I wouldn't give up on yesterday's selection, as he travelled nicely throughout the race up until the point he unseated the rider. His jumping was sketchy at a few, hence why the unseat happened, but for a horse who has only raced twice over fences, I thought there was points to be optimistic that he could win soon. Hopefully the handicapper knocks his mark down a few more lbs, as that would make it even better.

There's plenty of questions to be asked about the majority of horses in this race, whereas you know what you're going to get from ECHO WATT, who looks a solid favourite.
Heavy ground is something which this horse loves, and handles. His run in the Surrey National last time out over this C&D was a cracking effort, as he managed to finish 3rd, and only finishing 5.25L behind the winner. He has been dropped 1lb for that run, which was kind from the handicapper, which leaves him with another cracking chance of landing a decent pot today in another marathon contest. He is deemed to be well handicapped off his form from earlier last year when he won off a mark of 113, as the rider's 5lb claim means he is now 10lbs lighter than he was for his last win. The soft ground will play to the strengths of strong stayers and horses who carry low weights, both of which come under the category of Echo Watt, who will be racing off 10st 4lbs, which is the 2nd lowest weight in the race.
As I mentioned before, there are many horses in this race who have questions to be asked. Whether that's about their current form, the ground or the trip. At the current odds, I think Echo Watt is decent value at around 3/1F as he has nothing to prove, and will love today's conditions. It would be a surprise if he doesn't go close in this.

Fed Chair was very impressive and should come on and only 3rd run so I’ve no clue to why 2nd favourite that he beat is being tipped by various but 10/11 ain’t great so I’ll go the single and a double
