IT'S a quiet night on the main card but not for Greg.
He says: “It’s that time of the year when reserve, U20 and U21 matches from Scotland and Europe are in action on a Monday.
“Step forward the Belguim Reserve Legaue, SPFL U20 League, Scottish Development League, Danish Reserve League, Dutch Reserve League and Swedish U21 League.
“Most of these games are laden with goals and if you have time it's definitely worth getting involved in.”
Anderlecht Res v Kortrijk Res (6.30pm)
Both of these sides have seen 26 goals each in their last 5 matches so it’s no surprise Anderlecht have been over 3.5 goals in their last 5. Similarly, the visitors have seen 4 of their last 5 go over 3.5 and overall 19 of their last 20 have gone over 3.5. This looks like another Anderlecht high-scoring win with both teams scoring.
Sint Truiden Res v Genk Res (6.30pm)
We’ll be struggling to find a side in world football whose matches have yielded more goals – a step forward Sint Truiden Their last 6 matches: 5-3 (h), 3-3 (h), 4-3 (a), 2-2 (h), 8-1 (a), 4-4 (h).
That's 42 goals in just 6 matches – not many teams will score as many as they do but still lose and purely down to the fact they can’t defend. Averaging 7 goals a game we should see another BTTS and with each side netting at least twice. To be fair Genk don’t see many goals in their games but that should change tonight as the strugglers meet.
St Mirren U20s v Dunfermline U20s (3pm)
It’s been a 2017 of goals for the young Saints with their matches seeing 5, 5, 3, 4, 7 and 4 goals with both sides scoring. Shouldn’t read too much into h2h at this level but it’s interesting all 9 previous meetings have seen both teams score with 7 of those seeing 4 goals or more.
Dundee U20s v Ross County U20s (2pm)
The young men from Dingwall are a firm favourite of mine purely down to the fact they love to score and concede. Eleven of their last 15 have gone over 3.5 goals with both teams scoring in 8 of those. They are having a terrific season and sit second top. They’ve scored 10 goals in their last two and are usually good for at least a couple. Dundee aren't as prolific but should net at least once.
Belgium
Over 2.5 match goals double 9-10
Both matches over 3.5 (singles)
Scotland
Over 2.5 match goals double 1-1
Both matches over 3.5 (singles)
Greg says: “These are bank builders and for small stakes – I’ve highlighted the four I fancy most so up to you how you want to stake/accumulate, etc.”
Top quality write-up and explanation as usual, great stuff Greg and much appreciated.
