PAUL PETRIE of McBookie.com and Owen Scott of William Hill missed out on their trebles against last weekend.

William Hill's Owen has still to pick a winner this season while Paul has won £153.20 so far to £10 stakes. Here's what the duo are on this weekend.

Owen writes: It was another miserable week for me last week so I head into Decemeber's fixtures without a win to my name. Let's hope I can change some of that or Santa will be giving me a bag of soot this year.

My first selection is a tough one but if I'm wanting to try to catch Paul I need to get a couple of big wins. I'm taking Shettleston at 7-5 to win their top-of-the-table clash away to Rob Roy. Both clubs have ambitions of promotion to the top flight this season and Shettleston can pick up the win they need.

Another top-of-the-table clash takes place in the East Region and I reckon it's time for Kelty to lose their first league match of the season as they visit Linlithgow. There is still a long away to go in the title race but Linlithgow (1-1) represent value this weekend.

To complete my treble I'm on Tayport at 1-2 away to Jeanfield. Tayport are in good form and will win this division so three points here are a must.

Paul writes: The Culter game has been called off for the past three weeks but I am sticking by them to beat Falkirk in the Scottish Cup at 4-9.

Next I am going for Linlithgow to beat Kelty in the East Region at 1-1. This is a massive match and will have a huge bearing on the outcome for the league title. Kelty are favourites but I just wonder if they have the class to beat the top teams.

Finally, I am going for Star Hearts to beat Luncarty at 13-8. The scored five goals last week at home to Scone and put in a good performance against Cumnock in the Scottish Cup. I am hopeful they can upset the odds.

    Are these pub teams.
I’ve gone as low as lowland league before, but never heard of these.
Have never seen jeanfield, luncarty etc on hills website

Are those teams street football or what?

Sir.Kings, showing your ignorance. There are some really good junior teams in Scotland with several better than some League One and Two senior sides. William Hill prices up games but don’t have them online so best place to go is McBookie.

Junior football lads arguably better than highland and lowland leauges…!

Darren, absolutely and looking forward to Glenafton v Clydebank tomorrow with our new striker signing from Annan – Derek Carcary.

Mr F, nothing much. A wee rumpus earlier but quickly fizzled out.

What, surely not ‘the’ Derek Carcary.
Wow, how did Louis van gaal miss him.
      Quite a coup mr f

Hahaha love a wind up from a senior football fan. Bo’ness beating Elgin Spartans beating Morton. Beith a few years back. Auchinleck cheated out a reply with Hearts when Hearts were in the SPL. Outside of the full time clubs there is no big gap between any club in the senior game to the junior game. Ignorance is bliss though always gives me a chuckle this debate. As an ex Airdrie fan till they became Utd I can say the juniors has been a far better experience than some of the dross you see even in Scotland’s Top division.

Carvary is a good signing Mr F saw him with Raith and Brechin. Should do a job if I’m honest. Although you’ll know that lol.

I’ve been on holiday so didn’t get a coupon on the last few weeks. I’m going for my usual around the 3/1 mark and today’s teams are.

    Linlithgow, Petershill, Pollok

I believe we could see The Meadow dropping their first points this season. Tough tie away to second place Beith.
