TopTips_10Bet

AFTER being unlucky with Sunday's Super Single – which was covered – I was more fortunate with Monday's 7pt effort.

It was a tennis treble that paid 13-10 and needed Kei Nishikori to win a deciding set to bring it up. Then in just 90 minutes I managed to land FIVE Super Singles in the Chile v Peru Copa America semi-final.

Going into the final day of June my Super Single losses were down 17.4pts but my five red-hot Chile bets ensured a 12pts profit and I'm taking 0.4pts off for covering Chile to win and Chile and btts late on. My three other winning tips were Chile to score 2+, both teams to score and a red card in the match.

While I fancied Chile big time and backed them pre-tournament to reach the Final I part credit We Love Betting for the tips on the Peru game. Their match previews have been excellent so check out their thoughts on Argentina-Paraguay when they're posted.

So having been down almost 30pts at one stage last week I have a chance to end June level or in profit. My Super Single total is now -5.4pts and I have 21.6pts to play with because my aim is never to risk losing more than 10pts in one day.

I've worked hard to reduce the losses so I'm not going to risk losing 21.6pts

I'll post a separate preview of the second Copa America final between Argentina and Paraguay and elsewhere it may still be June but Tuesday heralds the opening games in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers which just seems unreal.

In the Champions League we have three clashes of the minnows with Pyunik v Folgore, Lincoln Red Imps v Santa Coloma and Crusaders v Levadia Tallinn. The three Europa League ties are Balzan v Zeljeznicar, Progres Niedercorn v Shamrock Rovers and Renova v Dacia Chisinau.

Looking at these games the on team being backed heavily are Levadia and while Crusaders looks short on fitness and players it's not one I can do confidently.

Some of these teams I'm happy to say I've never heard of and some will never be heard of again after the two-legged ties.

I'd favour sides who are in the middle of their season such as Shamrock Rovers and I'm hoping today's RFO provides the stats and form I need to help me make some selections.

It's also the European Under-21 final between Portugal and surprise guys Sweden. Portugal have looked the best side throughout the tournament and their 5-0 semi-final defeat of pre-tournament favourites Germany was exceptional.

Sweden reached the last four by netting a last-gasp equaliser in their final group game against Portugal – a result that knocked out Italy. It's the only goal Portugal have conceded and you have to fancy them to lift the trophy.

They are 5-6 with Ladbrokes to win in 90 minutes and 2-5 with the same firm to win the tie.

So for now I'm putting up a tennis fourfold as a Super Single and a couple of football bets – Portugal as well as both to score in Argentina v Paraguay which I recommended yesterday at 13-10 with Coral.

While my Super Single tally has a chance of finishing up the Daily Double/Top Treble total remains disappointing and I'm having one attempt to sort it. It's a 1.5pt bet on an accumulation of today's Super Singles plus both to score in the women's World Cup semi-final between Germany and USA. I'm only doing it because it's the last day of the month – so don't all rush in.

If the tennis bet wins I may add to the Super Singles but later the site could be down as maintenance work is carried out so beware of that.

    Evening gents,

The Icelandic game finished 1-2, excellent cover was there for Under 3.5 after 46 minutes when the third went in and tried to post – after 60 minutes cover was still 2/1 but again post didn’t show…I hope anyone following took the initiative and sorry for any that didn’t or couldn’t.

Chile v Peru looks a tasty one and I think Chile will nail this one – yes, Peru have shown more than a bit of mettle but for me this is where a classy Chile side kick on.

    Bets to consider:

    Chile -1 on the h/cap at 6/5

Alexis Sanchez 2+ goals at 5/1

    Over 3.5 goals at 12/5.

    Good luck

    Evening gents

Anybody have any idea if players who have picked up yellow cards have had them cleared as it’s the semi final?

I know in the World Cup and champions league they clear the amount of cards a player has picked up at the semi final stage to avoid a player being suspended for the final , just asking as im not to sure of the ruling of this tournament

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Picksix, resets after the group stage so a yellow in last eight and last four would rule a player out of the final.

  7. tonybhoy 9 years ago

any tips for 1st goalscorers in the chile v peru game

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

tonybhoy, tough one – it could be 3 or 4 from Chile or Guerrero. Reckon I’ll fall asleep before kick-off but have set my alarm for HT to monitor the situation with 10pts staked.

  8. Jordan 9 years ago

Picksix they clear them from the group stages but start again in the knockouts.

  9. Picksix 9 years ago

    Jordan cheers mate

ive been thinking of taking the cards totals to go under 6.5 even though it’s against all the stats of this tournament, players should be a bit more cautious approach and not want to miss the final , gonna do a quick but of research before the game starts to see who and how many players maybe a yellow away from a suspension before I go for it

  10. Jordan 9 years ago

    No worries mate.

Can anybody tell me if there were any odds for a Brazilian womens team called Osasco Audax on Saturday evening? I’d noted that game down a couple of weeks ago to be an absolute mauling but forgot about it as I had that wedding. Turns out they won 15-0. Would just like to know if anyone saw it on 365 or somewhere.

Jordan et all, as predicted I fell asleep and there was a red card – a nice 3-1 double. A 2-1 Chile win would be lovely but at least I have something to play with in tonight’s matches. Good luck to everyone staying up for the second half – if I wasn’t working tonight I’d make more of an effort.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Harry, the excitement’s got to me and I’ve woken up – which may be just as well. It’s 3 guaranteed winners and the Chile win and Chile and btts can almost be covered fully with 0.4pts on the draw at 12-1 with bet365. Let’s do it – big profit either way.

    Repost: from last night

    Evening Guys, Chile v Peru

Keep it brief again with the site acting up, I’m taking both teams to score. Chile have played some good attacking football, while Peru have a goal threat him in the shape of Paolo Guerrero who is coming off a hat trick.

The stats don’t back up this tip but that is why it is 13/10 Boyles with only 2 of the last 6 head to heads seeing both teams scoring, however 3 of those games were friendlies and Peru have scored in 7 of their last 9 games and at the odds I think it is worth risking.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE 13/10 WON :D

    1-1 after 60 mins

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

thechief, it’s all going well and anyone who thinks Peru can do a Bodo Glimt can have 250-1 – but it can’t happen with 10 men can it?

  26. koplegends 9 years ago

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

koplegends, I can’t see past Portugal after the way they beat Germany. I’ll have to work out my tactics carefully now I’ve got a good chance of wiping out the Super Single deficit.

    • Jordan 9 years ago

I know mate, it’s still -4 @ BWIN but I don’t have an account. Speaking of which does anybody use BWIN? Worth opening an account there?

  28. koplegends 9 years ago

was strongly thinking on going portugal -1 but settled on 2 or more think they will win with change

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

koplegends, Germany are supposed to be a better team than Sweden so if Portugal turn it on they could win easily but it’s a final so will be more tense. I’m happy to take Portugal just to win at 5-6.

  29. Picksix 9 years ago

Going against stats paid off , chile definetely came into the gAme with a more cautious approach more pressing than hard tackles, didn’t look good after 30 mins but there was not a single card shown after the red

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Picksix, well done – it’s a strange there was just the two bookings for the Peru bloke. I hear though Vidal could have been sent off before that.

Morning all…A nice nights work Mr Fix It…Full house!

There is really not a lot on today but one price I couldn’t turn my nose up is in the Women’s game at midnight.

    USA Women v Germany Women

    Germany Women to win 33/20

Okay they made hard work of it against the French but Germany will want to put their iffy performance against France behind them.

The US have been very disappointing. Wambach is one player that on her day can be a match winner but even she’s had a torrid time of it (not even made the starting 11) in the quarter final.

The Americans possess too many weak links for me as opposed to the Germans who have looked solid enough throughout.

Can’t see the Germans not winning this and I think they’ll win this with room to spare.

The 23/5 on offer for -1 is also very tempting.

    • Steve 9 years ago

Craigyboy–well spotted on the woman’s Germany vs USA game, history of the 2 sides does show plenty of draws and a few German losses but always plenty of goals…il be going btts at 1/1 with 365 which from what I can see is a smashing price!,good luck bud!

  39. Joe 9 years ago

Since when did you put up a list of super singles and bet on all of them. I’ve known you to make a list and chose one. Seems convenient they all won since you needed to wipe the terrible deficit for June.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Joe, all day I said I’d put up tips on the Chile game if my tennis treble won and that’s what I did.
Not sure what “seems convenient they all won”. I called the game correctly and it’s a shame people like you would prefer to see losers tipped.

  45. Jordan 9 years ago

Joe it was also convenient that Mr F had this thread up and all Chile tips before the game kicked off.

    Cheers Mr Orange!

  46. JonnyUTD 9 years ago

Joe, Mr F had these tips up like 6hours before the game kicked off!

I must say, I completely lost confidence in your tips for this month Mr F after some of the results(don’t take it personally, it’s a lot of money to lose), BUT I was blown away by last nights tipping, and it shows you still have it! Luck just hasn’t been on anyone’s sides this month. Understandably difficult when we haven’t got our European top football on. So well done Mr F, fantastic tipping. Onwards and upwards! :)

Just had a look at the games coming up. A man united, city, Chelsea treble pays 3/1 bet365. I know it’s abit early, but can’t see the big guns slipping up straight away! Yes United did last season, but I’m sure the new recruits coming in will blow away spurs.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

JonnyUtd, thanks. Any sane gambler knows June will always be a difficult month – no matter how much I research certain teams I don’t know how they’re going to do under certain condiitons or without certain players. I haven’t lost faith in myself because of some bad and some unlucky results.

  51. Andy 9 years ago

Jonny utd you must keep the faith with mr f and others. I have been around along time on here as a watcher really and as long as you have discipline you will make money. Surely that is the key regardless of treble super singles etc being sometimes slated. Whatever Mr f thinks will win should have a good reasoning behind it why it should come out with a profit.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Andy, maybe next year I’ll change Super Single and Top Treble to Nap and NB – they’re just tags. This season’s the first full season doing points and that’s why I’ve had changed tact a bit. Maybe too much emphasis is put on the stats and again I may decide to leave them off or do what Johnb does and make them all for 1pt if it’s causing concerns.

I’m not saying the tips weren’t up before the game started. They were and great job for that. My point is that at least during the regular season Mr.F would upload a list of singles and would usually pick one or two. The point I’m making is whether if these tips had lost would he have taken the points off his deficit or just claimed to have bet on the one tip. If Mr.F did in fact bet on all the tips then I’ll shut up. On a regular Saturday during the season he wouldn’t bet on all his tips otherwise he would usually have a bad deficit for that day.

    • the watcher 9 years ago

And with 10 points staked on Chile game, if they had gone down there would be no tips tonight as Mr f would have used his 10 points a day allowance, unless it was a loss chasing exercise. Which is against his principals.

    • PeteT 9 years ago

      @The Watcher

Add the fact he said he’d only tip the Chile game after he saw how his tennis SS went during the day.

I find it crazy – the man’s tips lose and people moan, the man’s tips do exceptionally well and people moan. Man can’t win with some people!

    • the watcher 9 years ago

      Strange world Mr Pete.
I wouldn’t like to be under the barrage of abuse he and johnb gets when they lose.
Its as if we punters are paying them, which we don’t.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Joe, give it a rest honestly. You’re embarrassing yourself now.

  68. Dreamkiller 9 years ago

I am a neutral but Mr F did say “I can’t see past Chile in their Copa America semi-final against Peru and will put up some tips for that later and maybe add a Super single considering it doesn’t kick off until the early hours of Tuesday morning. Chile are a best 7-8 at Bet365 minus one and it looks decent value.”

You could argue the Chile -1 was a tip but wasn’t put up and the tips and a SS became 5 SS’s.
As I say it doesn’t bother me and I am merely pointing it out that if I saw the original post I would not have expected 5 SS’s …. or maybe I am just wrong lol.

Argentina will do well now the pressure is on.I think Paraguay will bottle it.
Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano will have to take care, as will Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, as all three have a yellow card to their name.

Ulster my friend how’s things? I may be wrong here and as much as I love to see our wee country’s teams do well I just think Tallinn mate be a step too far for the hatchet men, carvil is a gem of a signing for them though! I remember about 2 years ago watching yous on one of the live sky games and from then on I rated him highly,he just controlled the game like a mini paul scholes.my bet for tonight is Tallinn o1.5tgs @11/10 and I’m gonna have a wee double of Tallinn 1.5,u21s game o1.5mgls @1.86/1 :-) good luck boys!

USA Women v Germany Women 00.00

    Bets for tonight:

    4 points:
    Germany Women to win
    Best Price now 8/5
    Bet Victor

    2 points:
    Germany Women over 1.5 TG
    2/1
    Unibet

Have already mentioned previously that the Germans will be fired up after there poor performance against France and the US really haven’t impressed me.

    1 point on:
Sasic to score and Germany to win
    4/1
    Paddy Power

    1 point on:
Mittag to score and Germany to win
    9/2
    Paddy Power

    The mad one:

    Germany Women over 1.5 TG

    Germany Women over 4.5 corners

Over 2.5 cards in the game

    6.4/1
    Bet 365

So it’s either going to go well or end in disaster. I really fancy the Germans though.

    Women’s World Cup

    USA vs Germany

    * HT Result – Draw @ 21/20

USA have only conceded 1 goal throughout the tournament, although the Germans seem to be a league above the other teams the U.S. have played I can’t see them breaking them down to the latter stages , The USA offensively don’t seem to crucial and the majority of there goals have come in the second half. I’m expecting a cautious goalless first half

  113. Tee 9 years ago

Cards might be a decent bet in the Argentina game. Ref is the guy who took charge of Chile Uruguay where he dished out 6 yellows and 2 further yellows to cavani and fucile. Argentina Paraguay saw 7 yellows in the group game. High number at 6.5 cards at evens but has a chance of landing. Might just take red card in the match

  121. HullShaker 9 years ago

    Evening gents,

I tipped goals in the Afterelding game tonight and it finished 2-0.

That is the 3rd consecutive Icelandic game that has lost goals-wise and after a very good spell its time to take stock.

I mentioned a few times that these games see goal bonanzas throughout the earlier part of the season and then tend to level out as do the bookmakers pricing of them.

Seem to have reached this point again and I am acutely aware that people may have lost their hard-earned last few nights so not fair to continue putting them up.

Hope it’s opened up another league to look at for some as it can be a very profitable one…keep an eye on those Icelandic U19 games.

Onto tonight and I will have to go with the German v USA ladies game to see over 3.5…low stakes at 9/2.

Good luck lads – it’s a great site Mr F and much appreciated for all the work that goes into it from you and the rest of the admin team.

  130. Jack 9 years ago

Can’t moan because on the whole its been a good day but a single on Argentina to win and I refused cover at 2-0 thinking they can’ throw it away again (taken it now at 15/2) and a double on Argentina RT2 and Germany to qualify and they miss a penalty…ah gambling is a cruel game.

  131. Jordan 9 years ago

Nice to see Di Maria looking like the player he was when he first came to United. Hopefully a good pre season under his belt and he’ll be firing on all cylinders for the new term.

    • Jack 9 years ago

Jordan, I really rate him but he is without a doubt best as a number 10. Which as I’ve said a million times (and was called a bitter Chelsea fan) makes the Mata signing pointless as he’s useless on the wings, Kagawa was also good there but never given enough time in my opinion. For me, Rooney up top, Di Maria down the middle Depay on the left and whoever you feel like on the right I guess…

  132. Jordan 9 years ago

Difficult to say what his best position is for me Jack but there’s no doubt he can play anywhere across the midfield. Agree with that line up but the only problem with that is that we don’t have many options at RM. Young, ok had a good season but not a world beater, Valencia has declined every year too, Januzaj doesn’t make the right decisions. Think Mata behind Rooney with Di Maria/Depay on whichever side they like and switch it up is our best formation at the moment.

  133. Jordan 9 years ago

To be honest I absolutely love Mata and I’m glad he got his chances halfway through the season and ended up being one of our best players. You must have been upset you sold him.

    • Jack 9 years ago

I think at Madrid he came into his own at number 10. Honestly, upset we sold him because he always came across as such a lovely guy and he was awesome for us/is world class. However, I am of the belief he wasn’t willing to track back enough and as a Chelsea fan I don’t like that, hence why I love Oscar/and even more so Isco. He also is average on the wings.

So, upset to see a lovely and great player go but for 38 million worth it for me, and a slight panic buy for you because you really didn’t/don’t need him with Di Maria, Rooney, Kagawa all more than capable before or now.

  134. Jordan 9 years ago

Very true but that is David Moyes for you. Doesn’t seem too bad now that Kagawa is gone, but agree his work rate isn’t the best. I think that’s because he lacks pace. Think Van Gaal will stick with Mata behind Rooney. Still a lot of work to be done at United. Decent RB, CB and perhaps a striker with Van Persies future looking doubtful. Lots of time for that though.

    • Jack 9 years ago

Yeah but I just think its that kind of mentality that some of these players have, perhaps a Valencia thing (see David Silva). If you sign Ramos as seems likely, I think you need a striker with van Persie’s age and injuries I wouldn’t trust just Rooney and Hernandez. I see us winning the league again (2nd time I’ve said that in 6 years I’m not biased I swear!) you or Arsenal 2nd and City 4th.

  135. Jordan 9 years ago

Top four surely looks the same as last season but in what order I’m not sure, but I’d agree you’re favourites again. Ramos certainly looks like he could be coming if he does leave Madrid but I’m really not sure what to make of it. Knows how to win, but a bit of a hot head. Suppose that never hurt us too much in the past (Keane, Vidic). Pleanty of time for transfers. I don’t take too much notice of this media talk as its not in Uniteds book to have open talks. I’d happily see Hernandez stay as our rotation player, love him. Wilson in the upcoming ranks who I rate very much but Falcao hindered his chances. Think he would have made a better impact than Falcao.

    • Jack 9 years ago

Agreed, I will be annoyed if we don’t strengthen because we’ve won the league (much like City) I don’t think we have that much option in midfield past the starters. Yeah Ramos is a strange one but quality no less. Interested to see how Falcao does for us next season if he signs. Don’t think he’s totally done yet…wow Argentina!

  136. Jordan 9 years ago

Haha I know mate. 6 goals and none from Messi…

I said to a mate it’ll be like you to sign Falcao and he’ll bang 30 goals away but on the basis of his season for us I don’t know why you’re in for him.

    • Jack 9 years ago

Wait for the rumours of Messi is finished.

Just like him to bang in 30 for us…!? Need I remind you of Torres, Shevchenko, Kezman, Sutton et al? Mourinho thinks he was recovering from the injury still, is more suited to our style of play and van Gaal didn’t have the faith in him, but we shall see. I’m happy with him or Remy as 2nd choice.

I’m off to bed to be up in time for the tennis, look forward to any of your tips. Night mate.

  137. Jordan 9 years ago

This is true. It’s more of a ‘why didn’t you do that for us’ comment from me but we’ll see. Good talk. Night mate.
