IT'S been two quiet days but we're back with a bang with the first of three Euro 2016 quarter-finals on Saturday.
First up it's Poland v Switzerland followed by Wales v Northern Ireland and hopefully an evening cracker between Croatia and Portugal.
I'll post separate previews on all three and meanwhile I've got some top tips with more added in the morning possibly.
My last two Super Singles have provided me with 10pts profit on short-priced doubles and that's the way I'm going again on Saturday. Wales and Croatia are both odds against to win and while I think they will for the SS I'm taking them both not to lose.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and wouldn’t we have loved to have that insight of low scoring games and late goals that have dominated the Group stages…I certainly would as my Euro selections have been pretty much a shambles thus far.
We can but take what we’ve learnt about each team into the next stage though and the thing that resonates with me is that there is little if no kamikaze/gung ho strategy employed by any team left and I cannot see that changing.
Player fitness and resilience is so different to tournaments past and that will inevitably lead to wars of attrition on the pitch.
On current form, my ramblings are perhaps best ignored but I see the draw/extra time and penalty markets offering the most potential in terms of value throughout this next stage and tomorrow sees two games that are primed with both teams likely to budge not an inch.

Someone once said “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. I am following that advice for my followers and newbies by advising another NAP & NB on one of my favourite nations getting corners, Portugal.
I won some of you plenty of cash by highlighting the fact that Portugal like to play with width, hence leaning us to team corners. I appreciate the fact Croatia are the best team the Portuguese will have faced however this may lead to a more attacking game, and this is why I am tipping 6+ corners as my NAP and 7+ as my NB. I have reposted the tips I advised on the previous Portugal game, which I think may gave any newbie followers a bit more confidence in the tips. I researched their previous games and I DID say they had hit double figures in corners in both their last games.

Against Ukraine he came desperately close but just screwed a shot wide and narrowly headed over the bar when positioned in the six yard box. The swiss were carved open multiple times by Albania and their defence was troubled by Romania so the prospect of trying to contain one of Europe’s most clinical finishers doesn’t look good for them.

In previous threads, some have mentioned the 30 minute draw, been trying them in the last few games of the group stages with not a whole lot of success. Just wondering if these knockout stages are the time to do this, you will have some ‘lesser’ teams against the favorites like France, Belgium and Germany who will likely set up shop and try and get a goal on the counter, other matches like Spain v Italy, England v Iceland, I can imagine teams just testing each other out and not throwing everything right from the get go.
Am thinking about doing a 7-fold acca (excluding the Poland game obviously) and also doubles on each of the game days. a 7-fold acca currently pays 22.47/1 and 18.54 with Betfair Acca Edge.
Anyone has any thoughts on this or what games they think might not archive this?
England/Iceland might be a good one. Can see England ending up with 70% plus possession while Iceland sit back and tries to counter. They certainly won’t make it open. Not so certain on any of the other games though, Prime.
Appreciate the response man, yeah, with England, they are not very clinical in front of goal, same with Germany, Italy is defending great and not brilliant in attack, France also not clincal, I am a bit weary of the Wales, Portugal games tonight, other than that, I don’t think the acca is too bad.
