I'M loving Wimbledon just now as I landed my second Super Single in succession and also posted a winning treble.
My treble was Viktor Troiki -1.5 sets v Aljaz Bedene and 3-0 wins for Roger Federer and Andy Murray that paid 6-4.
I broke even on the football tips after covering the Super Single. My 2pts bet on Zilina and Aberdeen was beaten by Shkendija's late equaliser against the Dons but I advised putting 0.5pts on the draw at 9-1 – some will have covered and some won't but when I can I will look at the options and give out advice.
My Top Treble was only beaten by AIK who were surprisingly held by VPS but it wasn't the easiest of nights to pick value winners and well done to those who did.
On Friday there are league games in Scandinavia and Ireland and I'll had a closer look at some of those matches. Later on it's the Copa America third-place play-off between Peru and Paraguay and it's always difficult to work out how sides will react in this consolation contest after losing their semi-finals.
League of Ireland leaders Dundalk travel to Drogheda for the Louth derby and having lost on their last three visits there they look a bit short at 3-10.
To make it a Super Single at just under evens I'm adding Molde not to lose at Sarpsborg. Molde were on a great run until a shock defeat at Tromso and that's been followed by draws against Valerenga and at leaders Rosenborg.
Sarpsborg have lost three of their last four and Molde should pick up the points but I feel safer taking them on the double chance.
I prefer to back Division One leaders Wexford at home to basement boys Waterford. Wexford have netted 14 goals in their seven home matches despite losing three while Waterford have lost six of seven on the road and netted just four goals.
I'm going for three tennis Super Single wins in a row and in essence I'm going against stats with this one. The bet I wanted was a tiebreak in the match between Marin Cilic and John Isner.
There have been six in four meetings between the players – Cilic winning all of the matches – but the price pays just 1-12. That's out and I even thought about no tiebreak at 6-1 but if it goes four or five sets there's likely to be at least one.
However, a bet that stands out is no tiebreak in the first set at 5-4 with Ladbrokes. It's worth backing just because of the price and in their only previous five-set meeting there wasn't a tiebreak until the third.
For the tennis treble – and again it won't be included in my stats – I'm in Cilic to win, Nick Krygios to take at least a set off Milos Raonic (he's been tipped to win in place) and over 3.5 sets at Grigor Dimitrov v Richard Gasquet which looks a tough one to call.

Are cover recommendations now included in SS tip history? I can understand the relevance of including in points overall record as win/loss but not sure if it is relevant or accurate to include in tips record as it is not a posted tip. At the end of the day it is cash in bank that matters but it may mislead if people are making betting decisions based on hit rate. Just a thought….

bill, cover recommendations are always included in the SS history as long as they’ve been advised by me. They have to be because essentially they are my stats – not yours or anyone else’s. I’ve been trying to educate people about covering and if you decide not to do it that’s your call. People who rule out covering will lose more in the long run.
Covering bets have always been essential in sports betting particularly with the range of markets there is nowadays but unfortunately i reckon the majority of punters that bet are not in the position to take advantage of getting to cover there bets as they will probably be unable to keep checking results due to various situations ie work and pesky wifes n stuff ;-) etc etc.
Joking aside tho not everyone can take advantage of covering there bets especially at certain times for each individual but there are still plenty chances to play when you are out with work etc etc (apart from the pesky missus scenario) plus it’s not the fault of anyone that can post cover bets inplay because they can, just unfortunate if you cannot get that cover on but maybe you can bet according to your timetable then you have no excuse to not cover if you have the chance, unfortunately Mr F cannot cater for everyone’s timetable who chooses to follow his tips but if if they cannot cover then it’s not the man’s fault and he can only say it as he sees it.
The proper pro gamblers out there have no problem with doing this as they see this as part of there arsenal to get as much chance from getting a profit and quite rightly so.
Punting For Fun, you’re right about people not being able to always cover but anyone doing a serious punt must be in the position to do so and all you need these days is a phone. If you’re at work go to the toilet or for a cup of tea whatever. If you’re at home remind the missus who pays the bills.
Spot on “the having a Serious punt comment” m8 and that’s why I said the pro gambler will indeed have the cover option available as that’s pretty obvious being a pro gambler you will have the luxury of time in your own hands. But I can think of a few jobs out there where you just cannot keep going for a toilet break or cup of tea to check on your phone if your bet can be covered without yer gaffer/boss pulling you up (unless you have a lax office job like say journalist at a newspaper for example) ;-)

Bill, I agree. A casual onlooker would look at yesterday’s picks and wonder how doubles have counted as singles and tennis tips popped up in a football thread and may not have had time to cover in the 5 minutes it took for Aberdeen to throw away the lead.
Mr F. Please go back to what you were doing last year, posting a single every day (if you can) and maybe a double and treble. Please stop with the points thing. As last month showed, it starts to rub people up the wrong way and gets much too complicated.
Your tips don’t need to be accounted for as they are given with good reason in the write-up. It is then up to people to decide if they follow or not.
It’s just my 2p worth anyhow.

Personally I dont care if its a football single double tennis tip or whatever else Mr F decides to put up. I have been following Mr F for several months backing his SS to level stakes .
Mr F has consistently produce profits as I started betting £5 stakes increases by £5 after every profitable month. I am now on £25 per bet so as MR F often states back the selection if you want to at stakes you can afford to lose.
As I say I disregard the pts advised and back to level stakes.
Please do not take this as criticism just another point of view

Jaseos, it doesn’t matter what I do – some people will complain and I’ve given up trying to please everyone. I’ll continue to do what I think is best. On the Aberdeen game if you’re waiting for them you have to be ready to look at cover as soon as they take the lead. It’s not about having 5 minutes to do it – it’s about deciding before the game whether you will be interested in covering or not. Taking the lead so late on is an adavantage and as you saw it’s an easy cover to do.

On the Aberdeen game I was waiting for them for a treble, someone mentioned earlier in day randers to win to nil at a great price, added mr f super single and zilna were couple goals to good, once Aberdeen scored the cash out offer was only 3 quid less than potential return so made sense to cash out and guarantee profit, if bookies didn’t offer cash out the cover was 8/1 draw and I appreciate not everyone has access to watch how games are unfolding but if there is money to be made you got to keep your eye on cash out or cover opportunities

I absolutely agree with covering when in a strong position and you advising it, therefore to anyone who knows anything, the Aberdeen pick was a sound tip. I am not criticising this at all, just the format of how it is set out.
I guess I just like football tips on the football thread and it being nice and simple – Level stakes on a Single, double and treble. None of this points nonsense.

Fact of the matter is. Covering is more profitable in the long run. Regardless how confident of you are of the bet placed. If you’re a serious punter you should look to cover EVERY bet whenever possible. It’s not rocket science. People don’t cover but take cash out? Pretty much the same thing. I don’t cash out but cover. Enough now Heather is giving Serena a run in this second set and has broken her serve. Bit unfair that women are allowed to play men though :D

The wexford youth players missing as oper wexford youths own page are Last,higgins,mulligan,molloy and broaders. Checking soccerway and previous games these players are key regulars. Molloy and Mulligan have both scored in the most recent games so if these are missing I wouldnt be so sure of a straightforward youths win.
Based on the fact Waterford have been to the youths ground and won already this season and the fact youths are now missing regular players i would be more inclined on chancing on waterford.

Copa 3rd place play off and i can see an open game with only money probably being the motivating factor for the teams but with all the bribery scandals in fifa there is talk of CONMEBOL not having the money to pay for this years tournament entrants but dunno how much truth there is in that but read somewhere as well frozen accounts etc etc until this bribery issue is sorted.

something has happened on my laptop via chrome browser todo with setting or dns incorrectly configured.
have tried everything and cleared memory and reset and uninstalled chrome etc
