Posted on the old thread. Anyone who hasn’t taken the Warriors to win the championship again should do so now as they’ll be shorter after their win tonight. Currently best @ 7/4 @ Skybet. Put my faith in them in February last year so I’m a bit earlier this season as I’ve posted them a couple times already. @oriaz Couple of angles I liked on the Heat game last night.. they cannot keep putting in poor performances if they want to keep a play-off spot, I noted that a couple of players were possibly returning from injury.
And perhaps most importantly I fancied Bulls to put in a lacklustre performance after the win against Cavs, perhaps fade off at the end of the game…
I can’t say that I would have taken Heat ML.. but I liked them to cover. Had I not already had 3 bets down I would have taken the points…I have a tendency to overdo it.

Just watched a re run of the GSW Spurs match,
easy winner on the handicap and there was never any real doubt, wasnt as spectacular as the CC performance but was still a great performance, Curry is on another planet, seems like everyone jumped on the handicap, as last time v the Cavs it was +3 and most people left it alone which was a surprise, it’s clear this year that the Warriors come out a whole different team when up against a potential contender.

Odds are online for this race at the end of January. I think this is going to be a two horse race between Van Aert and Van der Poel. I was surprised the bookies have Van Aert as the short odds favourite as I think VDP has a better chance to win it. The odds for a VDP win are too big as the odds should be at least 50/50. The race will take place in Belgium and I think Belgian rider Van Aert isn’t as mentally strong as VDP and will have problems with the pressure from the public and media. It’s also a fast course with a hard surface and not a lot of muddy sections which suits VDP more than Van Aert. VDP also beat Van Aert (and won) on the same course on Boxing day in a World cup race last December.

The last race this weekend was dominated by Van der Poel from the start. His main rival Van Aert finished 2nd on 48 seconds. Van der Poel’s form is outstanding at the moment, he has won all races where he started this month. I think the main reason for his domination the last races is because his season started later due to an injury. Van Aert won almost all races from October to mid December and it looks like he is paying the price now.

I did this alot in the past always picking a football match at the weekend i thought was decent price banker and all my bets mon to fri would be doubles/trebles staked to pay £100 with the weekend game included. Work well sometimes as id get to sat with like 3/4 bets all riding on a team and easier to cover, only trouble is when you have a bad week and add up all the bets that would have been riding on to the selection you could have just had a large single on it instead, Did it last night though big bet on GS over 200 with carolina -3, was crusing then shit my pants in 4th when the totals dropped to 198 after 5mins. would have been annoyed if didnt come in as over 200 on GS was only 1.32. All good though bets alive and just seen lines moved on carolina to -4.5 :)
