JUNIOR football tipsters Owen Scott and Paul Petrie are hoping for the first winners of 2015 on Saturday but the weather could hit the card hard.
William Hill's Owen has banked £15.27 this season while McBookie's Paul is on £153.20 to £10 stakes. Here's what the duo are on this weekend.
Owen writes: New Year – same results for me as I was really confident with my first treble of 2015 only for two of the sides to lose.
This week I'm starting with Kilsyth who are 1-2 at home to Irvine Vics. Despite a loss last week Kilsyth have been putting together a good run which has seen them join the promotion hunt so I expect them to take all three points.
Sauchie 5-6 at home to Camelon is my next pick. Sauchie's home record this season is excellent so I wouldn't expect them to drop points this week against a Camelon side who have lost their last seven league matches.
Finally, I'm taking a side who have won a few times for me in recent weeks and that's Shettleston at 2-5 at home to Ardeer. Shettleston have had a couple of wins already against Ardeer this season so I reckon this will be win No.3.
Owen's treble
Kilsyth
Sauchie
Shettleston
Pays £38.50 to a £10 stake at William Hill (shop and phone bets only)
Paul writes: First I am going for Kelty Hearts to beat Penicuik at 4-7 and keep their title challenge going. They have won all six home league games so far this season and should make it seven without any issues.
Next I am going for Falkirk to beat Dunbar at 5-4. They had a great result against Haddington last week and put up a good showing in the Scottish Cup against Culter. This will be a tough game but worth a chance at the prices.
Finally, I am going to take a punt on Hurlford at 6-4 to beat Irvine Meadow. Irvine had a fantastic victory over Auchinleck Talbot last weekend and if they were to win this game the title will be theirs to lose. However, there isn’t much difference between the teams and at the bigger price Hurlford are worth a punt.
