GREG gave everyone a French lesson on Friday with his nap coming up and a big goals bet nearly landing.

He's focusing his mind away from the FA Cup today and says: “I can’t say I'm much of a fan of the FA Cup and for that reason I’ll be giving it a bodyswerve and instead focusing on the Scottish Cup and league business!”

Airdrie v Dundee United
Motherwell v Cove Rangers

Two Premiership sides who should do the business are Dundee Utd and Motherwell. Let's start with Motherwell who are on a great run and I’ll be surprised if there’s not at least three goals in their match against the part-time Highlanders with the likes of Scott McDonald and Louis Moult in inspired form for Mark McGhee's on-form side.

While United stare relegation in the face this is the perfect opportunity for them to get a much-needed morale-boosting win!

Back over 2.5 match goals double 5-4 (Bet365) (NAP)

Bromley v Southport

Like many I’ve been keeping an eye on Southport in recent weeks and was close to posting them last week and it’s not hard to see why given how they are playing and the volume of goals scored. Bromley themselves haven’t been shy of a goal especially at home and we should see both sides contributing today.

Back over 2.5 match goals 4-6 (boylesports) (NB)

Arbroath v Elgin
East Fife v Berwick
Montrose v East Stirling

Over 2.5 match goals treble (7-2)

On the Nap Greg. Pondering over NB, not decided on outcome, leaning towards Southport again!

On it all. Good luck Greg. Much happier when you are concentrating on goals.

On them – put a pound on the 6 fold as well….. Last night I split my loose change between O1.5 and O2 GL. Was nearly a big payout!

Plenty of chances in Airdrie game, as yet no goals!

I think Dundee Utd has to go on the never touch permanent sh#tlist. I have added west brom to mine along with Liverpool and sheff Utd. Unlucky with the treble. i think east fife have pooped the party before.

Nice nap last night. Your summary said it all. I of course added Liverpool to f it up.

Agree Jim, no more Dundee Utd for me! Onwards and upwards.

    That’s as poor a Saturday as I can remember – 3 bets 6 matches 3 overs losers

100% spot on Jim – United are no 1 on the shortlist of complete and utter useless @&£&£@@& they won’t be touched again

Sad times When the only winner i posted today was on the sports thread on Racing -13 in the rugby against Glasgow haha! Should have made that my NAP

Poor day all round for punters I would imagine and to rub salt into the wounds the famous Perth saints are out of the Scottish cup ?

Guru, I know you’re be back with a vengeance! Real shame English teams disrespect FA Cup, it certainly makes life harder for us punters!

i think it was a but much to expect d utd to go on a goals spree on what was a potential banana skin
just getting a win wouldve been relief for all. but i backed it all the same.. when players are back from injuries and susp,
…dow especially .. i can see them scoring a few ..and start clawing back points
