THERE was a difference opinion last week but in the end neither of our junior tipsters had any joy.
Let's hope the guys can do better this weekend.
Owen writes: IT’S getting desperate now as I’m in October and still looking for a winning treble. Hopefully when the first one arrives others will quickly follow.
It’s Junior Cup week next week so I might need to abandon my no odds-on shot policy but not this Saturday.
My first choice today is my own club Cumnock who are 17-10 at home to Petershill. History is against Nock as they are yet to beat Petershill on league duty and every victory they have had over the Peasies has been away from Townhead Park.
Despite all of this I’m on Cumnock to win. My next selection is another tough one and I’m taking Tayport at 5-4 away to Dundee Violet.
Both sides will be happy with the start they’ve made but I’ve been impressed with Port despite losing a league cup match v Violet this season. They can win and keep up the challenge to favourites Ballingry.
Tomorrow I’m taking Auchinleck Talbot at 1-1 to win the Ardagh Cup Final in 90 mins against Irvine Meadow at Beith. Talbot have been in superb form with Medda struggling and with injuries.

First up is Banchory to beat Hall Russell up in the North Region. This one is based purely on price as Hills have this game priced completely opposite to us. We make Banchory even money favourite whilst Hills make Hall Russell the even money favourite – Banchory . Lets hope it is us that is correct
Next up is Newtongrange to beat Glenrothes. Grange have let me down a few times this season but I am led to believe that Glenrothes are still struggling with injuries so I cant see them slipping up this time. We are 3/5 with Hills 8/13 so not much disagreement
Finally, I am taking a punt on Forfar West End to beat Penicuik at 7/4 with Hills which I think offers some value – we are just 11/8. West End had a great result against Montrose last week and will be keen to test themselves against higher opposition.
