TopTips_Ladbrokes

IT was a mixed day on Saturday – although it could turn out to be a great weekend.

My Top Treble landed at 9-2 thanks to Man Utd, Luton and Albion Rovers but Swansea let the Super Single down. However, there is still a chance of four draws that pays up to 155-1.

I split the draw selections over Saturday and Sunday and the first came in thanks to West Ham v West Brom and Stirling v Clyde. So I'm waiting on Newcastle v Arsenal and Hibs v Killmarnock for a fab fourfold.

To be honest having suggested a Yankee I'd settle for one coming in for a profit of about 70pts – but four of course would be tremendous after achieving the feat last month.

If the Newcastle match finishes all square at around 3.15pm anyone waiting for the fourth should be able to cover by backing Hibs/Kilmarnock on the double chance assuming there's not an early goal in the 3pm kick-off at Easter Road.

After 15 minutes at 0-0 you should get around evens and the longer it stays a draw the bigger this price will get so keep an eye on it.

As for today my Top Treble starts with St Mirren who are 8-11 at Ladbrokes to beat Hearts – and that's been cut. Saints stunned Dundee Utd 4-1 on Boxing Day and face a Jambos outfit who were being hammered 4-0 at home to Killie at the same time.

The Jambos have lost five in a row, conceding 19 goals and scoring just one. Gary Locke' side are stretched to the limit and Saints should take full advantage.

Next up I'm taking Derby to get back to winning ways at Barnsley. The County fans who contribute to this site warned us their seven-game winning run could come to an end at Huddersfield on Boxing Day and the 1-1 results wasn't too bad.

Steve McClaren's side should have more joy at bottom dogs Barnsley who have picked up one point and netted just one goal in their last four games. Derby are tempting at 10-11 with Ladbrokes – and again that's been cut from 1-1.

Complete the treble with Huddersfield at home to another Championship struggler Yeovil. The fact Huddersfield were so fancied to end Derby's run says a lot for the Terriers who should have too much for a side they've beaten at home four times out of five.

For the Super Single I wouldn't put anyone off Derby who are 1-1 at Coral but dropping. Others I considered were Nottingham Forest at home to Leeds after an impressive win against Leeds, Rotherham at Port Vale in League One and Preston at Shrewsbury in League Two.

I'm tempted by Stoke at Spurs at a massive 7-1 but they have a terrible record at White Hart Lane and I also looked at Liverpool at Chelsea. The Reds will win if they perform as they did at Man City but you have to respect Jose Mourinho's unbeaten league record at home and it will take something special to end that.

So after much thought I'm going with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell at Partick Thistle. Well have won their last three league outings on the road – at Aberdeen, Ross County and Kilmarnock but in that spell also went down to a shock Scottish Cup exit at League Two Albion Rovers.

Stuart McCall's men have recovered from that nightmare with three successive wins and can make it four at a Partick Thistle side yet to win at home this season. The Jags were held 0-0 at Firhill by Inverness on Boxing Day and scoring goals in front of their fans has been a problem all season with just three goals in eight games – the lowest haul in the UK.

Cap’n! We have a sighting of 1/1 on Derby. Hard to port to Skybet shore or Coral bay!!!

    ARRRRRRRRRRR!

  2. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Good luck with the two draws tomorrow Paul! My preparation for tomorrow is about to start!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, looks a better day but as we know results at this time of year don’t always go to form. I’ll be sticking to singles, doubles and trebles but may post a btts fourfold.

  3. Madi 10 years ago

Mr f I’ve read about a draw system whereby there is no clear favourite (both teams are well above evens for the win) and under 2.5 goals is the clear favourite around the 1.70 mark. Although there was 6 and 4 goals in the 2 draws today in the prem that logic would have applied here to pick a draw, and the villa game nailed the logic. This system is by no means foolproof (hull today 6-0!) but I think a Yankee/trixie on the next full premiership card (New Years day) is worth a go and il have a look at the prices closer to Wednesday

  4. robbo 10 years ago

Gillingham are a massive 11-4 at home to Walsall, being from the midlands I know Walsall are a tidy footballing side but they often lack a cutting edge and are hardly prolific, they were lucky only to lose 1-0 at bottom club Bristol city on boxing day by all accounts

on the life of me I cant understand the price on Gillingham unless they have major, major selection issues,i would have priced it up pretty even tbh

  5. JamesBCFC 10 years ago

Had a good day sat, cowlyn bay came in for my single that i lumped on so i put most of it on sunderland over 1.5 team goals, love late goals!

Theres some gems to be had in them conference N/S divisions not really looked into them before.

Grimsby let me down on a 5 fold which would of landed me a big profit too!

Hope tomorrow pans out the same

  6. jimmybee 10 years ago

Good luck mr f on your draws tomorrow i had 3/4 sat airdrie match doing me in but got a treble.

  7. JamesBCFC 10 years ago

To the blackburn fella who posts on here back us, we’ll win tomorow

Im settin out early so ill have a good piss up there

    • Alan 10 years ago

It wouldn’t be a shock if you did, but we’ve only lost two home games this season. Both teams have had quite a few recent draws, so I’ll sit on the fence and expect another one here, although I won’t be touching this game. Enjoy your trip.

    Delighted with my treble
    Alfreton over 1.5
    Luton over 1.5
    Albion over 1.5
Tomorrow i fancy Derby Stmirren Aberdeen
I also fancy a few teams who did not get wins on boxing day Everton and possibly QPR.
    Also Everton over 1.5 evs
    Celtic over 1.5 8/13

A terrible day for me.I won last week 200€ and made today two treble a 100 € and lost them all :(

I’m new here since few weeks, any advice from anyone how can you best bet?
What do you say Mr F?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

misafir, follow the tips, do your own research, that’s about all I can say. You need some knowledge really to take advantage of what’s put up.

    • honda 10 years ago

Trial and error until you get some sort of staking plan together is how it went for me. There are some top tips on the site so if your sensible and have a plan together you should see profit in the long term. Also what Mr F said.

  10. ClaretNBlue 10 years ago

Just had Derby for now will take another look in the morning

  11. Oor Man in Napoli 10 years ago

Its the last of SerieB for three weeks. The two teams with a little more spark will be Varese and Novara who had their thursday encounter postponed. The top teams who have dropped recently in form over the past month or so have been Empoli and Crotone big style. Pescara and Palermo are THE inform teams and the favourite-with Pescara and Palermo-to get back to Serie B is riding up after a shaky start and a -5 deduction at the start of the season(Siena)

    Single
    Siena 4/5

    BTTS and WIN treble
    crotone v PALERMO 7/2
    PESCARA v empoli 7/2
    BRESCIA v trapani 3/1

    other singles
    Avellino 10/11
    Novara evens
    Carpi 8/11

    • honda 10 years ago

Gonna have a cheeky one on Pescara oor man! Thanks again for the tips!

  12. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

Mr f how do you feel about a derby motherwell double @ 3.77-1? Its in with as good a shout as any based on both teams recent form

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

      Luke, I feel good!

    • waggy 10 years ago

I cannot understand why Motherwell are 6/4 bet 365 at Partick. There is no such thing as a BANKER in football but I think the bookies have seriously overpriced this GET ON !

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

waggy, Motherwell should win but apart from Celtic there probably isn’t an away banker in the Scottish Premiership unless you are at Hearts. Thistle will battle away but don’t score enough but they might have one of those days.

    • waggy 10 years ago

You just get that gut feelin sometimes Mr F – And I had it – and I said It – 6/4 was massive and a bookie mistake (in my humble opinion) so I jumped on it with Derby. Lovin the site and all the opinions. Cheers for the tips fella ;-)

  13. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

Thought so! I feel confident for derby to score a few past a weak barnsley defence. Still unbeaten under mcclaren and could have won on boxing day too but you know a lot more about the scottish sides than me!

  14. Chris Guy 10 years ago

I have a straight £20 on the draws so fingers crossed and I will def be looking to cover if the Newcastle game is a draw as I could easily make at least £1k profit by covering.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Chris, we should all profit if the first one’s a draw due to the kick-off times.

  15. Stuart 10 years ago

Like most I fancy Derby tomorrow with their recent form. Having a look at there record against Barnsley and Derby have only won 1 out of 9 encounters. These stats seem to knock my confidence. Similar with Aberdeen, they have still to beat a Ross County side.

    What you think gents?

    • honda 10 years ago

Personally I take form over history. But I know where your coming from, and unless its recent history it doesn’t count for much in my opinion

  16. JamesBCFC 10 years ago

    BTTS 5 FOLD

  19. Alan 10 years ago

I think Derby is a good choice for the SS. I’ve already backed them as a single, and in a double with Preston @ 7/2.
So will be on the Motherwell tip with confidence. I’ve already mentioned them on another thread, saying 6/4 seemed very generous considering.

Did you know that a Newcastle + Liverpool double pays over 12/1? Surely not….

  20. JamesBCFC 10 years ago

    Alan

Hopefully ill be to pissed to care bout the match tbh ha

Just heard on MOTD that we was last team to stop man city scoring, what a mean defence weve got ha

  21. Chris Guy 10 years ago

    INVERNESS VS CELTIC TIPS

I expect Celtic to win to nil tomorrow, possibly 1-0 or 2-0. As usual I’m going to be backing goalscorers. I fancy Kris Commons to score first and I will be on him at 5/1 for first goal and 13/1 for first goal in 1-20 mins @ 13/1. I often look for value and although Van Dijk done the business for me a few days ago, this time I’m going to turn my attention to Efe Ambrose. The 6ft 3 centre back has already scored 4 goals for Celtic and he’s always in the box for set pieces. Ambrose is 40/1 for first goal and 14/1 for anytime which is too big in my opinion.

    Recommended Bets:

Kris Commons First Goal @ 5/1
Kris Commons First Goal 1-20 mins @ 13/1
Efe Ambrose First Goal @ 40/1
Efe Ambrose to score anytime @ 14/1

    Good luck everyone.

    • MiniDuff 10 years ago

Chris where did you get 40/1 on Ambrose to score first?

  22. misafir 10 years ago

Mr F you say follow the tips here, the problem here are very different opinions and most of them sound logically!
But the result is the same like today.
    I don’t know but I will see …

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

misafir, look at the tip then check it out for yourself. If you agree take it but there are still no guarantees.

    • waggy 10 years ago

misafir – Look at all of the tips the guys provide on here and do your own research using, for example, Soccerway.com It is your decision in the end as it is your money that you are placing. You need to have a gut feeling or instinct that says to you after the tips have been read and you have done your own research that are ready to place your stake (that you can afford). I will not say how much I am UP since I first starting reading this site as I believe numbers are irrelevant. However, I bet, I research, I follow and I don’t withdraw. Until Christmas and Birthdays that is. We are now all free due to the advice on this site and my own research. Bet small, look for a long term return i.e. 6x months and take singles and doubles only at the start. Good luck

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

waggy, good advice. As I’ve said the more research you do the better your chances of winning – but on the site there are people who’ll do the work if you are too lazy or pushed for time.

    • misafir 10 years ago

Thank u for the advice waggy, but you think it makes a difference whether you bet double or you bet fourfold but as System (for example 2/4)?

    • waggy 10 years ago

MISAFIR – Bet small ay first on singles and doubles. The best ever advice I had was from Mr F (I am blowing smoke up his ****) when he said how many banks do you go into with £5 and walk out 90 minutes later with £7.50 ? – Maybe not exactly those words but words to that effect. Keep that in mind……bet small…..singles and doubles and BUILD YOUR STAKE UP over a period of time. Good luck.

    • misafir 10 years ago

Thanks Waggy, I will bet small and make singles and doubles but what do you mean with (I am blowing smoke up his ****)? :)

  23. Alex 10 years ago

2 from 3 yesterday from my selections and it was a case of if you had done level stakes which I know most of you do, you would have doubled your money. That is great for anyone on any day, especially a tough one like yesterday! Anyway, a bigger card today, although I’ve found tips hard to come by on this Sunday and I’m pretty much leaving it all. I’ll put the only one I like at the moment up. I’m going to have another look but the card is extremely tough.

    SHREWSBURY V PRESTON 3:00pm

Shrewsbury have lost 3 in a row at home and are sitting precariously close to the League Two trap door. Preston on the other hand have won 5 of their previous 6 away matches and have won 8 of their previous ten matches. I’m not going to go for my usual goal selections here but I can’t refuse a price of 13/10 on Preston to win this. Preston did lose both meetings last season, but this is a much better Preston side than that of last season’s. I’m more than happy to take anything about evens for this excellent Preston side against a poor Shrewsbury side, so 13/10 is great.

    TIP:
    Preston to win – 13/10

There you go, as I say, I’ll have another look but make no promises! Best of luck.

    • Neil h 10 years ago

Not often your on a team to win a match Alex but I’m certainly on it . Thanks for today , take 2 out of 3 at those odds any day of the week.

    • Alex 10 years ago

Neil h – I can honestly say this is the worst card I’ve looked through in terms of finding any goals patterns. Found next to nothing for my preliminary shortlist and then on further investigation, nothing at all tempted me. Strange day really. On second looks, nothing at all still. Will leave it I think.

    • Neil h 10 years ago

Quite right Alex no point in putting up more than one bet just for the sake of i. Any others you post I’ll be on it but if not will just stick to Preston. Keep up the good work though your one of the most consistent and best performing tipsters on this site

Looking to recoup after a dificult couple of weeks

Fancy celtic, Spurs and derby in a treble

    3/1 with skybet

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Ellis, don’t like Spurs at 1-2 but will be on the other two.

  25. robbie d 10 years ago

Walcott looks a good price anytime tomorrow. 4 in 3 league games since his return.
    21/10 bet365

  26. Ellis 10 years ago

Im also tentative with spurs they are the one i am mulling over backed them twice preciously and they were my coupon buster on both occasions so i may sway against them

    Aberdeen could be my replacement

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

ellis, both are about 1-2. Again Aberdeen will probably win but 1-2 is rubbish – and remember they have NEVER beaten Ross County.

    • waggy 10 years ago

Aberdeen is an insane bet at those odds. Better value had elsewhere.

  27. Tempest 10 years ago

Everton is missing Barry, Barkley, McCarthy, Mirallas, and now Tim Howard, these are key players for Everton; goal scorers and assists. Do you see Southampton winning this one Mr F @4.75? They managed to beat Cardiff 3-0 on boxing day!

    • Alex 10 years ago

Tempest – Don’t know where you’ve read Barkley and Mccarthy are out but they’re well in contention for this match. Everton would have battered Sunderland 9 times out of 10 even with 10 men the other day, it’s not all clear cut.

  28. Ellis 10 years ago

Cheers mr f appreciate the advice

Its a difficult card might stick with a high stakes low odds double

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Ellis, a good policy. Right, I’m off. Saturday was our busiest day ever on the site so thanks to all contributors – and the server held up!

  29. King 10 years ago

hi mr f i also have the 4 draws you suggested today so have the same teams to come threw tomorrow. i read what you wrote earlia about if newcastle draw then to bet on kilmurkirk to cover my bet. but i dont understand the betting format you said to use could u explain a little better please would appreciate it.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

King, if the third draw comes up you need a fourth for a big win. In case it’s not a draw at Hibs you can bet on double chance – Kilmarnock or Hibs to win. That means you will profit whatever the result. Watch out for the prices and remember not to cover to such an extent that you potentially lose out.

  30. Tempest 10 years ago

Sorry about that, I’m reading the wrong section on soccerway, just realised it, thanks Alex.

  31. Brad 10 years ago

    Spurs
    Everton
    Derby
    Leicester

That’s my 4 fold for tomorrow, got everything crossed!!

  32. John 10 years ago

Was going to put Luton to score 3 or more as an in play bet at 7/2 but got greedy and added East Fife…we all know how that went :-) but as for Spurs, we’re not playing badly but i got a sneaky feeling we’re going to end the year with a small defeat, i just think our defence is a bit dodgy at the moment

  33. Blue Mooner 10 years ago

Mr F watta bout a wee win&btts quad the mara? I know ur not a big fan but ur nvr to far away! & any1 else who has any input into this bet wld be vry welcome, cheers.

  34. King 10 years ago

ok think i understand. i just clicked on double chance and its given me 3 options 1 or X. 2 or X. 1 or 2. bit confused as to what they mean

  35. Ellis 10 years ago

So far i have 2 btts picks

Coventry v Oldham – coventry prolific infront of goal but also leak a few, oldham scored in 4 of there last 6 away games

Bradford v Swindon – 6 of bradfords last 7 has seen both teams score, swindon post a similar record with 4 of there last 6 seeing both teams notch.

Maybe looking for a third to complete a treble but finding it hard to see any other patterns

  36. Greg Browning 10 years ago

With a small card to choose from Saturday turned out to be a terrific day and was topped off by the chiefs darts tips! Well done to those who took my my Albion and Alferton posts and added them to a treble!

Here’s my thoughts on tomorrow’s matches!

    Aberdeen v Ross County

County are on a dreadful run, no win in 9 and they have failed to win any of their last 12 away SPL matches! The are in danger of becoming the first club in 15 odd years to be involved in a relegation play off and it’s looking that way at the moment! They travel to play an Aberdeen side who for me have yet to live up to the hype so far! Yes they are only two points off second but given the money they have spent and the players they have they should be second comfortably! McInnes will be expecting a reaction after the Boxing Day defeat to Motherwell and I don’t see County taking anything from the match! The fact they have conceded 2 or more in 10 of their last 12 away matches bodes well for the dons!

Really disappointed with the price, thought it would have been bigger but going include it anyway!

Aberdeen over 1.5 team goals 4/7

    ——————————————————————

    St Johnstone v Dundee Utd

Pains me to back against my team but when you’ve watched your team defeat united just once in 21 league matches you can understand why!

St Johnsone Haven’t scored in 4 league matches now which is a concern! Although they did well against Celtic they didn’t offer much in an attacking sense and a visit from their bogey team who have endless attacking options is a worry for me! With McLean out injured it’s been a tough going for May up front on his own and it’s been grim viewing!

McNamara had done a terrific job so far after a poor start and with players like Armstrong, Cifti, McKay Stevens and Gauld, they are real threat!

There is a good rivalry between the two clubs and i’ll be honest I hate Utd but they look good value for me tomorrow! Will be at the game so will keep you posted, haha!

    Back Dundee Utd 13/10

    —————————————————————-

    Hibs v Kilmarnock

A match between two teams who’ll be high in confidance after two convincing wins on Boxing Day! Hibs have had a real problem scoring this season! They are tidy enough on the ball and get a lot of balls into the box, they just don’t have a Kris Boyd, luckily for Kilmarnock they do! Killie’s problem hasn’t been scoring, it’s been keeping them out! They have two players at the top of their game at the the moment, young Chris Johnston and Boyd! Can see Killie scoring tomorrow but also think they’ll concede! The Hibs fans have seen a paltry 1 goal scored at home in their last 5 matches ( this will please Raaljaca, haha) but I think they’ll score tomorrow. This fixture has a history of goals with both teams scoring in 13 of the last 15 meetings!! Given Killie’s leaky defence but strength going forward I’m going for goals here! Hibs are due a home goal!

Back both teams to score 10/11
    Over 2.5 goals 5/4

  37. King 10 years ago

  39. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Have had a good look through the English games – as always, I have reasoning and stats to back each one up but I’m done for the night(Wrote enough about the Scottish games, haha)

    Port vale v Rotherham

Back over 2.5 match goals 4/6
    Both teams to score 4/7

Bristol City to beat Stevenage 10/11

    Wolves v Leyton Orient

    Over 2.5 match goals 1/1
    both Teams To Score 5/6

  40. phil 72 10 years ago

Looks like a lot of.people underestimated the palace defence good as a win for palace :-):-)

  41. Neil 10 years ago

    Oor man in Napoli.
Hope you had a great Christmas.

I like Siena win at 17/20 on bet365. I was thinking of Over 2.5 match goals at 21/20 and over 1.5 Team goals at 10/11 and even 2.5 Team goals at 3/1.

I can’t seem to do btts and win markets on bet365.
so I was thinking of just singles on

    Avelino win at evens
Brescia o2.5 match goals at 21/20
Brescia o1.5 Team goals at 10/11

    What do you think

  42. phil 72 10 years ago

Good luck with your draws mr f could be bookie basher again
Think the arsenal game might be the weak link did you perm them?

  43. Paddywack 10 years ago

Can anyone tell me why Cheltenham are as big as 10/11 (unbeaten in 11) to beat a Mansfield side that havent won a game in 13.. Is this bet to obvious..? Normal circumstances i would say this has a serious chance as i cant seem to see any major team news that would change my mind as to the outcome.. and info would be great.

    • Alan 10 years ago

I’ve picked up on that myself. Cheltenham have drawn over 50% of their home games, but surely must be too strong for a Mansfield side that have lost eight from their last nine. 10/11? I’ll have some of that.
They are also 10/11 to score +1.5 team goals, so I’ll probably put that in a treble with Derby +1.5 Team goals, and I’m now looking for a team to score +2.5 to make up the treble.

    • waggy 10 years ago

I did the same research as you mate and took Chelt’s – that’s footy for you ;-)

  44. Guess 10 years ago

Phil 72, what do yu think about Adelaide united vs Newcastle jets?

I have my money on the away team

  45. Guess 10 years ago

Paddywack, Mansfield play better away… There home form is what is letting them down

  46. Guess 10 years ago

The premier League tomorrow, all home them would either win or draw… I do not see any team loosing at home tomorrow.

  47. Stevie H 10 years ago

3 coupons out of 3 UP on the festive period is the best ive done, ive made over £300+ on them but no doubt will come crushing back to earth on the next few, heres hoping my luck continues and after looking at this quad today I fancy these at a nice 13.9/1 return….

    Sheff Utd to beat Tranmere
    Crawley to beat Notts Co
    Rochdale to beat Bristol R
    Southend to beat Ac Stanley

    £10 returns £148.98 @ sky bet

  48. GeorgeK 10 years ago

That the same mansfield that got stuffed 3-0 by rochdale last week?

  49. Paddywack 10 years ago

Yes , team news is not much different. Another one i like the look of is Wycombe DNB against Fleetwood. The away have lost their last 3 and not scored a single goal in any of these games. DNB and Wycombe can be backed at 11/10 various and considering the last 2 times they played Wycombe came out on top i think this represents value.

  50. phil72 10 years ago

GUESS the jets have had a few good wins lately and are graet odds 12/5 to win but Adelaide do tend to score at home and are quite short at 21/20 .I may have an overs bet myself over 2.5 is evens.

  51. Paddywack 10 years ago

Thanks Guess , i agree with that to a point – during the week against Rochdale they were torn apart registering just 1 shot on goal as opposed to their opponents who scored 3 and registered 14. If they give that may to MC Glashan and Curerton surely they will be in for another pounding – just my thoughts.

  52. Paddywack 10 years ago

Hi Alan , i study all the Stats myself and I would say you have to go for a team who you think should win easy and are currently scoring alot of goals , the best of the bunch maybe Coventry, St Mirren (only because they are playing kids) and Arsenal.

    Good Luck with that.

  53. Matt 10 years ago

Get on arsenal tomorrow, printing money.

  54. thechief 10 years ago

Morning guys, I have had a look at the early Super Sunday game between

    Newcastle v Arsenal

Newcastle have won 4 out their last 5 at home, whilst Arsenal have only lost 1 of their last 12 at Newcastle. There have been 4 draws between the two sides in their last 6 at St James park.

Newcastle have scored at least 2 goals in 6 of their last 7 home matches in the Premier League. While Arsenal have scored over 2.5 goals in their last 3 away games. To me this looks like a both teams to score affair, which is 4/6 at Ladbrokes.

This time last year Theo Walcott netted a hat trick against Newcastle, although that was at the Emirates. He has scored a brace in his last two away games. Walcott anytime odds is 21/10 Bet365 and a small bet on him grabbing a brace at odds of is 14/1 Bet365 look good to me.

Good luck of your having a bet

  55. Tom 10 years ago

    Anyone fancy leicester and chesterfield?

Both look decent to win tommorow.

  56. Paddywack 10 years ago

    Hi Tom

I would say both have a decent chance, but personally I wouldnt back Leicester , this is always a very close game and i think the draw may be the better option. As for the Chesterfield game, YES i would say this is the stronger of the 2 bets but the only factor that puts me off is Chesterfields record at home is not the best. Saying that D & Red have a poor away record and I think at around Even money its a gamble worth taking that the Spirites come out on top.

  57. phil 72 10 years ago

Tom I think leicester at home to bolton looks good 3/4

  58. TurkishBet 10 years ago

Derby, Motherwell, Huddersfield and Dundee United

  59. Cashi 10 years ago

Like the look of your btts mr f I backed Brentford and Coventry btts & win on Boxing Day so gonna stick my neck out and do the same again enjoying a good run at the moment even the missus got a btts & win double up yesterday! thanks for your top treble yesterday it kept the bank roll building up nicely

  60. Mark 10 years ago

I picked up a few points yesterday , let’s hope for the same today

    Going for :

    Derby
    Peterborough
    Leicester
    QPR

    Best of luck everyone

  61. Rustychest 10 years ago

Sunday’s are usually successful. Looking forward to tonight :)

PS. I almost nailed it on the NBA again. Both slips were coming through for a 400 return from a 100 total stake but Timberwolves decided to score an extra point, however 200 from 100 is nice too. I’m sure my bookie is onto me with my Parlay success haha

Now I have extra to stake on football :)

  62. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

    Neil,
I fancy Siena and Varese each to score. Possibly 2-1 or 3-1. Same with Brescia game to go over. (Scored 10 in 3 games if i remember)

However OVERS in serie B are maybe 4 or 5 out of 12 each week, its mostly under 2.5. You wont see from the form but when the top teams play each other they tend to score goals 2-3 3-3 etc.
So the BTTS and WIN( see paddypower with that or william hill) will give u that. The overs return a poor price on treble but the BTTS and Win makes that treble an 80/1!
Brescia, Pescara and Palermo are tough choices that ive made purely on form and team makeup.
Out the three teams Trapani may spring a surprise.

Avellino should win but Padova are tough and maybe just a goal in it.

    Honda, hope Pescara win then!

  63. Ally Bongo 10 years ago

    Forrest/Leeds over 2.5 goals (Evens) and Inverness/Celtic over 3.5 goals (7/4).

    9/2 Double (SkyBet)

    Thoughts anyone?

  64. phil72 10 years ago

GREG I think Dundee will bounce back after that pounding last week didnt see the game but maybe they got over confident ?
does no one think arsenal will win they are going to want that top spot back

  65. jimmybee 10 years ago

Any thoughts on theese selections appreciated as i think they are a bit over priced and worth a
    bet.
    Leeds 5/2 watford 9/5. Rochdale 5/6
    Good luck to all today

DERBY IS THE ONE EV CORALS WITH 6OOO TICKETS SOLD FOR THE MATCH CM ON U RAMS. HATE TO SAY FANCY FOREST TO BEAT LEEDS HAVIN A LITTLE DOUBLE

  67. TT 10 years ago

Mr Fixit, you were asking about good sites for research..
Look at Kickoff Profits. A stats system model that picks out strong selections in most goal markets. This site is free and used in tandem with a site like Flashscores my strike rate is much improved this season.

  68. Adrian 10 years ago

    Morning Everyone,

I’ve had a read through all the posts on here and from all the research posted have come up with the following coupon

Derby – Seems to be everyone tip including mine
St Mirren – Mr F tip
    Huddersfield – Mr F tip
    Motherwell – Mr F SS
    Preston – Alex tip
Dundee Utd – Gregg Browning tip

£10 returns £633.20 with William Hill what do you think?

  69. Adrian 10 years ago

Also quite like Paddywhacks tip on Cheltenham however if added them in it then becomes a 7 fold and thinkin that’s too many teams…. Would double the winnings though right enough

  70. John h 10 years ago

Hi mr fix need some help if possible ,,got a 7 team accum going , need QPR Fleetwood Mkdons derby to win for me tday , whats best way to cover my bet on these teams thanks john

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

John h, Iknow it’s too late but you can’t cover a bet when you’re waiting on four teams.

  71. Brad 10 years ago

Adrian I literally just looked at that myself, is an advertising slip but can it be seen as ‘chasing the money’ maybe go for a slightly lower stake on the Acca and split the bet up a bit into singles/double/treble with remaining stake?

  72. Adrian 10 years ago

It’s defo a tempting carrot that’s been dangled Brad with Cheltenham as for me putting on just £10 would win me the amount I’ve still to pay for my family holiday away next year lol. I may do that and then a seperate £10 cover bet like Mr F always suggests incase 1 let’s it down

  73. Brad 10 years ago

That’s what I’d do mate if I were you, the temptation is there of course as they show you the return to lure you in. Maybe double check all the stats yourself and if there’s any game your that little bit uncertain on then take it out straight away. Good luck though mate

  74. Oor Man in Napoli 10 years ago

    Singles today for UK matches;
    Brentford
    Cheltenham
    Dundee Utd
    Motherwell
    Preston
    Colchester

  75. tony Mitchell 10 years ago

Dundee united to bounce back today @ 11/8 really unlucky to lose on boxing day. 1st goal scorer Andy Robertson @20/1

  76. Adrian 10 years ago

John H – QPR and Derby should win for u but the 2 I would be worried about are Fleetwood and especially MK Dons away 2 onform Brentford… 4 teams is almost impssible to cover but good luck with whatever u do.

  77. Adrian 10 years ago

Cheers Brad just need to wait an see what happens although just noticed Dundee Utd are a 2pm KO and all the rest 2pm so that’s made me rethink as hate early ko as they always seem to let me down

  78. Adrian 10 years ago

Sorry all the rest are a 3pm ko not 2 lol

  80. Rosco 10 years ago

Mr F, I’m having some problems with 888sport. I placed a 12 team accumulator yesterday and 10 teams have won, the other two were postponed (Stranraer and Woking) On the betslip the ten that have won have shown up as settled, the Woking game has shown as Postponed and has been voided (I think) yet the Stranraer game is showing as open?!?! Is this there way of trying to get out of paying out? I’d perm’ed the selections as well doing any 11 and all 12. They’ve paid me out on one ten pence ten fold so why not the others plus all 11? Not impressed at all, nothing but bad experiences with 888sport.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Rosco, they will pay out when they realise the Stranraer game hasn’t yet been rearranged.

  81. Mathie 10 years ago

Hey guys any tips for btts and win?

  82. bixie 10 years ago

right then, its today, the biggest derby match in world football

    TORQUAY UNITED v EXETER CITY!!

a pulsating plainmoor crowd, the 2,200 home fans expectant, probably almost outnumbered by the unwashed hordes from sid james park

we’re unbeaten in three, keeping tight at the back and they’re plummeting like a stone, even argyle have caught them up now

i feel that todays the day that we finally click into gear and bang a few goals in as well as our third clean sheet in four

    back torquay united at 8/5
    torquay -1 19/5
    torquay clean sheet 16/5
    marquis FGS 6/1
marquis two goals or more 8/1

also fancy home wins in the 4th division for

    pompey
    rochdale
    cheltenham
    chesterfield

    aways for
    scunthorpe
    newport
    argyle

maybe all +1 just in case

    good luck

    • bixie 10 years ago

i hope no one listened to that load of waffle

marquis was injured, so we started with an off form hawley on his own up front, he missed a penalty after six mins and we ended up losing 1-3!

not as disappointing as cheltenham and dundee united bets wise but i’m obviously deflated about losing our biggest game of the season so far

  83. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Phil72, I saw the highlights last week of the Utd game, in previous weeks everything has gone their way! That wasn’t the case against at St MIrren! Our record against them is abysmal and we don’t look like scoring!,

  84. Michael 10 years ago

After yesterday when Welbeck scored just before I was going to bet on him for 1st goalscorer, I managed to get on Commons today just before he tucked the opener away ;)

  85. Zoobsk 10 years ago

    Mr F, I could with a win today and have taken your tips on board with the following bets;

    Double
    Derby
    Motherwell

    5 Fold Accumulator

    Derby
    Huddersfield
    Brentford
    Motherwell
    St Mirren

  86. BusinessmanNL 10 years ago

Just give it a try again, low stakes, just for fun:

Rochdale – Bristol BTTS en HW
Burton – Newport BTTS en HW
Coventry – Oldham BTTS en HW
Carlisle – Peterborough BTTS en AW
Bradford – Swindon BTTS en AW

    Pays 1428, 56/1

  87. Rosco 10 years ago

I had a 401-1 accumulator come in yesterday, any chance of that as line of the week?

  88. JoeX 10 years ago

I left Dundee Utd out purely because their previous two games have been difficult.

    Glad I did!

    • Stealth 10 years ago

JoeX, I wish I had the good sense to ignore Dundee United, been shafted twice by them now :-(

  89. raaljaca 10 years ago

For those who missed my football tip it was Leicester v Bolton to have 6 first half goals, 5 different scorers and an own goal :)

  90. Snikrap 10 years ago

Missed the super single after following them for a few weeks due to signal server problems mega pissed

  91. Steve the Pirate 10 years ago

Arrrr, good effort matey, I put all my silver on Motherwell -3

  92. Stormin 10 years ago

Motherwell smashing the SS! I did a double with Derby and they are 2-0 up so all good!

  93. Alex 10 years ago

Motherwell have a superb result for the SS well done again Mr F!

    Preston hanging on…

  94. The UHT 10 years ago

Couldn’t get on till now, which is a shame because I’m on a nice treble today, but, for exactly the reasons that Raal’s comments about Leicester v Bolton made me chuckle, no point dwelling on it!

    One game left…

Saudi Arabia – Saudi Professional League
    Al-Nasr v Al Ahli SC KO 4.50pm
Al-Nasr are top of this league and they are flying. They’ve won 11 and drawn 3 of their 14 games. They’re F29 A9. Home, they’re P7 W6 D1 L0 F16 A6. They’ve won their last five in a row, two of those at home against 3rd best away and 5th best away.
Al Ahli are 4th best away. P6 W3 D1 L2 F11 A5. But in their last five games home and away, they’ve only won one. That was at home against 12th best away (of 14 in league). Their draw was also at home against 10th best away. In the other three, they’ve lost at home to 3rd best away – who our guys beat at home – and their last two aways, they’ve lost to 3rd and 4th best home sides.
Our guys are obviously best home side by a mile.

    Al-Nasr are 3/5 to win.

    . . .

Hope the day is going everyone’s way so far – the SS is doing the business yet again, of course!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

UHT, was going to claim I tipped the Jambo’s to get a point but realised absolutely nobody would have been fooled by that one mate!!!!!

    Well done again Alex,great stuff.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Swany, it is destiny that the Jambo’s will move into + points by defeating Hibs on Thursday mate!!!

    • swany 10 years ago

You might be right there Raal, thought the buddies were a cert today and they cost me 2 lines, never mind,we move on,good luck to the Jambo’s.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

swany I was that confident today I did St Mirren (-1) in Mr F’s super single competition!!!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, apologies again to everyone for server problems. Admin been tearing their hair out over the problem. Anyway well done to the Jambos but the result does sum up St Mirren who maybe we should have known not to trust. Had been cut from 10-11 on Ladbrokes coupons to 8-15 so will have been a costly result for punters.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

It is unfortunate but it happens Mr F, both the site crashing and Jambo’s busting coupons!!!!

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

And brilliant Super Single Mr F, not many people could pick an odds against shot that wins that easily.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

As a tribute to Mr F, BBC ALBA are showing his Super Single game in full at 17.30…..

Cheers for the SS mr F took Derby as a single too so not a bad day for a change

  100. Rustychest 10 years ago

Thank you so much Mr F. I removed St Mirren after comments here about their unpredictability and replaced them with your Super Single with full trust. Nailed it!! :) largest return on that slip :D

  101. honda 10 years ago

Thanks to Alex for the Preston tip put a little stake on it. Put Derby on 2 days ago thankfully came in. Also had Motherwell on from early yesterday but after Mr F tipped it on the SS I double backed it lol. Top treble beaten by of all teams Hearts! Even Raaljacca couldn’t believe that one. Didn’t come back for the horses Raal with the server issues hope the horse peeps had a good day overall. Oor man Pescara let me down but it was only a small stake and so did Dundee united the buggers, thankfully another small stake. So big thanks to everyone who helped me in my success today. Chief, looking forward to your darts tips if you have any!

  102. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

Motherwell derby double an a ruby walsh winner provides very healthy profit today! What was wrong with the site today mr f?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Luke, been having server problems on and off the last few weeks but no obvious reason for them so going to have be looked at by tech folk. Traffic has been huge this month but the server should be able to cope.

  103. Brad 10 years ago

Won on a treble today and was 1 St. Mirren goal away from a BIG win off a small stakes Acca. Some you win some you lose! Not a bad day at all though

  104. JoeX 10 years ago

I’m beginning to get annoyed with Betfair and its Cashout facility.

It’s now been several times in the latter stages of games, 15-20 minutes remaining whether it be doubles, trebles or above that the whole page containing the bets vanishes. It doesn’t appear as suspended as a whole or individual games suspended as you would expect, it vanishes completely. Only returning fleetingly and more annoyingly in the last few minutes of the games to which the games are then tagged with the suspended or awaiting result banner.

I see no reason why the bets should vanish. They should all remain on screen and if the cashout is unavailable at that time then each game should be suspended on its own merit.

To me, this is disadvantaging the punter when a service is being offered and you bet knowing this service is part of your strategy.

    Anyone else had this problem?

  105. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

Did you do the same double as i did mr f? Was still confident after motherwell were 1-0 down

  106. Fr4nky 10 years ago

Had a really good day so far although it would have been so much better if hadn’t cashed out early when needing Leicester to win at 3-3. Made profit although cost me a further £100 profit cause I didn’t wait :(

Just need Chelsea draw now for a 40-1 3 draws although only have £2 on it

Lumped on the SS although already had it as my main bet but once I seen SS I put more on lol

  107. Brad 10 years ago

Here’s the bet I was so close on:
    Huddersfield WIN
    Preston WIN
    Motherwell WIN
    Coventry v Oldham BTTS WIN
Brentford v MK Dons BTTS WIN
    Chris Commons Anytime GS WIN
    ST. Mirren LOSE

£3.75 would have got me £340 and to think they were 1-0 up makes it worse lol I can’t complain though I got a tasty win off a treble.

  108. swany 10 years ago

Great ss Mr F WELL DONE.

  109. InterYerNan 10 years ago

Thanks Chris Guy – I was on all your commons first goalscorer tips mate!! Nice lrofit for me today inc Mr fs super single. Thanks both!!

All good missed Raaljs horse nap due to server issues – traded out on treble with good profit at half time, and had huddersfield in double with motherwell for great pick up
    best day for weeks

quarter of todays winnings back on NFL Bengals -6.5 @ 5/6
    6-00 start live on sky

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Touch offended at your wording there Simon!!! :(

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Joking mate! If you go on the horses thread you will see the only other bet I had but couldn’t put up, a 7/2 place only double that came in with both the horses winning! I won at 7/2 but the win double paid 17/1!! Ever felt like a winner is a loser??

  111. congregational 10 years ago

A great day for me after a few poor ones. Went big on Motherwell and also did a £10 double with Derby. Thanks Mr F!

Given it is the season of goodwill to all men I made a gesture of goodwill by backing this in a show of solidarity with all my Celtic mates on here!!!! There only 1 Krissy Commons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  114. JoeX 10 years ago

Unlucky on the Treble today with St. Mirren, obviously happy times for Raal lol

I took the treble with small stakes, Derby/St. Mirren with medium stakes and Derby Single with top end stakes covering any losses incurred on Double and treble.

All eggs in one basket with Derby but it looked solid for me so neither up nor down but could have been sitting prettier if Betfair ans its cashout facility allowed me to withdraw for no loss on the double and trebles.

    BetUNFAIR

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

JoeX, not certain mate but I reckon the cash out facility will be withdrawn any time their traders see a chance of the bet losing. It is simply a tool in their favour not ours.

    • JoeX 10 years ago

      Raaljaca-

I’d have to ask that exact question to Betfair and I’d be interested in their response.

“Will the cash out facility be withdrawn rather than suspended any time your traders see the bet going against Betfair. Is it simply a tool in Betfairs favour, not the customer?”

M8 if that is the truth I think there are fair play issues involved.

    • JoeX 10 years ago

      Raaljaca-

To add on to that. I experienced a similar circumstance with William Hill on a Single where the Market was removed then resumed at the end of the game.

The outcome after my complaint to them was the bet being VOID and my stake returned with a full apology after the issue was escalated to management.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar with Betfair.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Complain to them Joe, in fairness the cash out should be available all of a game unless they specify a time limit i.e .85 minutes, but as we all know the bookies do not play fair.

    • swany 10 years ago

Joex I had a prob with 365 and the cash out facility, they told me it was value added service provided for customers and they could remove it at any time, but mine was highlighted yet it wouldn’t cash out,I got a £5 bonus from them but apart from that they wouldn’t budge, like Raal says it seems to be another tool for them ,not us!.

  115. Paul 10 years ago

Recovered from yesterday’s nightmare with Motherwell and derby today thank god…. Lesson learned trying to chase loses :-)

  116. patrick 10 years ago

UHT looks like they might win fingers crossed

    • The UHT 10 years ago

      Fingers crossed, Patrick!

Al-Nasr were out to slightly over Evens at kick-off, which I only noticed after I checked the score at 10 mins, so, I was fearing the worst. They were a goal and a man down within 15 minutes. However, it’s 1-1 and 10 v 10 at half-time, which is a hell of a lot better… I was trying to find out why they’d drifted so far at kick-off, but check out the comments from the fan forum, though. You think it’s mad on here sometimes… ;-)

I have a mate who is a buddies fan,and I had a funny feeling about today,he is always warning me about the evils of gambling,he is a Jonah! lol.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Swany it has been mentioned before that outside of Celtic nobody is a certainty to win any game, just over a week ago Dundee Utd were flying but now they are looking poor. Only real certainty is that on Thursday the 2nd of January Butchers mob are going to get humiliated by the Mighty Jam Tarts and make him regret taking that job ahead of Kenny Shiels!!

    • swany 10 years ago

LOL @Raal hope it happens for you mate.

  123. Jerry Bhoy 10 years ago

  131. Lee M 10 years ago

I see on William hill they have over 20 180s in the Van gerwin vs Webster match at 4/1. They have both have hit the most 180s in the tournament.

  132. TY57ELL 10 years ago

    3-1 fenerbahce

  133. Jerry Bhoy 10 years ago

Raaljaca thanks…thats probably worse than a 2 legged affair. Groups? Crazy portuguese. Birthday moro what can go wrong? Lofl

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

It is a big turn around for Utd’s form. Have good birthday mate and don’t over do it!!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, some of United’s kids look like they need a rest. Either that or they got too excited by Xmas. I’ll probably upset you but for me Hibs look a great bet to beat Hearts. Right, off to walk the dug and it will be a quiet couple of days before another busy spell.

  134. Jim 10 years ago

Excellent tips today. I think Chelsea v Liverpool should have been a draw but I’m glad I backed the one the ref was supporting!

  135. Yesevil 10 years ago

So I’m thinking of the following for the Portuguese clash tonight,
    Over 2.5 total match goals
    Porto over 1.5 team goals,

Anyone have any advice on the contrary?

  136. Mark 10 years ago

Mr f single and then the UHT Saudi tip. Thanks both

  137. justme 10 years ago

Fantastic mr.f..thanks for Motherwell…will you put a super single tomorrow to close 2013 ? Rangers hdc

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

justme, not touching the Portuguese League Cup tomorrow so only game to look at for me is Rangers. Thinking Dunfermline plus two at 11-10 – if not Daly to score first.

  138. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    @TheUHT

Thanks ever so much – I got on when they were getting beat 1-0 – So I got odds of 3/1

    £10 on – £40 back

    Nice one!

Anyone on anything else this PM?

  139. MrT 10 years ago

  142. Ryan S 10 years ago

    Not a great weekend
Yesterday Grimsby let me down on a 6 fold for 170 and then today needed Rotherham to score for 240 quid on a 6 fold and Cheltenham to win on my treble for 65!
Bad luck this weekend hopefully get my luck back next year lol! Does anyone know about william hills cash out option as in which markets and games you can use it on as I suspect the markets all have to be the same on your bet to be able to cash out as cash out wasn’t available on any of them bets? Any help appreciated :)

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Ryan, go on to their site and ask in the live chat what markets they offer it on. I have seen it on actual match results but have never been offered it on Both to Score bets or under/over markets unless I have backed in running.

  143. raaljaca 10 years ago

Apart from Arsenal, Man Utd have the best away form in the Premiership. Not sure who was backing them the other week, Chris Guy?, but if Moyles can start getting Old Trafford back to the fortress it was then the 14/1 available, 1/3 the odds 1-2, might not be a bad bet. Anybody who watches Premiership got any ideas on it?

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

raaljaca, for me it’s still Man City but I think Man Utd will be closer than many think. A lot depends on who does what in the transfer window.

  144. tony mitchell 10 years ago

the most over 20 180s in the mvg match?

  145. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

I love fenerbahce! Pocketed me 400 quid :)

raaj man united are in transition this year they will not be top 2 unless moyes makes 3 top class signings man city 1st chelsea 2nd for me

are we expecting thechief to come on?

  150. thechief 10 years ago

Evening guys glad were back. Semi Finals spots are up for grabs tonight. Lewis and Van Gerwen where two of my 3 bets for the tournament, so I’m hoping they both make it through tonight. I will be at the semi finals tomorrow and if it is Van Gerwen v Lewis semi it will be a continuation of a great rivalry. Anyone who backed both these two will then be able to cover the final.

    Van Gerwen v Webster

Both these two players came through, Gruelling last 16 matches, Webster beating Barneveld and MVG showing amazing bottle to come back and dump Gary Anderson out. Webster has been hitting a lot of maximums in the Championships, he is joint top maximum scorer with MVG. They have both hit 21. The line is set at 15.5 and whilst MVG is capable of routing Webster I think, Webster will get at least a set and possible 2. Therefore I will be on O6.5 sets at 11/10 Bet365 and O15.5 match 180s at 1/1 Various.

    OVER 6.5 TOTAL SETS 11/10
    OVER 15.5 TOTAL MATCH 180s 1/1

    Wade v Lewis

Lewis has been making is way through the tournament with little fuss. He had his lowest average (91) in his last game against King, but he admits he doesn’t like the early start. Wade however played his best darts last time out against Peterson averaging just under 100. Wade blew a 5-1 lead on this stage 2 years ago, in the famous “wind gate” when Lewis went on to capture the title. That match went all the way and like last nights matches I can see this going all the way too. Over 7.5 sets is 11/10 Coral, but I quite like Wade +2.5 on the handicap at Coral, as I can see him winning at least 3 sets. It is 8/13

WADE +2.5 TO BEAT LEWIS 8/13

Good luck if your having a bet

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Cheers Chief and thank you for last nights tips, my first bet on the darts and win win win!!

    • honda 10 years ago

Fancy any 9 darters chief? Many thanks for the write up and tips love these nights of darts. Hope Gregg’s got on lol!

  151. PenguinJames 10 years ago

thechief what do you mean Wade +2.5 to beat lewis? I cant seem to find this on William hill?

  152. Leo 10 years ago

Spot on mr f,i was actually gonna ask for your opininion about that,am also thinking of going for Dunfermline +2.

  153. thechief 10 years ago

Evening Raaljaca, I don’t fancy Man utd to be honest 8pts behind Arsenal and 7 behind City. I don’t think their midfield is very good, I mean I doubt likes of Young, Nani, Cleverly, Fellani and Carrick would get into any the other top sides. Cant see them buying in January as all the top players are still in Champions League.

    • raaljaca 10 years ago

Thanks Chief, my own thoughts is he has a side that are consistent away from home and with the players he has the team may be able to improve their home form to an extent. Might not win it as you say but come second? Time will tell. I am going to have a couple of shillings on them each way in the hope they improve. I am no Man Utd supporter but after backing Kris Commons today I now have no limitations except backing Hibs!!!

  154. PenguinJames 10 years ago

I can find Wade to beat Lewis set handicap betting +1.5

    is this the same thing?

  155. tony mitchell 10 years ago

went for ur tip over 6.5 threw it on a double with over 7.5 lewis vs wade @ evs

  156. thechief 10 years ago

Penguin it should be on the handicap, maybe they not doing that market, bit strange maybe it will come on later

  157. thechief 10 years ago

Honda I normally have a little punt on a 9 darter for fun. If it is Lewis v MVG tomorrow I would fancy one in that game

  158. thechief 10 years ago

Cheers Raaljaca hoping it another profitable night like last night :)

  159. PenguinJames 10 years ago

I could only find the +1.5

    I’ve gone for OVER 15.5 TOTAL MATCH 180s 1/1

    £10 at EVS

  160. thechief 10 years ago

Penguin yeah but 1.5 means Wade has to win 4 sets, so see which is better value that or Over 7.5 sets

  161. PenguinJames 10 years ago

I’ll just go for the OVER 15.5 TOTAL MATCH 180s 1/1

I don’t know anything about darts! haha :c)

    Thanks for the tip! :c)

    Here’s hoping!

  162. tony mitchell 10 years ago

also threw 5-2 mvg and 5-3 lewis on a double

  163. thechief 10 years ago

No worries mate, check in later guys

    Enjoy the darts :)

  164. PenguinJames 10 years ago

Where can I see how many 180’s have been scored?

  165. honda 10 years ago

    4 so far mate

  166. raaljaca 10 years ago

bet365 give it in running James

  167. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    thanks guys :)

  168. rail value 10 years ago

sporting life website gives up to date 180s currently 4

  169. PenguinJames 10 years ago

As I say, what I know about darts you could write on an ant!

I hope the over 15.5 comes in! :D

  170. PenguinJames 10 years ago

How long does darts go on for?

  171. Ellis 10 years ago

St mirren done my treble for a tidy profit but a 18/1 five fold made it a good day

    Celtic
    Aberdeen
    Leicester
    Derby
    Motherwell

All down to this beautiful site so thank you very much for helping me break the losing streak!

    Roll on NYD!

  172. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    Van Gerwen two 180’s nice!

  173. Ryan S 10 years ago

Cheers raaljaca yh I’m pretty sure now all markets in the accumulator need to be the same so I’ll have to try sort my bet fair account out and us that more

  174. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    8 more 180’s come on!

  175. Neil h 10 years ago

Well done Webster , desperately needed him to win that set to have any chance with the 180’s bet. Should have been more so far though Webster has had the first 2 darts in the treble so many times but then misses the last.

  176. PenguinJames 10 years ago

Can you see it coming in? Based on how they are performing? How long is the break for?

  177. Neil h 10 years ago

Only way it will have a chance of coming in is if Webster wins the next set. He has the throw so has a chance but if MVG wins this set then no way there will be that many 180’s in the one set to get it in .

  178. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    Ah :| damn!

  179. PenguinJames 10 years ago

4 more 180’s needed! Come on Webster!!

  180. Lee woody 10 years ago

Just 4 to go on the 180’s

  181. PenguinJames 10 years ago

I hope so! Come on! We need this to go the distance!

  182. McGart 10 years ago

Is that the over 6.5 total sets in then thecheif?

  183. PenguinJames 10 years ago

    Yes – I think so

Here’s hoping the over 15.5 180’s comes in!

  184. tony mitchell 10 years ago

yeh thats in i need over 7.5 in lewis vs wade got £50 on the double

  185. Lee woody 10 years ago

Webster dropped from 28/1 – 6/1 to win match going to have a go now as he is looking good

  186. tony mitchell 10 years ago

    dont mvg has it here

  187. McGart 10 years ago

Many sets in the wade match? Over 7.5?

  188. Stealth 10 years ago

Wade +2.5 not available on bet365 or betfair

  189. tony mitchell 10 years ago

iv went for wade over 7.5 chiefs tip of over 6.5 in websters match is correct. and stealth not sure about betfair but ladbrokes suspended betting as soon as mvg match finished

  190. thechief 10 years ago

MVG nearly blew that there, Webster didn’t really contribute to the 180s he had 24 140s and missed the last dart at least a dozen times. Total sets was landed at the bigger odds so happy with that :)

  191. przemm 10 years ago

    Anyone on Lisbon – Porto?

    As for darts, I couldn’t find Wade +2,5. I went ahead for Lewis 5-1, 5-2, 5-3

  192. thechief 10 years ago

Raaljaca maybe if Fergie was still in charge they could get second, I think secretly Moyes will just be happy to get top 4 and maybe grab the league cup.

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

thechief, if Moyes finishes top four and wins a cup it’s not a bad start. First season was always going to be tough especially with Mourinho back and Liverpool and Arsenal doing better than expected.

  193. tony mitchell 10 years ago

porto win but keep stakes low

  194. Stormin 10 years ago

    Martinez to score?
Lewis and wade over under 17.5 total 180s 5/6 for both. Thoughts?

  195. tony mitchell 10 years ago

exactly what i said earlier man u need to buy big though every top team except united has signed at least 1 world class midfielder and thats going to be the difference man u refuse to spend money so will fall behind like arsenal did for so long

  196. Cobramint 10 years ago

BTTS on Lisbon – Porto now Evs @ paddy power.
Got a sneaky feeling for Wade in the darts, certainly no tip just a feeling 5-2 or 5-3 Wade

Good Luck whatever you are doing!

  197. thechief 10 years ago

Stealth Coral do wade +2.5 looks like Hills only going Wade + 1.5 but the odds are 6/5 rather than 8/13. Over 7.5 sets at Hills is evens. Bet365 were going 11/10

  198. Stealth 10 years ago

For me this is always going to be a close fought affair. I’ve gone for a 5-4 scoreline on both Wade and Lewis at 17/2 & 13/2 respectively

  199. tony mitchell 10 years ago

check line ups 1st not sure how serious the teams will take it. plus its the 1st game in the groupstage of the cup, personally i would go over 17.5

  200. thechief 10 years ago

check line ups 1st not sure how serious the teams will take it. plus its the 1st game in the groupstage of the cup, personally i would go over 17.5

    • Stealth 10 years ago

I’m hoping it’s Lewis as I had him at 5/1 early doors before Taylor bit the dust

  201. thechief 10 years ago

Stormin if it goes close then it will depend on Wade, he is not the most prolific 180 scorer. I would imagine Lewis to hit minimum 10 in a close match.

  202. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Evening gents, I think over the last 12 months I’ve tipped St Johnstone to lose on 4 of 5 occasions! On each occasion they have won so from now on I’m going to tip them to lose every week, haha!

Jackie McNamara made a right arse of it today! He made 8 changes to the side that got beat my St Mirren! Armstrong, Gary MKS and Cifti on the bench and Gauld not even stripped! A few of the United fans I know were far from happy and no wonder! He’s a young manager though! and I’m sure he’ll learn from that!

Not the greatest day on what was posted, a goal short in many of the matches, only Hibs game over 2.5 at 5/4, Bristol City 10/11 and wolves BTTS 5/6 came in from 7! Lucky little Seria B over 2.5 goals 4 fold made it all right , and of course 3-0 to the saints! :)

Those on Utd, questions should go to McNamara!

Well done to Mr F with Motherwell and Chris guy and Alex with their winners! Alex Saw the Preston of, unreal, haha!

    • Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Greg, to be fair to McNamara he has to protect the young guys like Gauld. A St Mirren fan I work beside was at last week’s game and said Guald looked tired. Also at this time of year clubs need to rotate. You’ll notice I steered clear of United but the said St Mirren also said they’d beat Hearts. I tipped up Thompson at 5-1 to score first in the Record and backed him but can’t remember if I put him up on the site.

  203. thechief 10 years ago

Good luck with whatever you’re on guys. Enjoy the match

  204. tony mitchell 10 years ago

    come on over 7.5

  205. Stormin 10 years ago

    Nice one max!
I usually do goalscorers but left it this weekend. I had chris martin last 2 times anytime and he missed a penalty each time! Also he let me down last week with commons in a 4 fold. Of course he scored today and martin gets 2!
Cheers for the info guys think I’ll leave it tonight after a thought. Had a mad day on the footy and will leave it for another day

  206. tony mitchell 10 years ago

just checked stormin martinez is on the bench best bet might me varela and porto -1 as well as that im on sporting half time porto full time

  207. Stormin 10 years ago

Doesnt look the best of games going off bet365 stats. Hope for a better 2nd half for you tony. Ive decided against a bet

  208. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Mr 50% today on singles and my best one ;Palermo 7/2 was mint. But, Serie B was beginning to break my balls a bit and normality(with a hint of the usual craziness) returns next week with Serie A. (And a slice of ligue a, la liga, bund)

    • honda 10 years ago

Funny league oor man, missed the Palermo single and went with Pescara in the top of the table clash. Not sure why I skipped Palermo but must have been a reason even though they were on good form (serie B good form that is)

    • honda 10 years ago

Forgot to mention cheers for the tips!

  209. paul s 10 years ago

just saw the antigua premier league game thats on just now. the away team have won there last 6/7 games on the bounce and home team won once in last 6. even money on the away team seems a steal

  210. Greg Browning 10 years ago

Can understand Gauld Mr F but there was no reason not to play the others, especially after last weeks mauling by the the other saints! There’s rotating 2/3 players and making sweeping changes! You can’t to make 8 changes at any club let alone Dundee United without it impacting the team! Word is he had his eye on the Aberdeen game on New Year’s Day! No I think I did see you post it on the site -he’s had a great season :)

  211. tunnell 10 years ago

    I went with sporting Dnb @ 2.37 before k.o.

Just a feeling…. GL anyone having a bet.

  212. Oor man in Napoli 10 years ago

Honda, close with Pescara as Empoli had a man sent off at 50 mins….Pescara should have nailed it. Super close with Brescia too. Close but no candy cigarette…

  213. Stealth 10 years ago

    Wade just didn’t turn up

  214. przemm 10 years ago

    Lewis 5-1 – a healthy profit :)

  215. Luke Shannon 10 years ago

    Red card porto guys

  216. tunnell 10 years ago

Money back, sporting had a few good chances. Was gonna take Sporting +1 before kick off @1.67 never mind. Better then a loss :)

  217. paul s 10 years ago

5 mins into injury time bet up haha. hope some were on it

  218. thechief 10 years ago

34 missed doubles by Wade, which is usually is strength. Anyone now who backed Lewis & MVG will now get a chance to cover the final. Looking forward too tomorrow night, the semi finals were pretty much as you would expect bar Taylor, 3 of the top 4 seeds have made it.

    Wright v Whitlock
    Van Gerwen v Lewis
