CELTIC provided winners for myself, Greg Browning and Scott Allot – although in the end we were too conservative.
All of us fancied a convincing Celtic win against a struggling Hamilton side but no one saw 8-1.
Greg Browning's 4-5 nap of over 2.5 Celtic team goals came up inside 10 minutes while Scott's single was Celtic -2 at 5-4.
His double on Forfar-Linlithgow both to score and Inverness to score 2+ and mine on over 2.5 goals at Celtic and Forfar became a single when the Scottish Cup replay was abandoned. Bets will be voided as there is no date for the replay which is likely to be next week.
My Top Treble missed out and it didn't help Napoli resting top scorer Gonzalo Higuain as they lost 2-0 to Inter Milan in Coppa Italia.
It's all about cup games tonight with Leicester v Spurs and Liverpool v Exeter replays and a non-league Scottish Cup battle between East Kilbride and Lothian Thistle for the right to play Celtic on a neutral venue.
I reckon EK will edge the tie north of the border but for the other two I'd like a better idea about team news although Liverpool shouldn't have to go much stronger than they did first time out to see off their League Two visitors.
EK play in the Lowland League which is of a higher standard than Lothian Thistle's East of Scotland League and the vibes coming from the EK camp suggest they're even more fired up than their visitors to clinch a life-changing tie with Celtic.
And while EK have one player out Thistle have a few problems with keeper Kevin Swain breaking his wrist and his deputy also injured. Key midfielder Dean Cummings on holiday. They have another defender out and another doubtful.
It was earlier confirmed Fraser Ogilvie will be between the sticks. The player-coach usually fills the role of sub keeper but is listed as a midfielder and his only appearance was when he replaced the stricken Swain last weekend but second-choice Byron Gibb has made a miraculous recovery from a virus and will start.
I'd already picked EK as my Super Single and the price had dropped to 1-2 in some places. After the keeper news was “confirmed” I decided to take over 1.5 EK goals on an accumulator and hopefully it still lands.
In Spain we have Celta Vigo v Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao v Barcelona in first-leg ties and again team news is all-important.
Bilbao were hammered 6-0 by Barca at the weekend after losing their keeper just five minutes into the Nou Camp clash. Boss Ernesto Valverde rested Ander Iturraspe and Markel Susaeta and was without banned top scorer Aritz Aduriz.
All will return tonight and with Athletic going full strength the result could be much different and the home men look a decent bet to score at 4-9 with William Hill and that's added to EK 2+.
Reports suggests Juventus will be at full strength or close to it for the visit to Lazio in Coppa Italia. The champions are flying after a poor start to the season and have won 12 of their last 13 matches including a 2-0 victory against the Romans.
To complete the treble I'm taking Juve not to lose and Italy I also fancy Sassuolo at home to Torino in Serie A at a decent price of 8-5 with Betfred.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has confirmed new signing Demarai Gray will make his home debut. Matty James could return from injury and fringe players Ritchie de Laet, Andy King and Leonardo Ulloa are expected to start.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettini will also make changes but hasn't hinted at how many. If I had to pick a winner it would be Spurs simply because they have a stronger squad.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp fielded Christian Benteke and 10 reserves at Exeter and won't go much stronger tonight but with home advantage his men should win but I wouldn't consider going big on the handicaps.

Had a look at a few things being said Mr F on Spurs and Juventus. Pochettino has said the FA Cup is important to Spurs and also saw him today talking about he thinks they can challenge for the league this season. Not sure with the latter but they are playing well and should have a slight amount of revenge on the cards after their loss at home. They battered Leicester on paper in the two recent ties and have the depth to progress even if they do rotate but will still be tough.
Allegri has been talking about their 10 game win streak in Serie A but says they cannot relax as there is a cup to defend. Again with like Spurs they have the depth even when they rotate with the likes of Morata and Zaza. Lazio have been woeful of late too but will obviously want to go out fighting.

Could be a good shout that mate, only prob I have is with Spurs away, Last 3 away in ascending date order they hit 7,3 and 4. At Home they are consistent. The cup meeting at Spurs provided 24 in total though 16-8 in favour of Spurs which gives it a good chance. Combined average H & A are Leicester 4.8 at home Spurs 5.7 away. Last meeting on the H2H at leicester only provided 9 but 7 of those were for Spurs. Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale will play the biggest game in their history this evening without a specialised goalkeeper.
The East of Scotland amateurs have been hit with an injury crisis after regular number one Kevin Swain suffered a broken arm against Heriot-Watt University on Saturday and substitute keeper Byron Gibb was laid low by a virus.
Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale 1000pxThe club have signed experienced stopper John Gilbertson until the end of the season, but have been denied permission by the SFA to field him against East Kilbride Thistle tonight. For a player to be eligible for this round, they had to be registered by January 9.
It means LTHV are likely to field player/coach Fraser Ogilvie – a forward thinking midfielder by trade – between the sticks as they attempt to tee up a fifth round tie against Celtic.
Ogilvie has previously been named as a goalkeeper during friendly matches, and is considered the club’s No.3, but has never played in that position in a competitive fixture.
LTHV chairman Tom Allison told Capital City Press: “The SFA have not allowed us to register a goalkeeper so we will need to play with Fraser [Ogilvie] in goals and have another outfield player as a substitute goalie.
“Fraser has played in goals a couple of times in friendlies and I’m sure he will give it his best.
“I feel sorry for the club and the players because they have worked hard for this opportunity, and they deserve the chance for a goalkeeper to be in goals, but we understand the rules.”

Everything in this game leads me to believing we are quite likely to see a draw after 90 mins , last 3 meetings have given us 2 draws and that 83rd-minute Huth winner a week ago which suggests theres very little between the 2 sides, 4/5 Leicester games have ended all square and 3/4 homes also ending without a winner.

Granada sit one place below tonights opponents Las Palmas who knocked out Eibar in the last round, but it came with a touch of luck with Eibar having two players sent off late in the first leg at home which led to Las Palmas snatching a winner in injury time. They were also fortunate in their home tie with Eibar scoring an own goal. Neville has played fairly strong sides in his cup games with Negredo starting in all three. Las Palmas haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home all season, and with their four goals shipped in the last two ties against Eibar, I think Valencia will be able to notch a couple of goals themselves. I’ve watched Nevilles press conference and he was talking about the fight they put up to come back from behind twice on the weekend and get a draw, despite it being against the Vallecano side who shipped 10 goals at the Bernabeu last month. Team news is uncertain but I expect Neville to go fairly strong in what is an important quarter final.
