JORDAN'S enjoyed a couple of quiet days but is back with a bet for Thursday.

He says: “Torino host Genoa in Serie A where seven of their eight at home have gone over 2.5 goals with both scoring.

“Genoa suffered a 4-3 defeat to Palermo at home last time out and have conceded two or more in four of their last five away games. Torino have kept one clean sheet in their last 12. This market has landed in the last five between these two and four of the last five in Turin.

“Andrea Belotti has 12 goals for Torino this season, six in his last six and is my favourite to net against a side who don’t travel well.”

I put the last of my Bet365 account money on this Torino btts & over 2.5 goals single. I expected a ‘Cash Out’ option and when I placed the bet it provided one. However when I checked the game after 5 minutes, the ‘Cash Out’ option had been removed and remained that way for the entire 90 mins. I would never have placed the bet without the safety net of a cash out option and I’ve e-mailed bet 365 for an explanation.

Cash out for o2.5 & BTTS isn’t available as it’s not available as an in play bet.

Thanks Sless. Wish I’d known that before placing the bet although I’m sure I’ve had a go of this market before and had a cash out option.

Bookies can withdraw cash-out at any point.
Also remember cash out is for their benefit not ours.
From my point of view bets shouldn’t be placed with cash out in mind and only considered if your bet is in a winning position.

I totally get all the points you’ve made there Mr F and most bets I will let ride and happily lose the stake even if the cash out option is available (Especially on acca’s) but I placed a considerable amount of money on this single bet so for me in this particular instance, it was in my best interests to have that safety net. I thought this market definitely had a cash out available and if I’d known that wasn’t the case, I wouldn’t have placed the bet. Nevermind. I’ve still got winning funds left in my Sky Bet account so I live to fight another day. Thanks for the input tho Mr F; it’s certainly given me something to think about.

I understand that but the way I look at it is if cash-out is already in your mind before placing the bet you have enough doubt about the wager – so don’t place it.
Sometimes I wonder how we all managed in the days before cash-out and it’s relatively new.

To be honest I wouldn’t ordinarily bet on Italian games or any continental games for that matter. In this instance I just decided to take a punt on Jordans tip. I know what you’re saying though: You’re better off betting on things that you have some knowledge of and feel confident in backing. My strength lies with the English leagues so I think I’ll just stick with that from now on. Have a great Xmas anyway Mr F and all the best for 2017.
