AFTER successive 9-2 Super Singles thanks to Lorient and Mainz I'd love to find another – but it's no easy task.
There aren't too many matches on the main coupon tonight with just one game in England, one in Scotland and several cup clashes in Italy and Germany. There are also
The big one sees Leeds entertain Chelsea in the last eight of the Capital One Cup and having already knocked out Everton the Elland Road men won't fear the European champions.
Rafa Benitez's side have faced a punishing eight games in 25 days and have just returned from Japan where they lost the World Club final to Corinthians on Sunday.
Already without John Terry, Benitez is now minus the suspended Gary Cahill, John Obi Mikel and Daniel Sturridge and has doubts over several players.
So there must be questions over Chelsea's stamina and that's why the Blues have been pushed out from 8-13 to a biggest 5-6 with the likes of William Hill, BetVictor and bet365.
However, Leeds boss Neil Warnock has thrown up a dilemma by suggesting he could rest players ahead of the weekend Championship meeting against Middlesbrough. Four wins in five have pushed the Yorkshire men close to the play-offs and this is now a vital encounter.
If Warnock stands by his words I'll be on Chelsea but if you wait until teams are revealed and Leeds are weakened that price will disappear.
I'd be tempted by bet365's 10-3 on the home win – although I'd be happier with 9-2 – if Warnock was playing all of his big guns.
There's no doubting Chelsea's quality but strange things happen in the Capital One Cup – look at Bradford v Arsenal for example.
The game in Scotland looks more straightforward and I fancy Montrose at 20-21 at BetVictor away to East Stirling. Montrose ended a run of six unbeaten against Rangers at the weekend but gave them a fright before going down 4-2.
They have hit 13 goals in six games and conceded nine while Shire's last six have featured 23 goals so it could be one for both teams to score at 4-9 with bet365 and Stan James.
On the continent there's no reason for champs Borussia Dortmund to rest players ahead of a 10-day festive break so take them to beat Hannover in the German Cup at 3-10 with Paddy Power and William Hill and look at Dortmund -1 at 3-4 with Betway and boylesports.
Stuttgart's last home game was a 3-1 win over Schalke so they should be too strong for second division Cologne whose only win in their last four was against Ingolstadt. Stuttgart are 4-9 (various).
Add Porto to Dortmund -1 and Cologne to complete the treble. Porto are 4-9 with William Hill and others for a league cuo trip to face a Nacional side they've beaten to nil in their last four meetings.
Anyone tempted by Benfica at Olhansense should consider the fact their last three visits there have ended in draws. Benfica are 4-9 at Coral and BetVictor.
I feel duty bound to put up a big Super Single but maybe you should only back it if you cashed in on Lorient and Mainz. Play this one with bookies' money for small stakes.
The game I'm looking at is Napoli v Bologna in the Italian Cup. The sides met in Naples at the weekend with Bologna winning 3-2 with two goals in the last two minutes
Not only were they rocked by that result but Napoli have been docked two points and skipper Paolo Cannavaro and defender Gianluca Grava banned for six months for not reporting matchfixing back in 2010.
Napoli are appealing but it's dark days for a side that has lost three in a row and now finds itself 10 points off the top of the table.
Bologna are not 9-2 – they are a best 15-2 with Betway – and it's worth a sniff. However, latest team news suggests they're fielding a weakened side and that's always a problem with Italian Cup fixtures. Napoli may do the same but I don't know yet.
If that sounds too risky consider Bologna on the double chance at 15-8 with William Hill.
Picking matches with both teams to score is tougher on predominantly cup matches but I'm having a dabble at a fivefold.
Start with East Stirling v Montrose and add Udinese v Fiorentina with the away side's last six featuring six goals.
Wolfsburg let us down on this market at the weekend but their tie with Bayer Leverkusen should produce. The last six meetings have seen both score with four 3-2s in that run.
Make it four with rampant Bochum, 17 goals in five games, against an 1860 Munich side who have netted in their last five – four of which have been score draws.
Complete the fivefold with fifth Napoli v Bologna which has seen both net in their previous five encounters – including that weekend result.

Can’t really say as it’s also to do with my job etc…. but i get alot of info from racing post, racing uk, attheraces etc…. and alot of the tipsters, form etc…. Ludlow today was so very hard because of the ground, and all meeting the rain was coming down, so turned more into a test of stamina.
I earn alot of money from Betfair, in play, trading in and out, and getting on early prices before they come right in, then trade them out in play, but horse racing you have to be so quick, football is so much easier to trade bets. I go through betfair most days, and back and lay off in most races.
And….. didnt they have honest john in the 12.50, and snack eyes in the 1.20 as top tips, both non runners ?
I laid snake eyes this morning, for i did it in the last outing it had, and it came second off a 1/5 price in a 5 horse race, and i laid it at 7/4/ And the 12.50 i had a winner with Handy Andy.

Kyle, some bookies such as bet365 do each-way unlimited scorers but the 19-1 Mata has be questioned. Should be about 6-1 or maybe he means 9-1.
Mata Anytime was (21-10, bet365) (7/4 betfair), you don’t get mata at 9/1 or 6/1 to score anytime in the premier league games, let alone a capital one game against Leeds. I couldn’t care anyway, but those were the prices that Mata went off !

A wasn’t aware of that Paul. Thought it was a max of about 1st 5 goals. The Mata 19/1 is just a typo I think it was 19/10 – still a gid price to be lumping on with £100. I couldn’t bring myself to do it though. Too many factors can go against goalscorers for me i.e red card, subbed, injured
People say picking a first goal scorer, or even an anytime scorer is easier then picking a winning horse, but i’d rather lump on a horse to be honest, for i know that a horse is actually gonna win, where as a football match could finish 0-0.

Chris, I used to but found prices were shrinking same as everywhere else. I’ve said before I’m not a professsional gambler and if I was I’d do a lot of backing and laying and anything I could to . I tend to do a lot of singles and doubles (plus the bigger btts accers) so don’t need to use them as much.
Paul you are never going to believe this. I was frantically trying to back Torres £60 ew after depositing £120 to my bank account but my computer kept freezing. I phoned thinking that the bet hadnt been placed so I asked them to stick £60 ew on Torres. Turns out I actually placed the bet twice so had £240 on instead of £120 lol. Stuck the bets on at 19:40 and 19:42. Just as well he scored then ain’t. Another £30 profit in the bag and I didn’t even know about it!!

If you can only afford a fiver a week, you would be better spread betting, then doing 4/5 team accumulators.

Chris, as I said I believe you. I was with you on Bologna when Napoli scored and the fact they played a weakened team. The single was a bet to nothing but I did a daft treble (along with my top treble) with Bochum and over 3.5 goals at ES so that was a bonus.
I like spread betting on SPORTINGINDEX, but i have never seen the market for aggregate shirt numbers of all the goal scorers in a match before.

Chris, again it’s a market I tried and once made a killing on a game years ago that was Dundee 1, Rangers 6 at half-time. Finished 7-1 so I should have got out at the interval. I don’t like the fact you don’t know how much you could lose and it’s very volatile when you consider the numbers players wear these days. EG Hooper 88, Wanyama 67 if looking at a Celtic match.

Chris, I don’t tip on spread betting and it’s not for everyone so my advice to anyone before trying it is to check their maximum losses and be careful about unit stakes. Colin Duncan (Sam Spread) tips one or two markets on my Record pages on a Saturday and does quite well.
I’ll have alook out for that on saturday and see what he suggests.

Danny, it’s never that simple re the Europa League. Much depends on how respective teams are doing on the domestic scene which then has a bearing on how strong a side they’ll put out in Europe. One of your three might well win it but it’s much more complicated than that.
