I'VE won money backing USA in every Gold Cup game so far and hopefully we'll make a few more dimes tonight.
USA face Honduras in the first clash in Arlington, Texas and are no bigger than 2-5 at William Hill and Paddy Power to beat Honduras.
The hosts have notched 16 goals in their four matches and the only time they failed to hit a streak was in the meaningless final group game with Costa Rica which they won 1-0.
Honduras qualified courtesy of low-key wins against Haiti and El Salvador before losing to Trinidad and Tobago. They have netted just four times in the tournament – one fewer than USA hitman Chris Wondolowski – and there are question marks about their attack.
I can't see past USA and while betting them to win to nil is tempting they have conceded in three of their four outings. So for me the best bet is USA -1 at 1-1 with Paddy Power while instead of Wondolowski I'm back on Landon Donovan at 7-2 with Skybet to score first after hitting five in his last five internationals.
The later game sees Panama take on Mexico and these two sides met in Group A at the start of the tournament. Panama won 2-1 and I can see a similar sort of result.
They eased to Group A triumph with two wins and a draw against Canada when it didn't matter. Mexico's second string side have bounced back well from that early loss to beat Canada, Martinique and Trinidad and Tobago but none of those are a patch on Panama who look big at 16-5 with Paddy Power and BetVictor.
At that price you can back them +1 and still get 4-5 with the Irish firm.
Gabriel Torres has been Panama's star man with five goals and is 12-5 at Skybet to net at anytime.

My doubt is instead of putting wins on AMG & Panama why don’t we go for these bets to be on safe side.Odds really looking good. As in case if matches draw and after all those extra time and penalties.

I think it can happen. Fc Porto made some changes with a new managers, sold Moutinho and James Rodriguez but bought some decent players. They are playing extremely well in this pre season and have a 27-2 goal ratio in their friendlies. They have already played Millionários twice beating them 2-0 and 2-1. The over +2.5ft has happened in all Porto games in this pre season. Millionários just lost one of their main players Montero that was bought by my club Sporting Clube Portugal. But they found a good replacement in international Dayro Moreno. They have an important game in 3 days so they will rotate i guess.

Just seen Universidad are playing tonight :) but the bets il be on is USA -1 and -2 and then atletico to win the copa straight after. Lost out on the barca game, with it being a friendly I didn’t go big on it. Hope to claw it back with the US tho

Why did paddy power refund your Bayern overs bet?
MrT, could have been due to length of the game. Someone said it was being played over 80 minutes and that may not have been advertised. If that’s the case some bookies may refund stakes.
Oh and the bet was with Skybet. 8/1 to score in both halves or 9/2 to score 2 or more. I decided on the 8/1 as I expected USA to score a few and with Wolfinski out Donovan was the man. Pity he never got first but we can’t win them all.

Chris, when Panama beat Mexico 2-1 in the group stage I tipped them +1 at 11-8. They usually do well in the Gold Cup and nothing had changed since that earlier meeting so 2-1 wasn’t a huge surprise although bookies got it wrong. Hoping that’s it though for Panama as I have USA on the outrights and tipped it at the start of the tournament.

At the start of in-play it was switched to 80 mins but after about 30 mins inplay froze and went back to 90 mins. Full 90 mins were played so refund seems strange. I’d love to get my losses back but need a reason.
