Mostawaa put in a very game performance to win at Brighton. When they got to her, I thought she would get swamped and go backwards, but she put her head down and battled to the line, winning for us.

Yarmouth 2:35 – At Liberty 7/2 (1pt B365)

I think the way that At Liberty raced last time on soft ground at Nottingham, he is definitely worth a few quid now he's back on a fast surface at Yarmouth.

He has been known to be keen through his races, which is never ideal, but he was more settled last time out, so maybe he is starting to learn how to properly race, and if he repeats that again today then he will be bang there with a great chance of landing his third win. He is on a decent enough mark of 70, given that he won off 68 at this track last October under Ryan Moore. I thought he won with a fair bit in hand that day and he was keen through that race too, so now he is a 4yo he should be able to progress further and defy his highest winning mark.

A combination of fast ground and Yarmouth seems to be his best conditions. He has run well plenty of times at this venue, obviously including his win, he has also racked up two runner-up places. Hector Crouch takes the ride and he continues to be in good form.

Yarmouth 4:10 – Vienna Girl 10/1 (0.5pt EW B365)

The chance I took on the Boughey horse when going up in trip for the first time clearly didn't work, she drifted out to 50/1 and never got involved. This might seem a similar approach for Vienna Girl, but I think the way she has run over 1m 2f in February suggests this trip should be what she wants.

She was outclassed by two horses who have since improved a fair amount but was sticking to her task and running on strongly in the final furlong. She is bred to stay well, being by Golden Horn, as well as enjoy a quick surface. I'd be happy enough to forgive her recent run at Wolverhampton in April over 2m as it was her first run in 62 days and she was racing wide, but there was some market confidence in her that day, which is of note.

Turf shouldn't be a problem for her as she is a bumper winner on good ground, which backs up the point that she should stay. In a race which looks weak on paper, I think she offers decent value.

Yarmouth 5:10 – Waleyfa 10/3 (1pt Whill)

I previously tipped up Waleyfa when she was running in a big pot Class 6 race at Bath, she was well-fancied to run a big race that day but was off the pace and I think she might've not liked the soft ground, so though she is a horse who has done most of her winning on the AW, she is surely worth another chance on turf now the ground is quicker.

Alice Haynes does very well with obtaining horses from other yards and either bringing them back to form or improving them, and this horse is another example of that. She has won 3 out of her 4 races for her new stable, with the only loss coming at Bath on a testing surface. But, on each of her previous wins, she has looked like a horse who is still ahead of the handicapper, even though she doesn't win by big margins. She is smuggled into her races and is delivered late, so doesn't get the chance to win by a lot of lengths, and once again, this race is weak and if she takes to the turf, which she should based on her pedigree she should have too much for her opposition.
