PHILLY are rested on the eastern side of the playoffs and look the best team in the Conference in my opinion.

Jayden Brown is doubtful for game one, so they’ll need more big performances from Rozier and Horford. Philly are a match-up nightmare and it's tough to see Boston progress here. Think they’ll win one home game but not the opener.

I thought this might be a tough one as Celtics might be more battle hardened with a more competitive round 1 matchup and great home court form in the playoffs but when you break it down the Bucks ain’t the 76ers. I can’t see Brown recovering from a hamstring injury so quickly either. He’s their highest score on the season behind Irving & if not the top scorer and minutes played in playoffs then certainly up there. I don’t think there is a next man up left in this team. I played it cautious earlier and took 76ers to win @ 20/31 but the more I look at this you have to fancy the spread too, which is already moved out to -4. Healthy 76ers to win and cover tonight.

Saw some of the basketball pundits saying the 76ers would win because they’re well rested. Now they’re saying they lost because they were rusty from having too much time off. ?

Less said about Philly the better. I personal just think they thought they had won prior to the tip off with Brown being out and will be better prepared game 2.

Philly far too predictable imo. Simmons on the ball you know he’s not taking a shot. Needs a jumper and he’ll be the next big thing in the nba.

Simmons’ decision making in the clutch is very questionable ?

  12. nick 5 months ago

It’s pretty crazy, after the first round I thought the 76ers were the easts best hope to win the championship. Simmons literally lost them that game.

76ers three away game 3 and I can’t see that happening again. 76ers are fighting for their playoff life tonight at home and laws of probability make a 5 game win streak in the playoffs a stretch for the Celtics who know they also have 2 shots at home for a Conference Final place. I think 76ers bury this and Celtics wrap up for game 5 making the over my play tonight.

Think the Pels will lose but not a blow out as GSW will try will play better D like game 4. Rockets to win easily enough at home and push it over.

@nick I thought the same. Before the Boston series started I could have cashed out on Philly for 500% profit. Now I can cash out for a pint ?

    Roll on the NFL ??

LA Rams have gone from my original price of 13/8, now @ 5/6 to win their division. Added everywhere they needed to and with serious talent in Talib and Peters at corner, with Suh partnering Aaron Donald on the defensive line. A huge drop-off for Seattle this season as they look to rebuild their legion of boom, the Cardinals will stink it up with Bradford until he’s gets injured, then Josh Rosen will have egg on his face after his post draft comments. 49ers are the team that’ll compete, but I still don’t think Jimmy G is for real. May prove me wrong, but the Rams will be the same, if not better than last year.

LA Rams NFC West Winners @ 5/6 – 6 points (4 points staked when originally posted @ 13/8)

What about the Texans to take the NFC South? They looked immense under Watson till he got injured. With him, Watt & Mercilus fit they must be in with a shout of toppling the Jags & Titans who will always carry doubt over Bortles & Marriota. I realise it’s a gamble due to a tight Division but I just think the Texans are really set up for a great season and @ 9/5 appeal.

  22. mar10bet 5 months ago

Celtics unbeaten on home court in the playoffs are the just a shade under evens to beat 76ers. Celtics won’t want to go to a game 6 in Philli and an inevitable game 7 so taking them to win tonight.

Mar the AFC South is almost as hard to predict as the NFC South. Still think the Jags are the best team in that division but Texans a close second when healthy. Titans been getting better every season under Mariota.

Luckily got myself some tickets for the Titans/Chargers game at Wembley in October ??
