which ended 2-3 so stayed true to form. Not been sticking stats and stuff up too much lately but think these are pretty stand up and when they span a time period like this and are as consistent as this it’s hard to ignore.
Looking at Al Jaziras away record in the AFC and they have been involved every year for the last 5 years playing 18 away games.
17 of those were BTTS
15 have seen over 2.5 goals
Every away games since 2010 has seen over 2.5 goals and btts.
Their away games average over 4 goals per game.
If we ignore the 2009 campaign that goes to almost 4.5 goals per game.
This campaign all three away games have saw btts and over 2.5 goals. All have went over 3.5 goals.
Ai Ain play in the same league as Al Jazira, 5 of their last 6 meetings has saw btts and over 2.5 goals.

I am inclined to agree with Mr F re: Falkirk v Hamilton.
I have been trying for draws throughout the playoffs with little success but my gut tells me tonight will be a draw and sometimes you have to trust your gut.
Both sides were separated by 1 point and 1 goal by the end of the league proper. They are closely matched and I feel Hamilton will be delighted to get up the road with an even keel for the next leg.

Not the biggest fan of full schedule midweek Serie B games, but some games look decent(not as good as this saturdays game imo)
Having said this there are a few things, and Im not putting up stats for these I will just warble and you can read in between the lines.
Palermo look to have a decent team out for the game tonight. They still want to smash some records, and even though they had drawn with Lanciano, they should have won that game.
Cittadella have been excellent, but perhaps 2 games were real quality wins, the rest were against strugglers or injury ridden teams..so its not all glorious.

Bari, who are looking for new ownership after declaring money problems are in a real flux with the company, but the fans have been astonishing in Puglia. 32.000 were at the match last week and the fans are really trying to buoy their team to keep going – who knows, Serie A could be theirs next season. Certainly have been very good both home and away recently. Carpi are tricky customers but their attitude is more open at home, so the games tend to have more free flowing football.
BTTS looks good for the Bari game, and even a Bari win if they can keep that momentum going. (i hope they do get into a playoff)

Brescia are struggling with a few injuries so, like the game in Reggio (I had that on for 17/4 before cashing out) they could struggle tonight.

They play Diósgyőr, who beat Ferencvaros in semi’s 3-2 but only after being 1-0 down in 2nd leg til Ferencvaros got a man sent off then they went on to win 2-1. In the league Videoton have scored 50 goals and Diósgyőr have conceded 37 in 28 games so far.
At 11/10 it’s a risky bet as H2H isn’t great but worth it imo.

I have looked at the fixtures and it is possible for them to go down even with a point tonight. So i think Caen are great odds and maybe a good shout for btts + win @9/2

Having a look at the egyptian 3pm games, El Shorta haven’t lost a home game in the league since February 2013, and are odds on to win by a long way, so it’s pointless going for a straight win or double chance.
Also, their H2H with Bani Sweif is a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture, and a 2-0 win last time Shorta played at home.
Looking at past results, and knowing that egyptian games tend to be low scoring affairs half the time, I was thinking perhaps going for Bani Swief +2 handicap which is 4/9, or even risking a +1 handicap at 11/8 (I think)
Any thoughts? Anyone had a look already?

There have been some talk in here about fixed games, I remember I was suspicious after an Steua game earlier this season, do you remember that one, the opposite team was supposedly in big financial trouble and the players hadn’t got their salary. The odds on Steua loosing was in double figures, I think it was 30 minutes before the game, even though the other team was in good form, and it wouldn’t be sensational if they won. I watched both the game and Steua were the better team, but their star striker missed the most golden opportunities, during the game the odds on Steau loosing dropped dramatically, I believe that is because there were some heavy betting on that. So for me that game sure looks suspicious.
Mr Orange if you watched that Sweden Denmark game it finished 2-2 and no one was playing for a draw, end to end for the full 90 minutes. Not saying that will be the case tonight tho

If the Caen game finishes in a draw then I will seriously reconsider football betting as a recreational activity. Yesterday in Fram Reykjavik vs Thor match, 35 minutes had passed already.
The match was in-play and to my unbelivable surprise that match was also in the “Soccer” menu like it had never been started and the odds were also just like it never started.
You know what I mean is that the match was in-play and also in the off-play menu as well.
So what I did was made two bets. First one on Under 1.5 goals and second one on over 5 corners. 6 Corners had already been given in the match. MY BET WAS ALREADY A WINNER (CORNER ONE). You know I placed the bet after the outcome was already known.
Bet365 never void my under 1.5 goals bet.
But they did void my Over 5 corners bet. Also, they made my withdrawable balance as Negative -60.00
I told them to correct my withdrawable balance so they added the balance.
They think they corrected their Mistake but all they did was gave me 60 pounds extra in their due mistake.

Please would someone care to explain to me what a cheeky bet is. Is it one where the bookie gives you £100 free-bet in return in which case I have been missing out.

Crotone have a chance here, with Latina down to 10. Crotone are better at home this season and with a win here they are right into the deep with a playoff chance. Got the quality to come back 15/8 draw 5/2 win. Balanced game until the red card.

Henry, it is hard to say mate but if you hear anything and are not sure just post on here and the guys will answer.
Its a real shame that such blatant match fixing still occurs in the modern game, in any country at any level. I guess the lesson is that if the odds seem too good to be true, then they certainly are. I only lost a humble amount, but im sure some punters lost a fair whack on that tempting home victory today. We can only hope that karma will run its course and see both teams relegated next season.

Greetings from the north! As a Swede following this site and the great tips from Mr.F and others here I just want to say thanks to you all!
Kinda new to the whole betting experience but have been trying to learn and bet more serious the last six months or so, and the tips from here and the knowledge I’ve gained has sure helped a lot!
So, once again, you have my regards and I always take the time to check in here daily to keep me updated on tips and news both from mr.F and in the comments!
And as many have said before me, football is a strange game sometimes, just watched the game between Caen and Nimes and saw two teams totally destroy the game…
Kind of makes me sad to see things go down like that, but the warnings in here were fair, hade my hopes up though since Caen were the clearly better team when the actually tried to play! But as mentioned earlier, they seemed to be very aware that a draw was enough, so 1-1 and no win.
New day tomorrow and hopefully teams that will try to actually play!

Guarani know where the net is and although General Diaz don’t score too many themselves Guaranis defence is pretty weak.
