FIRST of all let's start with some good news. DeAndre is fine and plans to return to the site when he sorts out some personal business.
Loads of people have been asking about DeAndre's wellbeing and of course they've been missing his basketball tips so look out for them in the future.
There is of course basketball tonight and before that the focus will be on the Betway Premier League darts from Dublin. As you know I'm no expert but have done OK with some of my tips.
Tonight I like Gary Anderson at 8-11 with Betway v Wes Newton after winning the Players Championship at the weekend. Adrian Lewis should see off Dave Chisnall and is 4-5.
Newton plays a second game of the night against Simon Whitlock and it would be daft to have a bet until seeing how he plays first time up.
The fourth match on the oche features top Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright. Van Gerwen is 4-7 favourite with Betway but this could be Wright's fourth draw in eight outings and that returns 9-2.
Finally Phil Taylor is 4-7 to see off Raymond van Barneveld and should do so after a recent return to form.
Put your own darts and other sports tips here – and post golf tips on Ace Venturer's Valero Open preview.

Yaaay!
Have lost a small fortune on the premier league this year but will probably have some in-play bets.
Only pre -match bets 2nite will be Over 7 180s in Lewis match at evens and over 6 in the Anderson match at 11/10.
Small stakes double at 16/5.
Best of luck.
Added Over 5 180s in Van Gerwen match at 8/11.
Treble pays just over 6/1.
Great news Mr F! Missed waking up at 2am to watch a sneaky 30 mins of basketball.

2 Winners today with Imran Tahir being top bowler @5/2 for South Africa and Hashim Amla being top batsman @9/4. Sri Lanka nearly got home, but a absolutely sublime innings of 116 off 64 balls by Alex Hales denied the win. Although the bet lost I was over the moon being an Englishman and everything.
Well done lemon!
Cheers Sanj, thought I had Sri Lanka in the bag after a dismal England fielding display and then after the 1st over England being 0 for 2
I had some great earning betting on overs in darts last week. Follow Thechief tips last time i will probably give a shot in r.walker tips and also bet on every over :D
Ok so got back to winnings ways last night! Thank god!
Picked out a double and treble for tonight, hoping for at least one coming up. The double is my stronger pick so upto you.
Double pays:
San Jose (in reg)
St. Louis Blues
Double pays 1.5/1 ish
Treble is going to be:
Nashville
Tampa bay
Colorado
Pays 2.2/1
Good luck guys, any questions I’ll pop back on
MVG Wright
Over 5.5 180’s
10/11 @ Betfair Exchange
Anyone knows the score in the first two dart matches tonight?
NEWTON 6 WHITLOCK 6
LEWIS 6 CHISNALL 6
Cheers Ral, had Lewis to win so that ones out the window.
MVG made us all sweat. No love lost between him and Wright I assume?
Mvg you are the king! Hope people got on that
Aye bit of showboating by wright didn’t please MVG so think he enjoyed that finish!
2 Good games on tomorrow in the WT20.
First up is West Indies Vs Australia followed up by hosts Bangladesh Vs India.
First game seems to be shaping up to be a close encounter. West Indies have won 1 out of there 2 games and currently lie 2nd, whereas Australia have played the 1 game and lost and currently lie 4th in the group. For me Australia will win this one as I felt they were unlucky not to win against Pakistan and a few mental errors let them down. With Finch and Maxwell banging some runs around I’m sure Australia have the batting lineup to post a good total or chase anything down, and it can’t be too long before David Warner has an explosive innings of his own. Whereas West Indies were completely outplayed by Group leaders India only to come back with a win against a relatively under par Bangladesh side. West Indies opener Chris Gayle who everyone tipped to be leading run scorer has struggled to score at a substantial rate, whether this is because of a slight injury it is yet to be said. Other than a few lusty blows from Gayle and Smith at the top of the order the rest of the West Indies order is yet to fire and if the Aussie paceman like Starc, Bollinger and Coulter-Nile can get rid of Gayle and Smith early on, then I think the West Indies batting lineup could be looking very fragile. The only chance I see West Indies having is if the 2 West Indies opening bowlers Santokie and legspinner Badree can make early inroads into the Aussie batting lineup.
Australia WIN @4/7
Top Bowler: Badree @7/2
Top Batsman: Shane Watson @4/1 – Aaron Finch @11/4
The second game should be nothing more than a straightforward India WIN as they are shaping up to be one of the favourites for the tournament. With batsman like Rohit Sharma firing along with the talent of Kohli, Dhawan, Raina and Yuvraj in the top order you need to think atleast 1 or 2 of them are gonna hit some big runs. India’s bowling is also looking very solid as they are very much suited to this Bangladesh wickets. With opening bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar showing some form against the West Indies through bowling 3 overs for only 3 runs in an inspired show on how to bowl away swing, he didn’t give Dwayne Smith a chance to get his arms free which amounted to him scoring 11 runs off 29 balls. Then onto the spinners with the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Mishra bowling beautifully in tandem. These 2 have an amass of variations and are very good at taking wickets and keeping the run rate down. I’m not going to go into too much detail on the Bangladeshis as they have been simply awful, compounded by their humiliating loss to Hong Kong, it seems as though they have been over-roared by the occasion of hosting a world cup in front of their fans.
India WIN @1/6
For better value the Headline offer at William Hill is Shikhar Dhawan top bat and India WIN @7/2 (Not so sure)
Top Bowler: Going to back the opening bowler B Kumar @9/2
Top Batsman: I feel its a day for Suresh Raina @7/1 if India bat first, if not then back 1 of the top 3, my pick would be Rohit Sharma who is in good form @11/4
paddy power havent priced up players tonight
had a nice double last night with lebron & jefferson
would have gone for harden & nowitzki tonight
have gone for a small double on lakers & mavs just for an interest
good write up lemon
i’m not so sure about australia
think their bowling is really short
baldy doug, starc and coulter nile can all get tonked as proven by pakistan
hogg is steady enough but i would like if they had more spinners or dobbers
i would never write off the windies at t20
whilst the windies badly miss pollard
i think badree, narine & santokie all look like taking wickets and even sammy can bowl well on the sub continet
they are heavily reliantfor batting on gayle and often its the big occasion when he performs
so if i was betting anything it would be small stakes on windies at odds against
john b
cant believe you never tipped up castleford tonight
didn’t even know they were playing
since you tipped up clark a few weeks back i have been following his progress
was gutted when i seen they had scored 54 points tonight
but thankfully i never missed him scroing a try
hopefully it will come soon when i have a few quid on

That was the bet mate. Just did £2.5 trebles so £10 all together and got £330 back in the end!
Massively let down by the Mavericks tonight. Lost me a £125 stake at 6/4 odds. At one point, I nearly put a £10 covering bet on the clippers at 11/1 when they were ten points behind – had a bad feeling. Turns out my bad feeling was right, and by the time I mustered up the strength of conviction to attempt to cover the away money line, the odds had reduced to 6/4.
Always happens to me – that’s one of many of March’s kick in the Harry Halls! Back to rebuilding!….
A potential cracker on card today in the World T20..Aussies vs West Ind…Australia lost to Pak in a thriller the other day and now will face WI who if not better are on par with Pak in the variety in bowling dept(narine,badree,santokie,bravo)..the other day though maxwell played a beauty i feel he was lucky and cant see him doing that again..and also i feel its high time for that blistering gayle innings..so i fancy West Indies to win
West indies @ 2.4
In the other match i have a gut feeling that the match might be close despite the quality of indians..so back bangladesh @ 5.0 in the exchanges so that we can cashout for some profit.
So unlucky again last night! March has just not been good to me! Blackhawks let down the treble, sharks let down the riskier treble yet again! Rockets let down the nba treble by 3 points!! Luckily with NCAAB back on they delivered the goods so not all too
bad!
Another winner for me last night!! Had my juicy treble come up so thAts great news for anyone who was on it! Going to try make it 3 in a row for my hatter :)
That’s twice the sharks have let me down now!!! At there home arena aswell!!! Hopefully back to winningg tonight
So 2 in row for me, im hoping to make it 3. Its been nice to get things back to winning ways with even myself doubting myself with the things were going. Tonight I have another double and treble. Fingers crossed!
Double:
Pittsburgh Penguins
Anaheim Ducks
Pays 2/1
Treble
New York Rangers
Chicago Blackhawks
Philadelphia Flyers
Pays 3.23/1
Good luck guys!
Hope you guys are on the us sports tonight guys! Let’s keep this thread going and even if your not a big fan or gambler just pop up and share your tips and fancies.
Yessss! Come on guys
WTA Miami – Serena Williams vs Li Na
It is the final of the WTA Sony Open later tonight, and the two top ranked players will be facing off against one another.
Williams is the over-whelming favourite having won at Miami six times in her career, and she clearly loves playing and winning at the Crandon Park Tennis Centre.
Williams also has a 10-1 winning record against Li Na, including the last nine going back to 2008.
However, despite this record, these Williams-Li Na match ups tend to be close affairs, and so the handicap and overs markets come into play.
William Hill has set the market as over 20.5 games. 10 of the 11 times that these two have played, there have been over 20.5 games, including both matches that they have played in Miami. The one match that went under 20.5 games was last year at the U.S. Open, when Williams destroyed Li Na 6-0. 6-3, but she was bang in form, and playing much better than she currently is. Also, Li Na will surely have gained confidence from her Australian Open win earlier in the year.
Recommended bet: Over 20.5 games (5/6)
Sorry guys been very busy last few days!
Big card tonight and this is what I fancy
Montreal Canadiens vs. Florida Panthers
The Canadiens are hot right now, so this looks like a good spot to add them to our NHL picks. They’ve won four straight and seven of eight. They’ve given up just 18 goals in their last eight games. On the flip side, Florida is a mess. They’ve lost four of five, eight of 11 and 16 of their last 22. The challenge for them is putting pucks in the net as they’ve been shut out twice in their last four games. They have scored just six goals in their last five games.
This is a mismatch, so take the Canadiens.
Canadiens 4/7
Dallas Stars vs. St. Louis Blues
St. Louis Blues will be hosting a Dallas Stars team that has lost five of eight and has been particularly bad on the road. The Stars have lost six of their last seven games on the road, although that one win did come in St. Louis. Still, the Stars are in a tight back-to-back situation here and you can bet that the Blues will want some revenge for what happened the last time these two teams met. The difference in that meeting was that the Stars came into the game on a two-game winning streak and that win proved to be their fourth in five games. Now they’re in a big slump and have been outscored 20-7 in their last four road games.
The Blues are on a roll as they’ve won 11 of their last 14. They’ve allowed two goals or less in 10 of those games. Combined with the fact that Dallas allows the fourth-most goals per game on the road (3.23) and we should see the Blues come away with another win here.
Im on blues -1.5 at 27/20 but for treble we will go blues money line.
Blues 4/9
That double pays 1.26/1
Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Detroit Red Wings
When the Maple Leafs are on, they can compete and cause trouble for anyone in the NHL. Their top line of Tyler Bozak, Phil Kessel and James van Reimsdyk are still producing offensively, and their power play, which is ranked third in the NHL, has scored in three of the last four games. They are even getting production from the defensemen as Jake Gardiner has nine points (including five goals) this month, while Dion Phaneuf and Morgan Reilly have combined for 14 points in March.
The Wings are shorthanded without their two top dogs (Datsyuk and Zetterberg), and they simply won’t be able to keep up offensively. They have lost three in a row coming into this game, allowing 13 goals along the way. That’s going to spell trouble on Saturday night, so take a shot with the Leafs.
Leafs 5/6
Treble pays 3.16/1
I also like these
Lightning
Canucks
Avs
4.77/1
Kings
Coyotes
Hurricanes
3.62/1
Feel free to mix and match good luck
