RIGHT on cue the Masters snooker starts at London's Alexandra Palace today and defending champ Ronnie O'Sullivan is once again the man to beat.
The Rocket is going for back-to-back major titles after beating Judd Trump in an epic UK Championship Final last month and is 13-8 to win his sixth Masters crown. He's followed in the outright betting by Judd Trump at 13-2, Neil Robertson 15-2, Ding Junhui 8-1 and Mark Selby 9-1.

I dont see much value in ronnie. Hes easily the best player but priced accordingly. Selby is one who can slow him down and break him. And is a good bet e/w at 9s. However he will more than likely have to beat judd on route. Selby always seems to turn up for this tournament.

Huggy – after studying, I think Grizzlies ML or even +1 or +2 & Clippers by around -5 should make a NICE double around EVENS. None of the other games I really trust. I’ll follow whatever you post but I think that’s the safest 2 bets to turn our $37 (or £37) into 74 :-D

Torn between the two here but Eddie Lacy will have a big game for the Packers whether Aaron Rodgers finishes the whole game or not. He has rushed over 75 yards in 5 of his last 6 games. Rushing for 100 yards in their game against Detroit in week 17, with Detroit ranking 1st against the rush on the season. Lacy also rushed for 97 yards against Buffalo. With Rodgers calf injury and LAcy’s success on the ground in recent, many of the bookies have his total at 84-85 but 365 have kindly offered over 75.5 @ 5/7 so I’ll take advantage of it.

Somebody’s 0 has to go tonight. First time ever and 8-0 home side face an 8-0 away team. Dallas got up off the floor to knockout Detroit last week, to keep “Americas team” and Jerry super bowl dreams alive. Lambeau in January is going to be cold, and Romo tends to freeze in the playoffs, but this season to have a perfect away record shows you something, they have even gone to Seattle and knocked them off. The big Question is the “slight tear” in Aaron Rodgers calf. The bottom line is the league MVP (my opinion he wins it) is not 100% going into this game.
I think we see another high scoring contest here, both games last night were full of touchdowns including the Seattle game were the total was set at 39. The Superbowl champions almost covered that themselves. I will be on O6.5 Touchdowns 6/5 Ladbrokes.
My prop bets revolve around 2 Dallas stars and Aaron Rodgers. Like Brady last night, I can see Rodgers throwing an Interception (again only seen Stan James price this market up) If it becomes apparent Rodgers cant escape pressure, then the Cowboys wont have to seal the edge, meaning they will bring more pressure up the middle and force Rodgers to get rid of the ball quickly. Rodgers only has 5 picks all season, but two came last month and this Dallas D, are 7th in the league for picks with 18. At 11/10 it gives you an interest throughout the game.
Dez Bryant will probably be going up against Sam Shields and if packers play man to man then Dez can cover his line at 82.5yds. Dez as had a monster season and in the meeting last season he went for 154yds. If cowboys fall behind earlier, Romo will have to come out looking for deep balls and take advantage of the 23rd ranked secondary. I am taking the Overs at 4/5 Bet365.
DeMarco Murray is the best running back in the league. He only ran for 75yds last week, but the Lions defence was ranked second in the league, this Packers defence aint as good. I expect in the cold Romo to hand it to the big guy and he can pick up the yards in chunks. The packers run d, will struggle to contain the Dallas O line and one missed tackle, could see Murray break a big one. I am taking O88.5 20/23 Coral. If Dallas stay competitive and I think they have a big chance tonight, I can see Murray going for 100yds.

The final game of the divisional round sees Peyton Manning welcome the guy who replaced him at the colts the impressive Andrew Luck. Denver are 8-0 at home this season and beat the Colts in week one 31-24 having raced into a 24-0 lead. I like another high scoring game, the total for this match is set at 53.5pts various 10/11, and I’m on the overs.
In the anytime scorer market, I like Julius Thomas. In the week 1 matchup he scored 3 times, and was on fire in the first half of the season. His numbers have dropped off slightly in the second half, but this guy is a massive unit, he owned the secondary in week 1 and I expect similar tonight. In the first half of season he had 10 of his 12 touchdowns. He is 5/6 William Hill to find the endzone.
My prop bet also surrounds Julius Thomas he had 104yds that game and although he hasn’t been as productive second half of the season his line is set at 48.5yds and that should be within reach, if he can reproduce his first half of the season form. It is 1/1 Betvictor.
The best prop bet on this game for revolves around RB CJ Anderson. He was a virtual unknown at the start of the season and only started playing due to injuries and as emerged as a legit NFL Running back, so much so that in the last six weeks he leads the league in yards. In the last 5 weeks Colts run defence as been giving up 125yds on average and in that week 1 matchup, the running back for Denver that night was Montee Ball who ran for 67yds. CJ has to cover 72.5yds and with Denver running it more as the season goes on, then this looks on the low side. CJ could be north of 90yds before this is done, especially if Denver are ahead and run the ball to take time of the clock. It is 10/13 at Bet365.

Ok 3rd and short and you throw it, rather than running it twice to pick up a yard. 4th and 1, you take it out your star QB hands, and give it to a running back 3yds behind the line of scrimmage, in effect making it a 4th in 4, these guys obviously don’t play Madden :D

I was thinking, what if we just increase the stake by 50% of the Acca balance everyday? So if its starts with $20, bet 10. If it wins we’ll have $30, so next day bet $15, etc.
Just a bit safer if it loses still have half balance to continue with (and less pressure!)

Going to be a long off season for Peyton, last night was unbelievable with 5 out of 5 winners. Tonight was hit n miss. The Dez call cost me a 6/5 winner as the Cowboys would have surely scored, but Murray covered and infact the prop bets again tonight like last night were on the money. I see a lot more guys punting on these markets and they are proving profitable.
