Although it’s a big spread at -16, I like the looks of the Spurs at home to the Jazz. They beat them by 37 points earlier in the season and with the way the Spurs are playing, I can easily see them covering this. Cleveland -7 also looks good against a pretty poor Wizards team and I also like Hornets -3 against a Suns team that seem to be in complete disarray! I’ll have a proper look later and put up my alternative totals treble alongside my other main bets.
I seem to stick to home teams the last week or so with the exception of the Spurs and GSW as home teams always seem to come out on top in the NBA. Its done me well so far so long may it continue.

After yesterday’s 7/4 winner with Mark Mcgeeney winning 3-0 i’ve put up 2 bets that I really fancy.First up I like the look of Harms to do a job on Jim Williams.The Welshman looked nervous first round against an out of sorts Tony O’Shea.The consistent high scoring power of Harms will see him through and I see him winning by 4-1 or 4-2.
Second bet I like is the battle of the veterans,Welsh captain Martin Phillips up against Cambridgeshire county man Dennis Harbour.Phillips only averaged 26 against a poor Ted Hankey and you couldn’t help but be impressed with Harbour’s sudden death win over the popular Darryl Fitton.I actually fancy Harbour to win this match outright at a great price of 6/4 but just to be on the safe side i’m going Harbour + 1.5 on the handicap.I think the bookies have this wrong in making Phillips the 8/13 favourite.

Saratov are huge favorites here but I think Jerusalem are massively underestimated, which I found out to my cost when backing Maccabi Tel Aviv to beat them in a 94-85 win for them. Jerusalem have bags of experience and a really strong roster. On the other hand, Saratov have been superb this season, but they are not invincible and in my opinion Jerusalem have a good chances to win, they have the quality in their ranks to cause an upset, with players like Fischer, Smith, Rowland, Halperin, Janning, Elyahu, Duncan, this value is really great and worth a try.
This should also be a very high scoring game for those of you who like totals, although I think the value has gone as the total as increased by 10 over the course of the day.

The match today against “Doggy” Dawson should be very competative and with the it now first to four sets its likely he will cover the line.
Dennis harbour hit an impressive sixteen 140’s and two 180’s against Daryl Fitton in his 3-2 round one win. Martin Phillips scored seven 140’s and one 180 in his 3-0 win against Ted Hanky. Harbour definitely came through the tougher match and impressed with the regularity that he got into the treble twenty bed. Can’t believe what I’m seeing to be honest here. The Seahawks/Vikings spread is now down to -4.5 for Seattle. It could go down more which would be handy, but I’m going to take this now. When these two met in week 13, Peterson ran for 18, yes, EIGHTEEN yards. Last week in Green Bay he was coming in with a sore back and missed the majority of the second half. I’ve suffered back pain in my years, but back pain in 0 degree weather? No thanks.
A few things people would take into account is that Seattle are on b2b road trips but it doesn’t make it a huge factor such as NBA teams as the rest periods are longer. Timezone is another factor but when Seattle came and blew out the Vikes it was a 6:00PM GMT kickoff, it’ll be 5 minutes later this weekend. Weather is another factor. This game could possibly be the coldest NFL game in history (I heard that on a preview, unsure if its true) but either way the forecast is set to a ridiculous -19 degrees in Minneapolis with a small chance of rain (which will obviously be snow). It doesn’t get that cold in Seattle but it is cold, and Russell Wilson used to play for the badgers in Wisconsin, so he’s known cold weather before.
Minnesota did beat my Packers on Sunday, and congrats to them. But it wasn’t a dominating victory. In fact if Aaron Rodgers hadn’t of fumbled for a TD or thrown an interception when James Jones was wide open, we may not have even been talking about this game as Seattle would have been heading to Green Bay. The Packers dominated the stats in time of possession, yards and first downs, but ultimately didn’t score as many points when mattered.
Teddy Bridgewater has been ok for Minnesota this year, his first full season, but not great. Statistically, the Vikings could be the worst team in the playoffs, ranking 29th in total offense, and 13th in total defense. If the Seahawks can shutdown Peterson again and force Teddy to win it for Minnesota, they’ll be in big trouble in my opinion. Back when Seattle won in the blowout, they weren’t as high in the offense and defensive rankings as they are now. 2nd in total defense and 4th in total offense, with whispers of Marshawn Lynch returning to practice this week (now probable) he might not be 100% to go, but even with him taking some snaps, Wilson in perhaps the best form of his career, and Seattle playing lights out on the defensive end, I think this points to an easy Seattle win, despite what the number are doing.

Can’t call the Chiefs/Texans game, I’d slide with the Steelers if they have Wiliiams but he was still in a walking boot today. Then can’t call my Packers game but I’ve said to a few mates that this is the only team we can beat in the playoffs in my opinion. Need to get our offense going. Been so disappointing up to now.
