FRIDAY'S my nightmare day due to workload but for Greg it's heaven – and tonight he has matches from the Scottish Premiership and French Ligue 2 to size up.
He said: “I'm focusing on two leagues I’m familiar with and going for goals at Auxerre and Dundee.”
Auxerre v Nancy (7pm)
As I often say playing at home counts for a lot in France and Auxerre will be looking to continue their great form at home. Despite the run they are on they have still conceded in their last seven at home and none of those teams were as strong as today's visitors.
Nancy sit second top and will be looking to close the gap on Djion. Both to score here should have a good chance especially given the way Auxerre are scpring and conceding.
Dundee v St Johnstone (7.45pm)
If I cast my mind back two months to the start of December we were probably the form team in Scotland. Fast forward to now and we can't buy a win and have been knocked out of both cups.
Much of that is down to the fact we are defensively poor this season, I can count on one hand how many clean sheets we’ve had. Dundee will score tonight that I can be sure of.
We’ve found our shooting boots in recent matches and I fancy us to score tonight. I’m with Mr F that BTTS looks a good shout but I’m going to side with goals at a fairly decent price.
We will win at some point but if we do we’ll need to score at least two and Dundee are more than capable of scoring two against us so goals it is for me.
Back over 2.5 match goals 11-10 (NB)
