ENGLAND were panned after their horror show in Dublin last Sunday but was their display any real surprise?
What they and Roy Hodgson do best is qualify and a friendly in Dublin was the last thing they needed.
England have won all five Group E fixtures, scoring 15 times – second best only to Poland – and have conceded the fewest number of goals in one.
Hodgson's side travel to Slovenia tomorrow and are worth taking at a biggest 10-11 with William Hill.
Slovenia are no mugs though having beaten Switzerland in Maribor and this looks a 1-0 or 2-0 England win.
A 1-0 success pays 11-2 at BetVictor while England are 2-1 at Skybet to win to nil for the third away game in a row .
Switzerland and Slovenia are fighting it out for second spot in Group E and the Swiss should grab the advantage by winning at toothless Lithuania.
The Swiss are a best 2-5 at Betfred and William Hill and can win to nil against a side who haven't scored in their last six matches. This pays 10-11 at Paddy Power and Skybet. The other Group E game sees Estonia tackle San Marino and Estonia to win to nil is again the bet but pays just 2-5 at Skybet.
Spain are the biggest name in action on Sunday and they sit second in Group C ahead of their clash away to Belarus. It's difficult to see anything but a Spain win but best you'll get is 1-3 at Betfred. Belarus have lost three qualifiers all by more than a goal so consider Spain -1 at 10-11 with the likes of Paddy Power and bet365.
The final game in Group C sees Ukraine at home to Luxembourg and they are 1-8 at Betfred. Luxembourg have conceded 14 in five games so you have to be looking at a home win by something like 3-0. Consider Ukraine -2 Asian Handicap at 3-4 with BetVictor.
In Group G the big game is Russia v Austria with the home men five points behind the leaders. I'm not convinced by Russia and this could be a draw.
Second-placed Sweden would be happy with that result as long as they pick up the points at home to Montenegro. The Swedes are 1-2 at Coral and Betfred and should see off a side who have been disappointing this campaign including a 3-0 defeat handed to the Russians after crowd trouble at their home match.
Switzerland to win to nil (7.45pm)
(10-11, Paddy Power, Skybet)
Ukraine -2 AH (5pm)
