DESMOND hasn't enjoyed a switch from the norm with a packed festive card followed by a weekend dominated by cup ties.
He was a West Ham goal short of landing a double and with games back to normal hopes for a Saturday success.
He says: After a really poor festive and cup period I'm glad to be back to normal Saturday league fixtures. Two teams I like the look of this Saturday are Sheffield United and Northampton.
First up are a Sheffield United side away to relegation candidates Colchester. The Blades will be sharp after their great comeback at Wigan on Tuesday night from 3-0 down to earn a 3-3 draw.
With nine goals scored in their last four games I like the look of Ladbrokes' 10-11 on them scoring 2+goals against a Colchester side conceding an average of 2.36 goals this season.
Next up are a Northampton side away to Dagenham and Redbridge. Northampton sit joint top of league two after Tuesday's 2-1 away win at top-placed Plymouth. With 10 goals scored in their last four away games again Ladbrokes offer 10-11 on the Cobblers to score 2+goals against a Daggers side conceding eight goals at home in their last four.
Desmond's Double
Sheffield United to score 2+
Northampton to score 2+
2.5pts at 5-2 (Ladbrokes)
Going to add Portsmouth to your double desmond. Fingers crossed
Thanks Des, added Swindon, top tips.
