I ADOPTED a different tactic with the Super Single on Sunday and landed an 8pt winner.
Strangely, I received more criticism than praise for the pick but I'd rather choose an even-money treble than a loser.
The Super Single is just a tag – I've often put up doubles in the past and when the card gives me nothing I like at a good price I'll put up any sort of bet I think has a winning chance. It should only be slammed if it's a loser.
The treble was on England and Portugal Under-21s not to lose as well as Rosenborg win or draw. I was unlucky with the Top Treble as only Bodo Glimt's failure to score at home to Viking beat it.
But my 3-1 golf match bet treble landed at the US Open thanks to Sergio Garcia, Geoff Ogilvy and Rory McIlroy – so overall it was a better day.
There's not much happening on Monday unless you're a Finnish football fan. I've has a look at some of those matches as well as Norway v England and USA v Colombia in the Women's World Cup.
For the Top Treble and I'm on two short-priced Finnish sides who should see off lowly opposition – second-placed Rops at home to Ilves and leaders HJK at home to Jaro.
I can't see Norway losing to England in Canada and complete the treble with them not to lose. Norway were runners-up in Euro 2013 and have been World Cups semi-finalists four times. They are a best 19-10 at Ladbrokes and 888sport to win and that looks a big against a side who didn't impress in the group stages.
For the Super Single it's a double (that's two picks for those who didn't understand yesterday's winner) and I'm adding Norway women to score to HJK.

Just read your comment from yesterday Jordan mate and yeah, you’ve had a very good month i have to say and you’ve landed some excellent calls. Seen some succulent value in tonights game between Oddevold and Norrby in the Swedish Division 1 Sodra at 6pm.
Yesterdays Swedish games threw up no surprises, goals galore everywhere you look. Besides the Motala game, that game forgot its lines. The Sodra league brought up a total of 12 goals in all three games with BTTS coming in, and the general consensus say tonight will be no different.
Two teams at the opposite end of the table. A win for Oddevold will see them second, they were no doubt rubbing their hands with an evil grin when Orgryte blew their chance against Trelleborg yesterday and its a must win (4/7 @Bet Victor) with the added bonus of increasing goal difference against a lowly Norrby. Oddevold have not lost at home so far this season and Norrby are yet to pick up 3 points away from home.
Oddevold battered Eskilsminne 5-2 in their last home game, with striker Victor Mollapolci grabbing a hat trick. The 24 year old should be hip thrusting his way onto the pitch tonight.
Norrby are dire so far, sitting 2 points clear of bully boys Lund in the relegation zone. Any result from this game and they’re still stuck in 13th. They’ll no doubt try and turn things around, but Oddevold are not a likely candidate at this stage. However, Norrby are capable of scoring here, twice in 3 times previously. 4 of their last 5 aways saw BTTS (albeit against lower ended teams) and Oddevold saw the same in 3 of their last 5 homes. I toyed with over 3.5 goals (6/4 @32 Red). Make no mistake, I see goals. But who’s gonna bring it up? 2-2? I cant see Norrby getting 2 or a draw here. 3-1 Oddevold seems like a decent scorecast (12/1 @Various), but I’m not a scorecast man.

Cheers Danny my good man. The NBA doesn’t start till October mate, but the NFL is on the horizon (September) which is where I’ll be focusing the most up to Christmas. I only really got involved with the NBA because the NFL finishes in January. Jordan we seem to have been linked with half of Spain, benzema Alves etc until I see cold hard cash on table then it’s all rumours we need a centre half, right back midfielder and striker plus a keeper so lot of work needed. Feel like schweinsteiger gets linked a lot like sneijder used too. We been linked with hummels for 2 years. Just bring in pirlo for a year whilst we sort defence out and go big to secure hummels or he will end up at arsenal
Agree Hummels is the one we need at the back. Young but still experienced and the talent is there. Like you I’m skeptical of any transfers though until its done. We are getting linked to anybody who sneezes at the moment. All paper talk at the moment.
