Some people do goals markets exclusively and sneer at win-draw-win bets. I like both to be honest but the advantage with goals markets is you don't need to pick a result.
There are loads of different bets to look at – teams to score, teams to score 2+ or 3+, both teams to score, teams to score in both halves, players to score, etc.
Sunday's goals treble is still running and needs both to score at Cagliari v Inter Milan to come in. Anyone who watched Inter's 3-3 draw at Celtic last Thursday will expect them to concede.
Celtic tore Inter apart at times with pace and have conceded eight goals in their last four. They have also failed to keep a clean sheet on five out of six visits to Cagliari and lost 4-1 at home earlier in the season. Both teams have scored in Cagliari's last six outings.
Today's goals treble is completed in the Dutch Jupiler league where all the Jong teams are in action – Jong Ajax, Jong PSV and Jong Twente. Jong Ajax have seen both score in 16 out of 18 matches and four of their last five have gone over 5.5 goals including a 4-4 at RKC on Friday.
That game took goals in their 25 league games through the 100 barrier and their three meetings with Den Bosch have averaged four a game. Over 3.5 goals pays 13-10 at BetVictor while over 2.5 is 1-2 with the same firm.
If Wolfsburg star Bas Dost is a Dutch goal machine the Jong Ajax are the Dutch goal kings and those bets could feature on my top tips which will be posted once I have a good look at team news.
Let's go for a Daily Double with over 2.5 goals at Jong Ajax and Jong Twente – six of their last seven have gone over 2.5 and their three meetings have totalled 18 goals – for anyone who doesn't want to put Cagliari v Inter in again.
Jong PSV v Top Oss looks the least likeliest of the three to go over 2.5 but it could and doing the treble pays 11-4 at Ladbrokes. Twelve of Top Oss's last 13 have seen btts and over 2.5 goals but only three of Jong PSV's last nine have produced more than two goals.
Best bet at Boavista v Porto could be Jackson Martinez to net at 3-4 with Coral. Porto should win but so short at 1-4 at a ground they haven't picked up three points on their last four visits.
For an anytime scorer double add Napoli's Manolo Gabbiadini who has netted in four of his last five matches. His side should win at home to Sassuolo and he has more responsibility with Gonzalo Higuain missing.

I prefer goals markets too. Invariably you can predict the liklihood of goals more than results as there are so many fluke goals, red cards, bad refereeing that effect the results, but usually there are goals regardless.
