TopTips_10Bet

AFTER a run of losers on the Super Singles I suggested just two bets on Friday but didn't put up both to score at Mexico-Ecuador as a main tip or later on Chile -1.

A price drop from 4-5 to 4-6 stopped putting up btts in the Mexico game but hopefully plenty of people will have backed it.

I suggested Chile -1 at 9-10 after seeing the team line-ups but at the time not many would have seen it so it wouldn't have been fair to add to include as a top tip.

There are a lot more matches to look at on Saturday including Uruguay v Paraguay and Argentina v Jamaica at Copa America, Germany v Denmark and Czech Republic v Serbia in the European Under-21 Championship and Germany v Sweden in the women's World Cup.

I've posted a separate Copa America preview and expect Argentina to win by at least two while Serbia could be best bets in the U-21s after an impressive display in their opener against outright favourites Germany.

As well as those three big tournaments there are games in Scandinavia and Molde v Valerenga stands out for one that should produce goals. Both to score pays no more than 4-7 at Ladbrokes and over 2.5 goals is 4-9 with the same firm.

Molde have netted 13 in their last three home games while Valerenga's last five matches have totalled 28 goals. Anyone for over 3.5 goals at 20-19 with Ladbrokes.

The other Norwegian game sees Sandefjord entertain Lillestrom and the visitors look a shout at 23-20 with Coral against a side who have lost their last six – four of them by more than three goals. On the treble I'm having Lillestrom draw no bet at 8-13 at Coral and they are unbeaten in eight against their opponents.

I'm reluctant to do too many bets as I try to reduce this month's losses but having mentioned Serbia Under-21s yesterday the concensus from respected tipsters is a win for Serbs at a best 6-4. Double it with Lillestrom.

And I'm putting up a first-scorer Trixie (total stake 1.1pts) with Lionel Messi, Colombia's Jackson Martinez and Brazil's Philippe Coutinho. Those stats (win or lose) will be included in the Daily Double/Top Treble figures.

    Argentina -2AH @ 1.87 @ BV -10 points (now best @ 1.88 @ 888)

Argentina have already qualified but no matter what happens in the outcome of the or Uruguay/Paraguay game, Argentina will have to win their game and better the goal difference of either side to top their group and get the easier opposition in the next round. I don’t think Argentina will rest players, certainly not Messi, and even if the likes of Di Maria and Aguero are rested then you have Higuain, Tevez, Lavezzi, Pastore, Lamela and Pereyra to take their place. Jamaica looked horrible against Paraguay, and when I say horrible I mean one of the worst performances as a team I’ve seen since watching Man United earlier in their Premier League season :D Argentina should destroy them with their pace and talent on the field and I would not be surprised if it was anything less than a 3 goal win for the Argentines. If I had money to burn I would not even entertain backing Jamaica to score let alone get a draw out of this. Fingers crossed for a mauling.

Interesting how some people are saying save your money until August. True the Copa has been very harsh, but I think fresh season is also difficult with no form etc to go off. I find middle to late UK season generally the best time. But enough of this, got losses to chase! haha

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

316leigh, in my experience any month can be good and any month can be bad. August is traditionally tricky and I prefer September and October when form settles down a bit.

Several promising games today and decided on one from the Denmark 2nd Division East and 2nd Division West at 2pm in the leagues final matches of the season.

First up its Boldklubben af 1893 vs Sollerod-Ved. B.93 have played very well at home of late, W4 D1, but unsurprisingly, they’re against teams in the relegation zone. They’ve seen atleast 2 first half goals in 3 of those 4 matches against the minnows and its unlikely they’ll take their foot off just yet infront of their faithfuls.

Sollerod-Ved make the ideal opponents, leaking 22 goals in their last 5 aways and sitting pretty in 14th, it appears they’ve given up the fight long ago. Infact, 12 of those goals came in the first half and all 5 had atleast 2 FHG. Granted it was against quality teams, and one of them was a 3-2 loss where Sollerod also scored in the first half, but its doubtful B.93 would wanna miss out on the trend when they can move up a place with a win (1/3). Word on the street is, thats exactly what they aim to do.

    B.93 vs Sollerod-Ved – Over 1.5 first half match goals 6/4 @ Co.ral

Next we head over west to the game between Kjellerup and Jammerbugt. Agree with Mattr, there should be goals in this, but again I’m focusing on the first half side of things.
Unlike Sollerod, Kjellerup are putting up fights. Yes its in vain, they’re already relegated, but they clearly play an open game. in 3 of their last 5 there has been atleast 2 FHG and crucially 2 of those were against the top two sides. Jammerbugt sit 3rd and both teams play for different goals, Kjellerup could finish bottom and the visitors could drop down to 5th place. Both need a win here which should be incentive enough.
The home side hold the most goals scored in the bottom half of the league, unfortunately for them, their poor away form has left them 15th.
The away team has seen over 1.5 FHG in 4 of their last 5 aways and should be eager enough to secure 3rd place (8/15).

Kjellerup vs Jammerbugt – Over 1.5 first half match goals 21/20 @Bet Fair

A small stake dirty double would get you just under 4/1 @Bet Fair

Its soon to be crunch time between Molde and Valerenga in the Norwegian Tippeligaen at 5pm.

Molde are in fine home form, scoring at will against everyone who visits the Aker stadion since Odd visited and served them a wake up call. They’ve scored 21 goals in their last 5 home matches, and this includes against one of the leagues finest, Staebek where it finished 3-3.
Molde to score 2+ wasnt appealing, but after seeing them make a mockery of defences, I toyed with the idea of 3+ goals at 11/8 with Co.ral, then placed it on the back burner to focus on the earlier Danish games.

Valerenga havent lost an away league game this season so far and they’re deservedly 3rd. Their last few away games have produced goal fests, and this rarely featured their top scorer Deshun Brown who’s now currently in Chile with the Jamaica team. Valerenga has seen 26 goals in their last 5 aways and Molde have seen 27 in their last 5 homes. For the two teams that are fighting for the same prize, I’d expect that trend to continue.

Molde are favourites here (4/11), H2H since 2011 shows they W6 D1, and that draw was away from home.
Bookies have since read my mind and Molde to score 3+ is now odds on, but Bet Way seems to have missed the boat when it came to over 3.5 match goals market. A common factor Molde have at home, and with both teams in goalscoring form, this should be scrumptious.

Molde vs Valerenga – Over 3.5 match goals 21/20 @Bet Way

    • Danny T 9 years ago

Yesvil the under 21 Germans need to really be picking up a win tonight the Danes are quite good but the Germans are at there best when up against it. German women rested a lot of players against Thailand whilst the swedes were made to work hard against the Aussie ladies . So a fitter German side who are faves for the tournement you would hope to stick at least 2 past a tired and poor Swedish side during this tournement . I like it mate I have convinced myself a small stake in your bet for me

  116. Bingo 9 years ago

Denmark U21’s to beat ze Germans looks big at 3/1. Considering Serbia outplayed Germany and were unlucky not to win and I’ve just watched the Czechs destroy Serbia 4-0 and it could have been more. The Danes have a good side and comfortably beat the Czechs…

    Denmark U21’s to win @ 3/1
    Draw ht/Denmark ft @ 8/1

    Worth a coupla shekel…

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Bingo, thing is with this U-21 tournament – just back the opposite of what makes sense.

  117. HIENZ 9 years ago

The best the demmark side could get today is a draw which is possible but i dont see them win today

  118. Bingo 9 years ago

Exactly Mr F. Everyone including the bookies expects Germany to win but the Danes are a big strong side and have a coupla decent players up front. The Germans didn’t impress in their first game despite the fact they’ve got several players that play in the top leagues in Europe. They didn’t play like a team in their opener, more a collection of individuals whereas the Danes are a team…

If Argentina cannot beat a team like Jamaica by more than a single goal well i’m sorry, but the s*hit has really hit the fan.

Lucky enough to cover the under 1.5 team goals as soon as Argentina scored

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

James, stats are unreal – something like 80 per cent possession for Argentina, masses of chances but one goal. What are they playing at?

  182. Capone31 9 years ago

What’s the point of putting a workhorse like Tevez on for that fat ejit Higuain with a 15 min left

  183. James Slater 9 years ago

Christ knows Mr.F! I think what it boils down to is that Argentina have and always will be one of football’s greatest engimas. Similiar to the Dutch, so much attacking talent and huge names on paper but serial underachievers who just never seem to click when they need to!

Anybody would think and go wow, Messi, Aguero, Di Maria, Lavezzi, Tevez and so on but it seems as though they just all click together and Martino doesn’t have the foggiest how to handle them all, never mind themselves!

    Just astonishing really

    Yesvil very unlucky mate

Jamaica played well and could have nicked something near the end.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Donny1266, not from what I saw – although they did have a chance at the end. Looked as good as Hibs or Blackpool.

Quick in-play – Toronto are 23/10 to win…1 down but a good chance they will come back.

Shoulda coulda woulda MrF… They just wasted a lot of opportunities is all. Oh well such is football and football betting! Night :)

Argentina should pass the ball more but international football is much different to clubfootball n teams with highly skilled players willing to give extra for country

Brazil could play latvia n only win 2-0 not 7-0 like they shud

I had 1-0 at 7/1 n Argentina -1 lost but cashed out on new zealand cricket so profitable day. I suppose as usual football lets it down

Thats the worst Argentina team av evr seen they wont b winning this tournament. Thers money to b made betting against them when they come up against a half decent team.zabbaletta or whatever heez called is a passenger and liability. The rest o them look as if they dnt want to b there.

Don’t cry for me Argentina … I will cry for myself for messing up a -2AH, Messi Left foot goal (had 3 good chances), and a treble of Germany U21, Germany Women and Argentina > 1.5 MGS.

WasClueless, I’m greetin’ but I’m no Jeremy Clarkson. Goodnight.

    Saturday Treble:

    ARGENTINA over 1.5 team goals

    GERMANY WOMEN to win

GERMANY U21 over 0.5 team goals

    1.01/1 William Hill

    3 Points

    *LOST*

Only the good lord knows why Argentina didn’t manage to score more than 1 goal against a nation more renowned for their bobsleigh ability than playing football

Also after world cup I thought Argentina just like winning dont care how

    1-0 v iran was it

International football isnt a sport , its more entertaining watch two teams try to win in sport whereas in international its two teams trying not to lose. The cricket was way more entertaining n I never liked cricket until gambling

Just watched that Argentina match as had a corner interest in it and to be fair to Jamaica they could have stolen a draw at the end.

No urgency to the Argentina play and never changed the pace of attack, always the same width and cutting back in.

But they did have chances to put that to bed

  194. paul 9 years ago

Finally jim burnside they prob wll win tournament

Do a chelsea n bore opposition to death 1-0 all the way no matter who we play.

    On toronto at 21/10

Writing on the wall from Argentina even from last year, 1-0 wins over average sides like Iran, Switzerland and Belgium also single goal wins over Bosnia and Nigeria in last years world cup, plus a 0-0 bore draw with Holland. Like Brazil, only a shade better.

Chile look the best side so far. But im washing my hands from betting on it. Making daily profit betting on the likes of Aussies, Swedish 3rd division and Vietnam league only to be back to square one betting on Copa America.

Grace T2 now Mr F and into 5/1…good stuff.

Both my Argentina v Jamaica bets…LOST.

Couldn’t agree more James S – no ryhme or reason to some of todays games.

  197. James Slater 9 years ago

HullShaker i watched parts of the game mate and to me it never really seemed like Argentina were never really troubled. The only troubling they seem to do is on themselves!

Almost like they’re too good but they know it so they don’t really show it, if that makes sense?

Evening gents. Safe to say I was beaten by the stag do and have paid the penalty today. A nice roast chicken made by the Mrs soaked up yesterdays alcohol so it was an alright Fathers Day. I didn’t see the Argentina game yesterday and if I had done, I wouldn’t have remembered the result when I woke up. A 1-0 was surprising and I was annoyed to have lost the most fancied of the weekend with todays smaller double coming in in Norway.

    Saturday – Argentina -2AH @ 1.87 @ BV – 10 points (available @ 1.925) **LOSE**

    Sunday – Rosenborg Over 1.5 Team Goals/Stabaek to score 10/11 @ 888 – 5 points (0.92/1 @ 365) **WIN**
