IT'S the final weekend of the NFL regular season and there's still two play-off spots up for grabs in the AFC.
One of them looks certain to go to Houston Texans while the other is a tug or war between the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jets know a win will send them through and they're 20-13 to get it at a Buffalo Bills who only have pride at stake and are 31-21 at Marathonbet.
Steelers – who need to win and hope the Jets lose – head to hapless Cleveland Browns and are just 2-11 at bet365 for victory and 1-2 at BetBright to be leading at half-time and full-time.

The final week of regular season NFL is here (excuse me while I weep) with a few meaningless games its tough to know where to go today. Although a few games mean nothing, every game today is a division match up, so it might mean something to the fans, but mentalities of players not in playoff contention might be less inspired to put on a show and just be happy that they are getting six months off. The Colts/Titans game means something, but Indy will be starting their 4th string QB who has only been signed for 2 weeks so I’d advise to leave that alone as the Titans are as bad as it is with Mariota under center, who they’ll be without.
I’m just going to go with teams that have to win tomorrow and hope for the best. All opponents are playing for pride but will obviously like to tarnish their division rivals hopes.
Houston Texans ML – Brian Hoyer is back under center which will raise the spirits of all players, no more than DeAndre Hopkins, despite Brandon Weeden leading them to a chance to win their division if they beat the Jaguars at home. The Jaguars do have a decent offense of their own, but the Texans intercepted Blake Bortles three times in their first match up. Texans to win and get their first AFC South Championship since 2012.
Carolina Panthers ML – The Panthers were the only undefeated team last week until division foes the Atlanta Falcons knocked them off their perch. The smugness should have been brushed off likely MVP winner Cam Newton this time around, where they’ll be making sure they get the win to seal the number one seed in the NFC and have a well deserved rest in the first round of the playoffs.
The Pittsburgh Steelers really burnt their playoff hopes (and my bet) last week with their loss in Baltimore. They can still gain a playoff entry, but will need the Bills to beat the Jets who are fresh off a win at home to the Patriots and the only chance of that happening is some Rex Ryan bullsh*t. Pittsburgh will be fired up for this one against a Browns team who is likely to be parting ways with their coach next season, and their socially active QB Johnny Manziel, who will not start today due to a concussion.

J.J Redick has been knocking down threes for fun recently, primarily because that’s all he does for the Clips. One of the best catch and shoot players in the league. Could be risky as the Clips might be up by a quite a bit come the 4th quarter, but hopefully not as we’ll see the likes of Redick stay on the court for longer. Hit 25 or more in 3 of his last 4 and will now get a home game after a 4 game road streak. Philly will know that getting to the rim might be a task with Jordan underneath so should be shooting from beyond the arc a bit. They actually rank in the top 10 in the league in 3’s attempted per game.

I used to only place footie bets up until about 10 years ago but never really got anywhere with it. Decided to go with Euro hoops as I have a keen interest and have never looked back. Still place the odd footie bet but mainly stick to Euro Basketball now as I’ve been making good profit over the years.
What you’ve just described is a perfect example as to why I got fed-up and switched sport.

Anderson performed at a vey high level yesterday finishing on a 108 average to whitewash Klaasen 6-0. He has only dropped two sets en route to the final which is an incredible feat. The striking thing is he seems able to maintain these excellent performances with his high scoring and puts his opponents under pressure to take out doubles when they get the rare chance. Anderson hits a very large volume of 140’s consistantly and his checkout conversion is usually high so he is able to open up big leads in matches. Lewis will definitely be a step up in quality but the weaknesses in his game were on show yesterday when he was 5-0 up against Barney only to let him win three sets on the spin in a spell which saw his scoring drop off completly. A lot of his darts were going well wide of the mark and he was missing crucial doubles. Anderson will not give him any chances and will almost certainly punish any slack visits. I dont think the final score will be close due to Andersons high scoring consistancy so the handicaps should be good markets to use for the match.
Both player’s have taken have out checkouts above 148 up to now. Anderson hit a 170 against Gurney and Lewis a 161 against Suljovic. Also there is the added setting of the match being a final where there is an increased importance on attempting high finishes to win what may be important legs.
Yesterday Anderson did hit the 9 darter after threatening it three times previously wihich included two wired 12’s. He amazingly was very close to getting two in the same match against Klaasen yesterday, something that has only been done once before by Taylor. At the moment, the way he is playing, the 9 darter is something which is always on the agenda. Lewis has previous for hitting a 9 darter in a World Championship final (which was against Anderson in 2011) and has also threatened it this year after hitting seven perfect darts against Gilding and Barney.

Minnesota did us a turn last week but face a tough game tonight. They will be desperate to end GB grip on the North but a wildcard is guaranteed. Rodgers was knocked on his backside more than a domino’s trail and tbh neither of these sides will trouble the big boys in the playoffs. GB are rightly favourites but I wouldn’t like to put money on them at poor odds having seen them get smashed in the desert last week (look what Seattle did their tonight)

Its going to be cold and offensively AP will be leaned on often, held to 45yds in their last meeting, GB gave almost 100yds to RB’s in the passing game last week against Arizona. AP could be just effective in the passing game. GB secondary is poor so if Bridgewater gets time look to him to target Diggs and Rudolph, but Wallace as the speed to cover his line in just 2-3 catches, he has done this in 3 of his last 4 games against better secondary than the packers. He will face rookie CB’s with shields out so 4/1 is too big to ignore. The NAP looks tasty as it is a divisional battle, in the cold and Blair Walsh is a quality kicker, GET ON!!!!!

I think we play the Vikings if we lose mate because Seattle won today. No idea though. I certainly don’t want to face Seattle at the moment.
