DEC 21: MR FIXIT’S TOP TIPS

IT'S Friday – deadline day for Daily Record column – and I've got less time on my hands than Santa's little elves.

But after a superb week of Super Singles I'm posting some tips on what is a busy night of football – but will have to keep it brief.

Firstly, I like the look of Motherwell who travel to St Mirren in the SPL. Well have climbed to second in the table and away from home boast an identical record to champions Celtic – six wins, two draws and just one defeat.

Historically this fixtures has been close – two draws and a 1-0 win apiece in the last six meetings – but I can see Well taking the points. They are 11-8 at BetVictor.

There are seven games in England and best bets could be Blackpool who are 23-20 at BetVictor at home to Wolves in the Championship.

Blackpool have built an eight-match unbeaten run under Michael Appleton and although there are too many draws in there I'm on them to beat a side who have lost seven on the road and drawn none.

Swindon are 20-21 aBetVictor to edge out Tranmere in League One and I like the look of Cheltenham at 19-10 with BetVictor at struggling Rochdale.

On the continent there has been a lot of talk about Falcao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and rightly so.

Falcao netted five in his last home outing against Deportivo and is incredibly short at a best
2-1 with bet365 to hit the opener against Celta Vigo and 4-9 to score at any time.

You can undertand the prices but it's still disappointing. Atletico have won eight of eight at home in La Liga and are 3-10 at BetVictor and unibet to make it nine in a row.

Ibra's PSG head to Brest and shouldn't make any boobs. The French leaders have hit three in a row without conceding and did well to see off title challengers Lyon last week.

Again PSG are short but should come up trumps at 8-15 with Betfred and Paddy Power. Ibra is 3-1 with Ladbrokes and William to score first and 4-5 at boylesports and sportingbet to net at any time.

It doesn't pay a huge amount but add Juventus to PSG and Atletico for a big guns treble that should come up.

Celtic's Champions League opponents travel to Cagliari after five successive wins to nil and are 4-9 with the likes of Ladbrokes and Coral to extend their lead at the top of the table to 10 points.
