Each week I'll put my tips on this post and last Saturdays my English fourfold came it at 7-1.
This weekend I'm starting with Coventry v Bradford in League One. The Sky Blues probably couldn't have imagined a day when they were happy to be back at Northampton but after five away games in a row they return to their adopted “home” at Sixfield.
Their last home game was a 2-2 draw with Crawley and 14 games at Sixfields have produced 61 goals. It was 3-3 when the sides met at Valley Parade earlier in the season and four of Bradford's last six outings have been score draws.
I'm staying in League One for my third choice and going with Shrewsbury against Port Vale. Recent Vale games have been goalfests with 25 goals in their last five. The Shrews aren't as prolific but should get chances against an outfit they lost to 3-1 away.
Next I'm taking a chance on the FA Cup clash between Sunderland and Southampton. Team news is vital but if both go strong there should be plenty of goals. The sides have met three times this season with both scoring and the last three meetings at the Stadium of Light have seen both on target.
Complete the line with Macclesfield v Forest Green in the Conference. Four of Macclesfield's previous five have seen both score and they won 3-2 at Forest Green in the last round. The Rovers have hit a bit of form and netted nine in their last two games, including six at Hyde.
My Scottish fourfold starts with Dundee Utd v Kilmarnock. United won for the first time in eight against St Mirren at the weekend and the 2-1 win was more convincing than the score suggests. Now they're back on track I fancy them to beat a Killie side who, however, possess a goal threat through Kris Boyd and Chris Johnston. Two of three meetings this season have seen both score including a 4-1 and 5-2 win for United.
Add Airdrie v Brechin with seven of eight meetings at New Broomfield seeing both score. This season it was 3-1 Airdrie and 4-3 Brechin at Glebe Park.
Forfar v Dunfermline also promises goals with the home side scoring 10 in the last three meetings at Station Park. The Pars are favourites but will be wary of that stat and both to score looks a fair shout.
Complete the line with Stranraer v Arbroath. Both have scored in the respective teams' last three matches and two meetings this season. Seven out of 10 clashes between the pair at Stair Park have brought up this market.
