Padraig Roche (son of Christy) took his father’s license up in Feb and has done really well in his first year and a trainer to keep note of in the coming years.
He currently stands with a 21% win rate (10 from 48) which is very credible when you consider the trainers he has to face here and runs 2 at the track today. Alice Johnson 1.20 looks to have a bit to do but OPEN TO THE WORLD 3.35 i think has a real chance.
His last hurdle race was 3/14 with an sp of 14/1. The winner won again nto off 7lbs higher. The 2nd hasn’t run since, the 4th won lto and is now rated 97. OTTW was giving him a stone that day and beat him by 2 1/2L. Off 102 today with the jockey taking 7lbs off must give him a fighting chance

Well done again yesterday and in general. What things do you look for when choosing a horse? I like to look at the Sign Posts section of the Racing Post but a lot of it is still a mystery to me to be honest – part of why I like it!

I’ve been at this game for a long time , I love racing and horses and that’s what keeps me going .
So many apps and things available now, I don’t use just 1, I use everything I can to get a better idea of horses chance as well as my own intellect.
