WORLD champion Lewis Hamilton starts from pole position this morning at the Malaysian Grand Prix as he tries to make it two wins from two this season.

The British ace is just 1-3 at Ladbrokes for victory with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg next in the betting at 4-1 with William Hill.

A repeat of the Hamilton-Rosberg one-two from the season opener in Australia pays 1-2 at bet365 and Paddy Power go evens that Hamilton has the fastest lap on the Sepang track.

At the Miami Masters tennis there's some intriguing third-round ties with Gael Monfils 13-19 at bwin in his all-French battle with Jo-Wilfired Tsonga, who's priced up at 6-4 by 888sport.

Andy Murray should make light work of Santiago Giraldo Fernando, Verdasco takes on fellow Spaniard Rafa Nadal and Bernard Tomic will look to make life difficult for Tomas Berdych.

There's also the likes of golf, cycling and NBA so as always post your sporting tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.

Boys as u know it is the world cup cricket final, and while I would rather listen to the missus bang on about her day at work than watch it (apart from the ashes, cant stand the aussies) I think the kiwis can do it. As u know I delivered a big “Dave double” winner on Friday at 7-10. For me either the kiwis or aussies win this so I wud much rather be on the kiwis at 2-1 bet365. my mate norm who runs the golden globe pub and is a big cricket fan reckons Maxwell over 23.5 runs at 5-6 is great odds at betway as is smith o33.5 runs 3-5. GL if u follow I am hoping to wake up wiv a full cooked brekky, the missus a couple of chins missing and the kiwis holding the world cup aloft :D

  3. Paul 9 years ago

bet365 wouldnt give me my 110 bet from earlier that i wagered and won back 81.66 but i did get 50 quid from being polite that i put on your nba tips. fortunately i pressed the wrong button on gsw in under instead of overs n cashed out back in profit after my earlier 29 quid loss,

all on cricket n rich by monday. hv decide to put all on whoever bats first so set the alarm for 430am. do the same. whoever bats first on that ground wins 80% of games

  4. Paul 9 years ago

think gsw v miwawkee will be 99-96 so make of that what you will

  5. Paul 9 years ago

oops thats a bad prediction my 104.5 gsw might even come in now.

i thought it would stay below 100 but gsw are good. i think the have a great chance in play offs

  6. Paul 9 years ago

ok as you see i love cricket n sports not soccer. made 2k during footie off season mostly on cricket , as i said to my cuz footie is 33% (unless raal jaca) but cricket is 50%

aussie will easily get to 280 runs if they bat first. waiting on toss then sleeping(that sounds terrible)

  7. Jordan 9 years ago

Paul are you serious? ‘Gsw are good’. Er yeah? You not see my post yesterday?

  8. Jordan 9 years ago

    Nets -1.5
    Spurs -1.5
    Clippers +2.5

    13/10 @ 365

    Again, play stakes.

  9. huggybear 9 years ago

    finally a winner thanks to gs – 4.5 = 108 – 95 10/11 winner !!

also the smallish bet of gs -8 comes in too 6/4 winner !!

    some recent losses recouped..

  10. huggybear 9 years ago

probably doing spurs -7.5 home to grizzlies with side bet on -10 and looking at cavs -17 home to philly and may even play the total in the wizards game 202 seems low if hardens on his game.
    lakers 202 seems low 2

  11. Stevieloot 9 years ago

Took Hamilton rosberg 1st and 2nd at 6/5 at skybet
And for an outside bet Iv gone for kimi raikonnen to finish on podium at 6/1

The weather could mess the whole race up so check the in Play bets for some big prices.

  12. re-invented 9 years ago

Can’t believe how easy Australia have found this, I normally bet in play but I can’t really find anything of value with the way the match has turned out

  13. Brian 9 years ago

I know, shocking. There’s just nothing. I did want to lump on Australia pre-match but waited for the toss as I thought £1.45 was a little under what I would have liked.
If Australia batted first my thinking was £1.45 was then a fair price.

Left it alone for in-play but found nothing at all.

  14. Attila 9 years ago

Batting 1st or 2nd guys, the match was always Australia’s. I lumped on the $1.44 pretty heavily so pretty happy right now.

    ***POSTED YESTERDAY***

My NBA Super Single for today is:

    ***WON*** – Denver Nuggets +9.0 @ $1.92 (10 points)

Cricket World Cup AUS vs NZ:

***WON*** – NAP: Australia to WIN @ $1.44 (20 points)

***LOST*** – FUN BET: Steve Smith Top Match Batsman @ $6.00 (2.5 points)

    ***LOST*** A-LEAGUE SOCCER DOUBLE @ $1.85 odds:
    *LOST* – Wellington & Draw 1.36
    *WON* – Newcastle Jets +2.0 1.36

***LOST*** NRL RUGBY LEAGUE DOUBLE @ $2.75 odds:
*LOST* – New Zealand Warriors WIN 1.70
*WON* – Sydney Roosters 13+ Win Margin 1.62

***With my 2 main bets for the day winning & returning me about 50 points (~20 profit) im not too disappointed with my doubles both dropping a leg. Nuggets kept it close to the death as I mentioned in my write up, whilst the World Cup was easily wrapped up by Australia.

  16. Juan 9 years ago

Anyone fancy Monfils to beat Tsonga who’s only played 1 game all year after injury?

    • Ad 9 years ago

Never know what you’ll get from Gael Juan and Tsonga dominates the h2h. Could well be rusty but hard to call

  17. Jordan 9 years ago

Nothing special gents saving big money for the playoffs now.

    Bucks/Warriors Over 196.5 – 203
    Jazz/Thunder Over 185.5 – 183

    10/11 @ Skybet **LOSE**

Meh. Good stuff Huggy I had a smaller double with the ML and points alternative after you and Steve were on them.

    • huggybear 9 years ago

jordan i`m just gonna try sticking with the big scoring teams and see how it goes , still trying to get back losses from previous nights but getting there..

glad you grabbed a few quid back mate.

better not talk too much i`ll be told off…

  18. Shotty 9 years ago

    **posted last night**

Going to stick with the half time points bet and it’s the Bulls over 51.5 team points pays 8/11 @Skybet

    **Winner Winner*
    happy with another points win!

Some good looking NBA games later too

  19. Harry 9 years ago

Well that was an anticlimax. Can’t really complain that the best all round team won the tournament it’s just a shame mccullum couldn’t make the final a little more exciting. Really struggling to see how England could possibly beat this team in the summer and I’ll be investing some more on an aussie ashes victory

  20. Juan 9 years ago

I’m surprised to see Kerber at around 11/10 to beat Kuznetsova, the h2h is 3-3 but Kerber won last meeting in 2 sets & looks to be in better form, anyone any thoughts on this?

  21. Ad 9 years ago

    Giorgi d halep @ 4/1
Halep has gone walkies in a number of her recent matches. She is also very possibly mentally/ physically fatigued afer her title run last week. she had been known to wobble the tournament after titles before and Girgi had the perfect game to hurt her. Vaidisova showed in the last round how taking the ball early and hitting it hard is the way past Halep. Giorgi cannot be trusted to put in a clean performance so this Is a low stakes afair, but if she makes a decent number of first served and doesn’t make too many errors she has a good chance. Haleps second serve was there for the taking against Vaidisova and Girogi will relish attacking it if she gets a look at it. Could be a thumping if she has a nightmare like she sometimes does, but im happy to take Halep on here

Also having a small go on

Dimitrov to win miami @ 80/1
Berdych to win miami @ 25/1

With no Federer, Nadal still playing his way back to his best and Murray somewhat struggling, there must be some value in looking outside the top seeds. Novak is of course expected to win but he dropped a set against Klizan which i didn’t expect and is coming off a fairly long week in Indian Wells. He should have more than enough in the tank to go all the way here but there’s just no value at odds on.

  22. Attila 9 years ago

Good stuff Huggy. Glad I was wrong and GSW covered for ya!

    • huggybear 9 years ago

thanks mate , nice winners on the bread and butter !!

  23. huggybear 9 years ago

    main bet houston – 2.5 at 10/11 , smallish bet on houston – 5.5 at 23/20

also taking spurs -8 at 10/11 , smallish bet on spurs/grizzlies ova 197.5 at 5/4

    stoopid acca

    spurs ova 186.5
    pistons + 9.5
    lakers ova 195
    philly under 208
    clippers ova 199.5

    pays 4.76/1

hoping to continue after last nights double…

    Keep it up !

  25. Alex 9 years ago

Harry-unlucky mate. The best team won as you say. I’m contemplating going in for a very large bet on the Ashes. I know enough about cricket to say that England are not up to much.

  26. the wet lettuce 9 years ago

Well done everyone with your winners.

Lets smash them bookies tonight lol

Well done Harry great Cricket tips..unlucky with 15 overs bet..rest were spot on.

  27. Ad 9 years ago

    I also fancy

Suarez Navarro to beat Radwanska tomorrow @ 13/10.

  28. Harry 9 years ago

Alex I reckon it’s a very worthwhile investment mate. I first tipped it at evens 3 weeks ago and Australia are now 8/11 at best. I’ve put around 30 points on them so far and I’ll work out later what my profit is from this world cup and put the rest on again

  29. Attila 9 years ago

Cheers Brian, yeh I found that focusing on finding 1 SS or NAP on NBA each day is more profitable in the long run.
Glad you were on mate. I’ll post today’s bet later on when I wake in my morning.

  30. Harry 9 years ago

Wet lettuce cheers it was a great tournament. My 4 points on NZ E/W paid out 6 points too which very slightly softens the blow of the last bet slightly but still disappointed in the final. Best team won pretty easily though and didn’t seem in trouble at any stage during the 6 weeks so can’t complain. Only 4 years til the next one!

  31. Alex 9 years ago

Harry any chance I can get your email address mate, if so I can email Mr F to see if he can arrange it?

  32. Juan 9 years ago

Cheers AD – any thoughts on Kerber is she value at odds against?

  33. George 9 years ago

Juan I think it’s a risky game as tsonga can play some excellent tennis when in form but monfils has a good recent h2h and good form so I reckon he will win but like I say tsonga is no easy task if he turns up

  34. thechief 9 years ago

I did like reading this article this morning. The former Patriots player Rodney Harrison on the noise the Jets are making about knocking the Patriots off and winning the Championship.

“The Jets are, all of a sudden, on a high thinking they’re going to win a championship,” Harrison said on NBC Sports Radio “You’re not going to win a championship, you’re not even going to make the playoffs, because you don’t have a quarterback. If you go into the season and you’re expecting Geno Smith to improve, it’s not going to happen. He might get a little better, but when times get tough, when adversity hits, guess what he’s going to do? He’s going to fold just like the last couple years.”

Oh no Geno, no respite even in the off season. Antepost NFL tip the only way the Jets get to the playoffs is if 26 other franchises decided to forfeit the season :D

Huggy missed ur Houston tip raging with myself well done mate do u Jordan or Attila fancy any other results tonight thanks in advance ??

  39. huggybear 9 years ago

gutted dave wish was on they cruised it , well i think its approaching the stage in the season where BIG teams are trying to hit form defensively and offensively , so i`m gonna try and stay with sides that believe they have a chance to go far in the competition.
houston needed that second placing to avoid a first round series with the spurs , spurs play grizzlies and hopefully will want to lay down a marker.

so i`m having a go at spurs -8 , reckon this gotta chance ?

  40. huggybear 9 years ago

not a tip but a funbet as sunday tv sucks , but i`m thinking the brooklyn nets ova 103.5 team totals looks do-able.

just a 1 point bet for me.

    NBA SUPER SINGLE:

    – L.A. Lakers +8.0 @ $1.92 (10 points)

The Nets have failed to cover ATS in their last 8 straight home games, whereas the Lakers have quietly covered ATS in 10 of their last 13 games and performing admirably on the road. That’s enough for me to take the lakers with the huge head start here.

(apologies for posting so close to start time, but I just woke up in Oz).

    • huggybear 9 years ago

brooklyn have a few injuries as well attila , hope it comes in mate …

you missed that houston game then ? thought you`d have had that

  43. Attila 9 years ago

Nah mate I was asleep…forgot it was such an early game, missed it. Well done tho mate

  44. Harry 9 years ago

Alex yes of course mate go for it. Just seen this as I’ve been on a 4 hour coach trip back from Northampton haha feeling pretty delicate at the moment. Feeling a little lost without any cricket to look forward to or research to be done! Back to football I guess..

  49. Jordan 9 years ago

Haha I posted my treble last night mate and was watching the Poland game so thought I’d have some time before they all tipped off and remembered it was Sunday. Never mind Nets doing the job at the minute. I’m just waiting for the Warriors to win it all to be honest mate :D

  50. David mc 9 years ago

Yeah they look good mate score a lot of 3 points which is really hard to stop they deserve to win it for me bro

  51. David mc 9 years ago

On ur treble bro put that on earlier today gutted I missed huggys Houston tip been a good weekend

  52. Shotty 9 years ago

Just out of interest guys who would you compare GSW too in premiership football terms? Are they usually right up there or is this a stand out season for them?

  53. Jordan 9 years ago

if Curry and Thompson can stay fit they’ll win it. Best home court in the NBA and they’ll probably have it as long as they beat the Hawks overall. Only a few places giving better than 3’s now. Best are Skybet EW @ 10/2 to two places @ 1/2 odds.

  54. Jordan 9 years ago

    Ooh 10/3.

  55. Jordan 9 years ago

Shotty, this is the first time they would have finished in the top 5 of the Western (before playoffs) since 1992 but they’ve got to the Western Finals the past two seasons.

  56. Jordan 9 years ago

No sorry the 1992 part is correct but its division they’ve finished second. They haven’t won the Western or their division since 1976. Just a break out season really. You could say they are a bit like Liverpool. Haven’t won it for a couple of decades :D

  57. Shotty 9 years ago

Thanks for the info Jordan! Surprising considering the form there in and the record they have this season! I’ve only just started getting into basketball the last few months but i’m loving it! Suppose its better when you win money on it too haha

    Guys Wrestlemania 31

    Main Tip

Sting to beat triple H at 5.5 seem fair odds…double this up with Sheamus to win the Battle Royale at 7.15

Also small stakes The Rock to make an in ring appearance at 1.83

And got a good feeling of some sort of face off between Sting and the Undertaker tonight.

    All odds with Paddy Power

Enjoy to all those watching tonight

  63. the wet lettuce 9 years ago

  67. Jordan 9 years ago

  68. David mc 9 years ago

Jordan how dare u say that WWE is stage fs wat is wrong with u tonight u have changed recently first u forgot there were loads of early NBA games on early now ur saying WWE is fake wtf man next u will be telling us avatar isn’t a true story and the real avatar people are green instead of blue ktf bro

  72. thechief 9 years ago

Belichick is like the sir Alex of the NFL, Revis will be on huge amounts of cash and with Geno turning the ball over on a regular basis he will see plenty of game time :) Belichick let Wes Welker walk, now all he is doing is walking the streets hoping for a phone call, praying it isn’t from Todd Bowles.

  73. mlac 9 years ago

dont know why lebron has been mentioned so much as frontrunner for MVP he has been GARBAGE every time ive seen him. Cleveland f***** another acca up for me, never touching them again !

  74. Attila 9 years ago

    Let’s have a 2nd go at this:

    – INDIANA PACERS -1.5 @ $1.92 (10 points)

Mavericks are the better team but they haven’t gelled very well lately, especially on the road. Rondo is doing for them what they were hoping for.
Indiana has a top 5 defence, strong bench & tough home court. I think Indiana will win this with their defence in a tight low scoring grind.

  75. Attila 9 years ago

    *Rondo isn’t

  76. Jordan 9 years ago

Bookies favour the Cavs over the Warriors. 76ers keeping it till the buzzer in Cleveland :D :D :D

One more bet for me tonight its a double this time same market though half time team points!

Good luck tonight guys lets carry on the winners!

  80. thereddevils 9 years ago

I didn’t post it and you won’t believe me but i had small stakes on 76ers @22. So gutted they didn’t win it. It was close tbh :p

  81. Jordan 9 years ago

Boys if you want any other signs that the Warriors will win the championship you’re seeing it in the Cavs game ;)

  82. David mc 9 years ago

Jordan do u fancy the Spurs to win by more than 8 bro ?

  83. David mc 9 years ago

Gutted I never put the cavs on -0.5 that must have been at least 2/1 :)

  84. Jordan 9 years ago

Difficult one David mate. Memphis have really gone off the boil and lost Jeff Green the other night. Spurs have been dominant at home recently with Memphis losing to two big playoff teams, so the Spurs will probably make it a 3rd at home, but by 8, I’m not sure (which is why I took the -1.5 in my treble).

  85. Attila 9 years ago

Cheers Wet Lettuce. Yeah Pacers did me in a couple times when they hit that rough losing patch but they’re playing well again the last week.
Maybe the best play would be the UNDER in this one but I prefer Doing ATS bets.

  86. the wet lettuce 9 years ago

Lovely treble Jordan and excellent Huggy with Spurs -8 & Rockets -2.5. The two main men are back to their excellent best. Well done guys. Yeer NBA knowledge is hard to beat. Awesome stuff. Jordan&Huggy it has to be GSW this yr but the Spurs are hitting peak form at right time too!!

Hahaha they call me short fuse for a reason David.

Cheers WA. Spurs are coming into form but what the Spurs can’t do too well is win on the road, where as the Warriors can. Just think its their year mate.

Its funny that the Cavs are favs outright but i suppose the east is pretty poor so should be easy for them to reach finals!! the west is by far the toughest playoff playground but you nailed it spot on. main reason Spurs won last yr was home court adv due to #1 seed. Warriors can win H & A so they wont need many games to reach NBA finals. Curry & Co all the way mate.
